Welcome to Anda
This document will help you to know the features and tools that the Anda Watch provides you
Anda gives you the opportunity to connect with your loved ones. From the Anda Watch, you will be able to
communicate all the time in a simple, easy and fun way.
About Anda
We are a technology company located in Lima –Peru, whose main goal is to provide a platform of efficient communication
services between parents or tutors (mobile and web users) and children between the ages from 3 to 9. For this, Anda has
developed its first smart device: the Anda Watch.
About Anda services
The services developed by Anda Technologies allow users of mobile and web platforms to interact with the Anda Watch by
providing communication services. These services include features such as messaging, contact management, alerts, safe zones
management and games, among others.
The tutor can use or manage them through web platforms and mobile applications on Android and iOS operating systems.
Before you begin
With the Anda Watch on hand, make sure you have access to one of our platforms, web (web.anda.pe) or a mobile application
(Android or iOS) and create an Anda account.
To link your Anda Watch to your account for the first time, you first have to obtain a device code or QR code from your Anda
Watch. Once you introduce this code into your account, the Anda Watch will automatically link and belong to you as a contact
within you Anda network.
Necessary requirements
To enjoy the services, the Anda Watch must have the following elements:
•SIM card installed.
•USB cable and wall adapter.
•Access to the mobile application (iOS, Android) or web.
Useful terminology
•Anda Watch: This is the first-generation of watches created by Anda.
•Device code: it is the device serial number, this code is shown in the watch screen once it is turned on.
•Link device: A linked devices means that the Anda watch has been connected to your Anda account.

Multi-function button
The Anda Watch has just one multi-function button, which is used with a single pressure to:
•Turn on screen.
•Lock screen.
•Return to a previous menu (Back).

Turn on and off
To turn on: Press and hold the multi-function button for 3 seconds.
To turn off: Press and hold the multi-function button for 3 seconds and then press and hold the touch screen button,
which will start increasing its size, until the watch turns off.

If one of the items is damaged or faulty, contact the place where you made the purchase. Use only approved
accessories, these may vary between countries and/or regions.

Setting up the Anda Watch 3
Get to know the functions that the Anda Watch has and learn to interact with them
Anda Watch overview
Register for the first time. The first step to connect with the Anda family is to create an account from the website:
https://web.anda.pe or from the mobile application for Android or iOS. Once your Anda account is created, you can log in from
any application, link the Anda Watch, list your contacts and start communicating with your loved ones.
Link your device: You need to link your device to your Anda account only one time before starting using your device. This can
be done through the mobile and web applications. To link your device, it is necessary to enter the QR code or device code
obtained from the Anda Watch during the registration process.
Once the Anda Watch is linked, you will be able to edit your profile, add contacts, send alerts, visual messages (drawings, emojis
and stickers), audio messages and access to games.
Manage your contacts. The watch’s user (the kid) can send messages to different Anda users (contacts). Parents or tutors can
manage their kid’s contacts through their mobile platforms.
Learn the alerts. The Anda Watch gives you the possibility of sending customized messages in a fast and easy way. The child
can use them messages in emergency situations an notify about his state and current location, all with a single click. In addition,
its built-in presence detector allows you to identify when your kid has removed the watch from his hand.
Start chatting. Send and receive drawings, stickers, emojis, audios and alerts. Express your creativity and have fun!
Start playing. The Anda Watch comes with two games pre-installed.
Stay calm: Set up safe zones. The Anda Watch allows you to get your child’s position at all times and in any place through its
built-in GPS. You can set up virtual zones (referring a geographic area) that you consider to be safe and the Anda Watch will
send you a notification advising if your child has come out to it.
Step 1: Register for the first time
The user must create an Anda account from any of the platforms by registering its data. There are 2 ways to do this: accessing
from the web portal https://web.anda.pe or from the Anda mobile application which can be downloaded from the Play Store or
App Store. (See figures 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3).

Once the Anda account has been created, there are 3 ways to log in: through your email account, your Google account or your
Facebook account.
When using your email account, you’ll be requested to fill out some basic information such as: name, last name, age, email and
phone number. In case you prefer to login by using your Google or Facebook account, you will be automatically logged in.
Step 2: Link the Anda Watch
Once the Anda Watched is turned on, it needs to be linked to the Anda account of the parent or tutor in charge.
Select the “Devices” tab from any of the platforms where you are located, then select the + icon to add a device and enter the
QR code or device code in the requested field.

From a mobile application:
To pair the watch, follow these steps:
Tap the button.
Scan the QR code or enter the device code (See figures 3.8 and 3.9).

