Battery charge indicator
The ACS-100SO Programmable refrigeant scale allows
quick, efficient and automatic charging/recovery of
refrigerant from air conditioning or refrigerant systems.
The unit is portable and has a weight capacity of up to
220 lbs or 100kg. It includes 1/4”male flare and 1/2”ACM
fitting to allow connection to all standard charging ma-
nifolds and refrigerant cylinders.

7. Fail safe feature:
unit is designed with a fail safe feature that will close the valve in the event
of lost power due to low battery voltage or if the unit is inadvertently
turned off.
8. “FULL“ display when the weight exceeds the specified range.
1. Place the unit on a firm and level surface. The platform and control box
can be used in the case or they can be used outside of the case.
2. Remove the battery cover from the rear of the box by compressing the tab
at the base of the battery cover.
3. Insert(5)”AA” batteries.Replace the battery cover by aligning tabs and snap
back into place.
4. Turn the unit power on by pressing the button.
5. Select the unit of measure by pressing the button .(kg/lbs/oz)
6. Press the button to activate the backlight. Press the button again
to deactivate the backlight.
NOTE: TO prevent damage to the ACS-100SO do not leave dead batterise in
the control box. Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for an ext-
ended period of time.
CAUTION: If the platform is used in the case, make certain that nothing tou-
ches the case, controls and platform or false readings may occur.
1. Turn the unit on by pressing the button .
2. Choose the type of measurement by pressing the button.(KG/LBS/OZ)
The unit of measure can be changed at any time except when programming
a charge/recovery.
3. Press the button to remove last operation value.
4. Place the cylinder in the center of the platform. The gross weight will be
displayed.
5. When complete, remove the cylinder and press the button to turn the
unit off.
Charge/recovery programming
There are two charging types of operation. Charging according to a set
1. Pressing the button while in weighing mode, holds the current weight
value even you remove the weighing object unit the button is pressed
again.
2. In the process of charge and recovery, press the button, the recovery
and value will remain display when the refrigerant of cylinder used up or full
and then close the cylinder valve,reconnect the hose and open the valve
memory value or charging to a manually set value.
Charging to a set memory value
1. Turn the unit on by pressing the button. Unit will display the value of
the last operation when you not first time to use.
2. Place the cylinder on the scale before charging.Connect the cylinder valve
to the unit with appropriate charging hoses. After proper connection, slowly
open cylinder valve.
3. Press the button. The unit will display the value of the last operation
and a digit value will be flashing.
4. To change the value, press the button to get to the specific digit value
to change.
5. Press the or button to change the value. Press the button of
or more than two seconds, the value reads will be quickly fluctuated.
6. Press the button to store the programmed amount(0-99 codes)
7. To run the progrm, press the button. When the valve indicator
light which in the top left of the control turns. it means the valve is opened,
meanwhile the performance of charging and recovery is started. When the
program is completed, the valve will be closed automatically, the valve ind-
icator light will be turned off, then the unit will beep to notice the users.The
amount of refrigerant charged/recovered will remain displayed.
8. Press the button to go back to the weight status.
9. When operation is complete. disconnect the refrigerant hose. remove the
cylinder and turn off the unit.
Charging to a manually set value:
1. Turn the unit on by pressing the button.
2. Place the cylinder on the scale before charging.Connect the cylinder valve
to the unit with appropriate charging hoses. After proper connection, slowly
open cylinder valve.
3. Press the button.
4. To change the value, press the button to get to the specific digit value
to change.
5. Press the or button to change the value.
6. To run the progrm, press the button.

again. When you complete all the process, press the button to continue
the charge or recovery program.(The last value is the total value of two times
charge/ recovery program.)
1. Turn the unit on by pressing the button.
2. Follow steps 3 through 5 under “charging to a set memory value” instruc-
tion.
3. After press the button, There should be a “p xx” displayed on the face
of the control box. You can write down the value on the MEMORY VALUE
SHEET(1-99 codes) in the case.
4. To recall a stored program number, press the buttton while in the
weighing mode and enter the memory code number. Press the button
again.
5. Press the button to begin the charge/recovery operation.
6. To stop the charge/recovery operation, press the button.
1. Immediately stop all charge/recovery operation and remove the cylinder
if the specified range is exceeded and the unit displays”EULL” .
2. Change batteries when the battery indicator flashes in the top right-hand
corner of the display.
3. Remove batteries form unit if the unit will not be used for a long time.
4. Clean filters by:
Press the button to turn unit on.
Press the button and enter an amount, press again.
Press the button to open the valve.
Connect the source of clean, dry shop or compressed air to the “OUTLET”
port (right port)POINT:Ensure the “INLET” port (left port) is pointed away
form any person in the area.
Turn the air source on and allow the air to run backwards through the
valve for several seconds.
