Introduzione
Le presenti istruzioni hanno lo scopo di supportare l’utilizzatore
nell’uso e nella manutenzione corretti del nostro prodotto, secon-
do le possibilità operative per cui è stato progettato. Esse si appli-
cano ai nostri scaldacaffè, sia a combustibile solido che elettrici, e
ai nostri samovar, elettrici.
Il codice del prodotto acquistato è individuabile sull’etichetta po-
sta sulla confezione ed è così costituito:
A) Codice modello
B) Alimentazione
C) Capacità
Nel presente manuale si farà riferimento ai prodotti in base al mo-
dello, nella modalità indicata in Tabella 1, differenziando le istruzioni
in base al tipo di alimentazione, a combustibile (A) o elettrica (E e U).
Le presenti istruzioni contengono importanti avvertenze sull’im-
piegosicuro,conformeedeconomicodel prodotto. La loro osser-
vanza contribuisce ad evitare pericoli, ridurre i costidi riparazione
e conservare il prodotto nella sua originale bellezza e funzionalità.
Conservare e rendere disponibile il manuale sul luogo d’impiego
del prodotto per consentirne la consultazione a chi lo utilizza e alle
persone incaricate per la pulizia, per la manutenzione ordinaria,
per la riparazione e per il trasporto.
Garantire la sicurezza nell’utilizzo dei nostri prodotti è della mas-

Introduction
These instructions are to help users correctly operate and look
after our product, according to its intended purpose. The instruc-
tions cover our coffee urns, with chafing fuel or electric heating,
and our electric samovars.
The number of the purchased product is located on the package
label and is identifiable as follows:
A) Model number
B) Heat type
C) Capacity
The products in this manual will be referred to by model, as speci-
fied in Table 1. Separate instructions are provided on the basis of
the different heat types: chafing fuel (A) or electricity (E and U).
These instructions contain important warnings about the safe,
compliant and economical use of the product. Following these
instructions will help to avoid hazards, keep repair costs down
and ensure that the product continues to be attractive and ope-
rational.
Store the manual where the product is used for easy reference
for operators and whomever is responsible for normal care and
cleaning, servicing, repairs and transport.
Product safety is very important to Sambonet Paderno Industrie.
Still, while our product comes with all the necessary safety devi-
ces, it is essential to carefully read these instructions and follow
them strictly to avoid injury or accidental damage.