Once you enter the code to the Anda account, it will be linked automatically.
Then, within the parent platform, you must complete the information of the child that will use the Anda Watch.
Upon completion of this process, a “Registration complete” confirmation will be displayed as shown in the figure. (See figure
3.10).
A welcome message will be shown to confirm that the Anda Watch was succesfully linked and it’s in sync (See figure 3.11).

Main Menu 4
Once the Anda Watch is linked to your Anda account, you are ready to access the main menu screen.
From here, 3 main functions are identified:
Information:
From the Anda Watch you can see information about the child. Edit this information from the parent platform.
Suggestion: include relevant information such as: blood type, allergies, diseases and contact phones, among others.
Symbols alert:
Anda knows how important it is to be communicated with your kid. For this reason, the Anda Watch has brief and easy to send
default messages, called Alerts. There are 4 types of alerts available.
Activity Menu:
Includes 4 interactive functions: chats, games, pairing and settings.
Main Menu information
Information
Includes relevant information from the child.
Alerts:
Send default messages or audio notes to
report an emergency.
List menu:
Includes functions such as: messages,
games, pairing and settings.
Date and time:
Access this data at a glance.
Connection network:
Shows the strenght of the WiFi signal.
Battery status:
Shows the battery level.
Notifications:
Shows the number of pending notifications in
the menu.

Information
Manage relevant child information in the Anda Watch. Consider the following:
Edit information
You can edit the information from your Anda account through the web or mobile platform (See Web or Mobile Application User
Manual).
Check information
1. Go the Main Menu screen (See figure 4.2).
2. Tap the icon.
3. Access the information (See figure 4.3).

Alert symbols
From the main menu screen, select the icon and learn how to use this function:
Introducing the Alert Symbols
The available alert messages can be used for different occasions, considering critical cases or brief communication, the Anda
Watch presents 4 types of symbols:
•Contact me : The parent or tutor should contact the child.
•I’m OK : Indicates the well-being of the child.
•Customized message: Can be a secret message between parent or tutor and the child.
•Emergency: An emergency has occurred! The device will record an audio message for 10 seconds. This message is
sent automatically to report about the situation.
Additional, all the 4 types of alerts send the device’s location to the parent
Contact me
To send the “Contact me”alert symbol:
From the alerts screen, the child can tap the icon or draw a triangle on the screen:
1. Tap or draw a triangle (See figures 4.4 and 4.5).

2. The device starts recording audio for upto 10 seconds (See figure 4.6).
3. The user can stop the audio recording in less than 10 seconds by pressing the icon. This action causes the device
to send the alert immediately.
4. Otherwise, once the 10 seconds recording is completed, the device automatically sends the alert without waiting for
confirmation.
5. The user can cancel the alert by tapping the icon, within the 10 seconds of audio recording.
6. The device will try to get its current location and send it to the parent or tutor. If the current location is not received, it
will send the latest location available (See figure 4.7).

I’m OK
Send the “I’m OK” alert symbol
From the alerts screen, the child can tap the icon or draw a circle on the screen:
1. Tap or draw a circle (See figures 4.4 and 4.8).
2. The device starts recording audio for upto 10 seconds (See figure 4.9).
3. The user can stop the audio recording in less than 10 seconds by pressing the icon. This action causes the device
to send the alert immediately.
4. Otherwise, once the 10 seconds recording is completed, the device automatically sends the alert without waiting for
confirmation.
5. The user can cancel the alert by tapping the icon, within the 10 seconds of audio recording.
6. The device will try to get its current location and send it to the parent or tutor. If the current location is not received, it
will send the latest location available (See figure 4.10).

Custom Message
Send the “Custom Message” alert symbol
You and your child can have a secret code. Use this custom message to communicate and alert.
1. Draw a square (See figures 4.4 and 4.11).
2. The device starts recording audio for upto 10 seconds (See figure 4.12).
3. The user can stop the audio recording in less than 10 seconds by pressing the icon. This action causes the device
to send the alert immediately.
4. Otherwise, once the 10 seconds recording is completed, the device automatically sends the alert without waiting for
confirmation.
5. The user can cancel the alert by tapping the icon, within the 10 seconds of audio recording.

Emergency Message
Send the “Emergency”alert symbol
The child can indicate that he or she is in an emergency:
1. Draw a stroke (See figures 4.4 and 4.14).
2. Starts recording automatically for 10 seconds, which will be sent directly to the parent or tutor (See figure 4.15). The
user can’t neither stop the audio recording nor cancel the alert.
3. The location where the alert symbol was sent is then taken (See figure 4.16).

Activity Menu
From the main menu screen, tap the icon.
Messages
Send and receive drawings, stickers, emojis, audios and alerts. Start chatting and express your creativity.
1. Go to the Activity Menu.
2. Select Messages (See figure 4.17).
Locate the person you want to talk with from your contacts list.
3. Select a contact (See figure 4.18).
