Quick Set-Up
Thank You for your purchase of the Antminer S9 13.5TH Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash Miner.
Here at Manic Miner we have checked and tested each unit. If you selected to have your unit set up
for you, look no further just plug in your miner and start earning coins. For everyone else just follow along
with the user manual. If you would like to watch a video on the set-up please visit

First thing to do is to setup your wallet. We recommend that you use either Bitcoin Core or
wallet.BTC.com, the most secure is to run Bitcoin Core but this means you must sync the blockchain
(download all transaction made) and runt he program each time you wish to withdraw funds.
Wallet.BTC.com is quicker yet can have vulnerabilities. Learn more at https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-
wallet.
Once you have a wallet address register for a pool account on https://www.antpool.com, then under
settings add a Sub-Account. Add you wallet address. If you are going to mine in Bitcoin use the BTC wallet
address, if Bitcoin Cash fill in BCH, and if you plan on switching or auto mining add an address for each. Then
you can choose your mining type on coin selection. Auto will automatically switch between both coins based
on network need. This can be changed at any time. Last choose PPS+ or PPLNS. We recommend PPS+. We do
not recommend SOLO unless you have 1000+ Units. We also recommend you lock your wallet addresses so
that they never can be changed. If in the future you wish to mine to a different address then create a new
sub account.
Once you have completed the set-up it is time to plug in your unit(s). Follow the instructions below
in the pages below. For your AP3+ PSU just plug in all the connectors and plug into the miners connectors. If
mining with AntPool you do not need to add the worker names online but rather on page 11 just add worker
name under Miner Configuration Worker. Remember use SubaccountName.WorkerName for example,
LoveManicMiner.Thor, The Sub-Account was setup using LoveManicMiner. The worker name will auto
register on your account when mining BTC but as of right now the BCH mining stats system is currently being
built as it is still new, but you still can see the mining speed on the dashboard and see the daily deposits in
your wallet.
That is it, let it run and make sure to keep the units clean and below 40C or 104F ambient room or
intake air. Also do not allow the intake air to get below 0C or below 32F as you will see a reduction of
efficiency and risk damaging the processors. Do not allow the processor to go above 80C even though it is
rated to 100C at the chip level. To see your temps login to the miner and go to Miner Status to see temps.
We do not recommend over or undeclocking the processors as this will void the warranty.