Norme di sicurezza
A) L’apparecchio è idoneo al riscaldamento di acqua, tè, caffè e
liquidi analoghi, pertanto non utilizzare per riscaldare latte o liqui-
di schiumosi né per liquidi ad alta densità come minestre, zuppe
o salse.
B) L’utilizzo del prodotto è consentito esclusivamente a persone
adulte e formate all’uso.
C) Riempire gli scaldacaffè e i samovar non oltre 5 cm dal bordo,
per evitare fuoriuscite durante l’ebollizione.
D) Non accendere mai i fornelli o le piastre elettriche quando il
contenitore è vuoto.
E) I prodotti non devono mai essere messi a diretto contatto con
fonti di calore diverse dai riscaldatori forniti congiuntamente e per
i quali sono predisposti.
F) Tenere il prodotto fuori dalla portata dei bambini. In loro pre-
senza, prestare particolare attenzione al pericolo di ustione nei
pressi del prodotto e a quello di soffocamento riguardo al mate-
riale da imballo.
G) Non lasciare l’apparecchio incustodito quando è acceso; non
collocarlo in prossimità di fonti di caloreo vicino a materiali infiam-
mabili.
H) Non toccare le maniglie né il corpo dell’apparecchio durante il
funzionamento perché questi diventano bollenti.
I) Gli scaldacaffè e i samovar vanno posizionati su superfici oriz-
zontali e stabili che resistano al calore e reggano il peso del pro-
dotto pieno. Non posizionare su superfici idrosensibili per evitare
che fuoriuscite involontarie rechino danno alla superficie
J) Nell’operazione di rabbocco munirsi di presina per l’apertura
del coperchio.
K) Nel caso dei Samovar, posizionare la caffettiera prima che l’ac-
qua giunga ad ebollizione.
L) Nel caso dei Samovar, prestare attenzione alla fuoriuscita di va-
pore durante la rimozione della caffettiera
In particolare, per i prodotti elettrici:
M) Non immergere mai la base riscaldante in acqua o in altre so-
stanze liquide.
N) Verificare che la tensione indicata sull’apparecchio corrispon-
da a quella della rete elettrica utilizzata prima di collegare il pro-
dotto alla rete elettrica. Si raccomanda che questa sia dotata di
regolare messa a terra.
Avvertenze
Prima di effettuare qualunque operazione sul prodotto controlla-
re sempre che:
* la spina che porta corrente alle piastre elettriche o resistenze sia
staccata oppure che i fornelli siano spenti, a seconda del modello
utilizzato.
* il prodotto si sia completamente raffreddato (attendere almeno
un’ora dall’ultimo utilizzo).
La manutenzione e la riparazione delle parti elettriche è consen-
tita solamente a personale qualificato. La manomissione di qua-
lunque componente, l’uso improprio del prodotto o l’utilizzo di ri-
cambi non originali comporta rischi per la sicurezza dell’operatore
e per la funzionalità del prodotto.
Warning
Prior to any operation, always make sure that:
* power is disconnected at the power source or the flame of the
chafing fuel source is extinguished (depending on the model).
* the product has completely cooled down (this will take at least
one hour after use)
Maintenance and repairs of electric parts must only be perfor-
med by qualified personnel. Tampering with any component, im-
proper use of the product or using non-original spare parts poses
a risk to operator safety and to product performance.
Safety instructions
A) This appliance is designed to keep water, tea, coffee and other
similar beverages hot; do not use it to for milk or frothy liquids or
thick liquids such as soups or sauces.
B) The product must only be used by adequately trained adults.
C) Fill the coffee urns and samovars up to no more than 5 cm
from the top to make sure the contents do not boil over.
D) Never switch on the electric heating units or ignite the chafing
fuel element when the urn is empty.
E) The products must never come into contact with heat sources
other than the heating elements supplied and for which they are
designed.
F) Keep the product out of reach of children. When children are
in the vicinity, supervise closely due to the possible danger of bur-
ning from touching the appliance, and suffocation from the pro-
duct packaging.
G) Never leave the product unattended while it is on; keep it
away from sources of heat or flammable materials.
H) Do not touch the handles or body while the appliance is ope-
rating because they become very hot.
I) Set coffee urns and samovars on flat, stable, heat-resistant sur-
faces that will bear the weight of the product when it is full. Do not
place on water-sensitive surfaces that could be damaged if the
contents accidentally spill on them.
J) When topping up the contents, remove the lid with gloves,
mitts or potholders.
K) When using the Samovars, position the coffeepot before the
water boils.
L) When using the Samovars, keep clear when removing the cof-
feepot to avoid being scalded by steam.
In particular, for the electric products:
M) Never immerse the heating base in water or other liquids.
N) Make sure the voltage matches the electricity supply outlet
before plugging in (refer to the product identification label). Plug
into properly earthed power outlets.
O) Make sure the plug is easy to access so it can be unplugged
quickly in an emergency.
P) Always pull on the plug (not on the cord) when unplugging the
heating base from the power supply. Never leave the cord han-
ging over sharp edges or on hot surfaces. Keep it away from the

O) Verificare che la spina sia facilmente raggiungibile per discon-
netterla in caso di emergenza
P) Per disconnettere la base riscaldante dalla rete a?errare esclu-
sivamente la spina di alimentazione (e non il cavo). Il cavo non
deve mai essere lasciato sospeso su spigoli a?lati o su superfici
calde e non deve entrare in contatto con l’apparecchio bollente
per evitarne il danneggiamento.
Q) Non lasciare pendere il cavo elettrico per evitare di incespicare.
R) In caso di guasto non tentare mai di riparare l’apparecchio per-
sonalmente ma rivolgetevi al servizio assistenza.
S) Staccare la spina dell’alimentazione nei seguenti casi:
A. Apparecchio non in uso
B. Guasto durante l’utilizzo
C. Pulizia/manutenzione ordinaria

tanglement.
R) If the appliance malfunctions, contact customer support: ne-
ver attempt to repair it yourself.

