HOW TO INSTALL AMTECH PALLET RACK
Instructions for installing variants
● AMTECH Pallet Rack US
(pallets 1200 x 1000 mm, maximum pallet weight 1000 kg)
● AMTECH Pallet Rack EU
(1200 x 800 mm, maximum pallet weight 1000 kg)
What will you need for the installation?
• Drill
• Meter
• 12 pcs of expansion anchors HST M 12/20
These items are not included in the delivery.
Installation
AMTECH Pallet Rack is installed on a flat concrete floor of C20 / 25 th. min. 160 mm and is anchored
using 12 pieces of expansion anchors HST M 12/20.
Location of anchor bolts and visualization of the correct placement of the pallet on the stand
• Drill 12 holes where you want to install the stand so that the distance between the right and
left part of the stand is 1010 mm.

• Two stand variants
• For MiR Pallet Lift, X = 421 mm (± 3 mm).
• For MiR EU Pallet Lift, X = 331 mm (± 3 mm).
• The distance between the parts from the inside must be 1010 mm (+ 10 mm, - 0 mm).
• Shelves must be perpendicular to the floor surface.
• Shelves must be parallel to each other.
• Anchor the stand with 12 HST M 12/20 expansion anchors

SAFETY
WARNING
• The stand is dimensioned for a maximum pallet weight of 1000 kg
• The stand must be anchored to the concrete floor C20 / 25 th. min. 160 mm
• The stand is anchored using 12 pcs of expansion anchors HST M 12/20
• The anchor must be at least 100 mm from the edge of the concrete
• The load on the pallet must be evenly distributed
• The pallet must be placed correctly on the stand
• Improper installation or use of unsuitable anchoring devices may cause collapse of the stand
or its deformation. People can be crushed and the equipment and materials can be damaged.
After installation, a risk analysis is required.
When installing and handling the product, the safety precautions resulting from applicable legislation
(i.e. any international, European, national and local regulations, laws, ordinances or regulations that
are relevant and applicable to a particular product or area), installation instructions and safety
precautions according to the installation manual must be followed.
The person handling the product is always obliged to follow the installation instructions and taking into
account the condition of the product as well as weather, temperature and other external conditions
at the installation site.
The product must be installed professionally by a qualified person who is qualified to install it, and the
instructions in the installation manual and safety precautions must be observed.
Prior to installation, it is necessary to verify whether the installation site can withstand the weight of
the product, even with its maximum possible load.
Improper installation of the product and improper handling of the product may result in injury, death,
or serious injury or property damage.
When installing and handling the product, it is necessary to use adequate personal protective
equipment (protective gloves, safety helmet, etc.).
It is not permitted to make any changes to the design of the product during installation or use by the
end user without the written consent of the seller. Otherwise, the seller is not liable for any damage
caused by design changes or modifications.
The end user is obliged to ensure that the person handling the product is acquainted with the technical
specification of the product, the method of its use and the safety measures that must be strictly
observed.

The product has been designed to be used exclusively for the purpose of storing pallets of normal
dimensions and weight.
The product is not intended for use or handling by children and persons with reduced mental, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the product by a person responsible for their safety. Children should
be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
The end user is obliged to ensure regular care and maintenance of the product and to follow the
instructions given in the installation manual. The end user is obliged to ensure that the person handling
the product is acquainted with the installation instructions, the way the product is used and the safety
measures.
It is necessary to perform regular inspections of the product installation (especially the correct location
of the anchor bolts), at least once every 6 months. It is also necessary to carry out regular inspections
of the place where the product is installed for signs of damage that could affect the location of the
product.
The seller is not responsible for non-compliance with incorrect installation of the product, nor for
incorrect use of the product and non-compliance with safety measures by the end user.
Stand location
The placement of the rack must be done according to the MiR requirements for the installation of the
Pallet Rack so that the correct function of the device is ensured.
Declaration of liability
When installing and handling the product, all safety precautions arising from applicable legislation (i.e.
all international, European, state and local regulations, laws, ordinances or regulations that are relevant
and valid for a particular product or area), installation instructions and safety precautions according to
the installation manual must be observed.
The seller is not liable for damage caused by non-compliance with applicable legal standards, incorrect
installation of the product, or for incorrect use of the product or violation of safety measures by the
end user.

ACCESSORIES FOR AMTECH PALLET RACK
AMTECH Pallet Rack can be supplemented with accessories that increase the automation of use.
AMTECH Communication Box + sensor
Mission launch automation. This extension will allow automatic detection of the pallet in the
rack and sending the defined mission to the robot or MiRFleet.
AMTECH Trigger Box + sensor
Automate the launch of decision-making missions. This extension will allow automatic
detection of the pallet in the rack. The connected barcode reader or RFID reader recognizes
the material
on the palette and automatically sends the defined missions to the robot or to MiRFleet.
Example:
• An orange palette appears on the stand. Mission A will start automatically.
• A banana palette appears on the stand. Mission B will start automatically.
