Under no circumstances must the appliance be placed immersed in water

Place the appliance on a flat, dry and heat-resistant surface.
Turn the temperature knob to “OFF” position.
Put the plug into the power supply.
Switch on the appliance by turning the switch knob to “MIN” position
and the temperature knob to the desired setting. The appliance cycle on
and off to maintain the setting temperature. The pilot light goes on when