Primo utilizzo
Controllare l’assenza di materiali di imballaggio sia all’esterno che
all’interno del prodotto. Pulire il prodotto e i suoi componenti per
eliminare residui di produzione.
A. Scaldacaffè ASIA e ASIA 2000 a combustibile solido
Il prodotto viene fornito con un set porta combustibile incluso (Fig 5)
1) Posizionare lo scaldacaffè su una superficie piana
2) Appoggiare il set combustibile solido sul piano al di sotto del
contenitore

B. Scaldacaffè ASIA e ASIA 2000 a piastra elettrica
Il prodotto viene fornito con un set piastra elettrica incluso. Per il
montaggio è necessaria una chiave da 8 mm. (Fig 8)
1) Posizionare lo scaldacaffè capovolto su una superficie piana
2) Appoggiare l’alimentazione elettrica sul fondo dello scaldacaf-
fè, con la parte riscaldante a contatto con il fondo, prestando at-
tenzione a che il cavo esca dal lato opposto al rubinetto (A)
3) Posizionare la staffa fornita facendo passare i perni di saldatura
attraverso i fori (B) e avvitare con decisione i due dadi M5 forniti
usando la chiave da 8 mm (C)
B. ASIA and ASIA 2000 coffee urn with electric heating unit
The product is supplied with an electric heating unit set included.
An 8-mm spanner is needed for assembly. (Fig 8)
1) Turn the coffee urn over and place it on a flat surface
2) Position the electric heating unit underneath the coffee urn,
making sure the heating element is in contact with the base and
the cord is on the opposite side of the faucet (A)
3) Position the bracket supplied by inserting the bolts through the
holes (B); use the 8-mm spanner to tightly screw on the two M5
nuts supplied (C)
First use
Remove all outer and inner packaging material.
Clean the product and its parts to remove any production residue.
A. ASIA and ASIA 2000 coffee urn with chafing fuel
The product is supplied with a chafing fuel holder set (Fig5)
1) Place the coffee urn on a flat surface
2) Position the chafing fuel set on the tray below the urn body

Istruzioni d’uso
A. Scaldacaffè ASIA o ASIA 2000
1) Preriscaldare il corpo scaldacaffè introducendo acqua calda per
qualche minuto
2) Scaricare l’acqua di preriscaldo ed introdurre caffè, tè o altre
bevande simili già calde
3) Chiudere il coperchio del contenitore
4) Accendere l’alimentazione:
a. Innescare il combustibile solide tramite fiamma oppure
b. Attaccare la spina della piastra elettrica
5) Posizionare la manopola del rubinetto con la parte arrotondata
verso l’esterno, come mostrato in figura, ed erogare il liquido facen-
do leva sulla manopola del rubinetto nella direzione indicata in Fig. 14

Instructions
A. ASIA or ASIA 2000 Coffee Urn
1) Pour boiling water into the coffee urn body and leave it for a few
minutes to warm it up
2) Remove the hot water and add hot coffee, tea or other similar
beverages
3) Put the lid on the urn body
4) Switch on the heat source:
a. Ignite the chafing fuel flame or
b. Plug in the electric heating unit
6) Per svuotare completamente lo scaldacaffè, erogare il liquido
ruotando la leva del rubinetto di 180°, in modo da avere la parte
angolare verso l’esterno, e bloccandola come mostrato in figura 15
5) Position the faucet lever with the rounded part facing
outwards, as shown and dispense the liquid by pressing down on
the lever in the direction indicated in Fig. 14
6) To completely empty the coffee urn, dispense the liquid, rota-
ting the faucet lever 180° so the straight part is facing outwards,
and locking it in place as shown in Figure 15

