Installation & Mounting Instructions
Arbor Mounting System
1. Read instructions carefully before assembling.
2. Identify each component from material list.

Ground Mount
Materials Include:
4 Galvanized Steel Ground Augers
4 Plastic Mounting Sleeves
4 Bolts & Wing Nuts
4 White Stainless Screws
1 Steel Turning Rod
Refer to your arbor instructions
for exact dimensions between
posts. Measure out and mark on
the ground each post location.
Double check your spacing
before continuing.
Turn the auger using the turning
rod and apply even downward
pressure. For dry or hard ground,
use water to soften the ground
first.
As you turn the auger into the
ground, check with your level
to ensure it is straight. Do this
at least twice before you have
completely installed the mount.
Surface Mount
Materials Include:
4 Galvanized Steel Surface Mounts
4 Plastic Mounting Sleeves
4 Bolts & Wing Nuts
4 White Stainless Screws
Additional Hardware Required:
16 1/4” (6 mm) x 2 3/4” (70 mm) Cement Screws with
Drill Bit (3/16” (4.7 mm) , Minimum 3” (76 mm) Long)

Once the ground stop (see sketch
3 below) is at ground level, the
mount is completely installed.
Slide the plastic sleeve over the
steel mount until the bottom rests
on the ground stop.
Line up the holes in the plastic
sleeve and steel mount. Take a
bolt and wing nut (included) and
insert it into the hole until it is
firmly in place. Repeat steps 2
to 5 for the remaining mounts.
Once you have installed and
verified the orientation of each
mount, set your arbor posts onto
the mounts and push down to
ground level. Using one of the
screws provided, secure the
bottom of each post to the
mounts as shown.

1. For installation of the surface mounts on concrete, use drill bit (not provided) to drill pilot holes.
Fasten each mount in place using cement screws (not included).
2. For installation of the surface mounts on wood or a similar surface, use wood screws (not included).