7) Per spegnere completamente lo scaldacaffè
a. Spegnere la fiamma del combustibile solido oppure
b. Staccare la spina della piastra

a. Extinguish the chafing fuel flame or
b. Unplug in the electric heating unit
B. Scaldacaffè ASIA 2000 ELETTRICO
1) Preriscaldare il corpo scaldacaffè introducendo acqua calda
per qualche minuto
2) Scaricare l’acqua di preriscaldo ed introdurre caffè, tè o altre
bevande simili già calde
3) Chiudere il coperchio del contenitore
4) Attaccare la spina della base elettrica
5) Girare in senso orario la manopola del termostato per accende-
re e regolare il riscaldamento. Quando il prodotto è in funzione, la
spia a destra del termostato è accesa
6)Posizionare la manopola del rubinetto con la parte arrotondata
verso l’esterno, come mostrato in figura, ed erogare il liquido facen-
do leva sulla manopola del rubinetto nella direzione indicata in Fig. 14
7)Per svuotare completamente lo scaldacaffè, erogare il liquido
ruotando la leva del rubinetto di 180°, in modo da avere la parte
angolare verso l’esterno, e bloccandola come mostrato in figura 15
8)Per spegnere completamente lo scaldacaffè girare la manopo-
la in senso antiorario fino a posizione ‘0’ (la spia rossa si spegne)
come in Fig. 16
B. ASIA 2000 Coffee Urn (ELECTRIC)
1) Pour boiling water into the coffee urn body and leave it for a few
minutes to warm it up
2) Remove the hot water and add hot coffee, tea or other similar
beverages
3) Put the lid on the urn body
4) Plug in the electric base
5) Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to switch the coffee urn
on and control heat. When the indicator light to the right of the
thermostat is on, the product is operating
6) Position the faucet lever with the rounded part facing
outwards, as shown and dispense the liquid by pressing down on
the lever in the direction indicated in Fig. 14
7) To completely empty the coffee urn, dispense the liquid, rota-
ting the faucet lever 180° so the straight part is facing outwards,
and locking it in place as shown in Figure 15
8) To completely switch off the coffee heater, turn the knob
counterclockwise to position ‘0’ (the red light goes out) as in Fig. 16.

C. Samovar ASIA 2000 ELETTRICO
1) Preriscaldare il corpo samovar introducendo acqua calda per
qualche minuto
2) Scaricare l’acqua di preriscaldo ed introdurre caffè, tè o altre
bevande simili
3) Chiudere il coperchio del contenitore e posizionare la griglia sul
coperchio
4) Posizionare la caffettiera sulla griglia
5) Attaccare la spina della base elettrica
6) Girare in senso orario la manopola del termostato per accende-
re e regolare il riscaldamento. Quando il prodotto è in funzione, la
spia a destra del termostato è accesa
7) Erogare il liquido facendo leva sulla manopola del rubinetto
nella direzione indicata in Fig. 14
8) Per spegnere completamente lo scaldacaffè girare la manopo-
la in senso antiorario fino a posizione ‘0’ (la spia rossa si spegne)
come in Fig. 16
9) Per una maggiore sicurezza, dopo l’uso estrarre la spina dalla
presa
Pulizia e Manutenzione
È necessario che ognuna delle operazioni elencate sia effettuata
da personale competente, in particolare:
* Meccanico (sufficiente conoscenza di meccanica applicata, abi-
litazione derivante da scuola professionale nell’ambito meccani-
co);
* Elettricista (operaio specializzato ed abilitato ad operare nell’im-
piantistica elettrica civile ed industriale);
* Operatore generico - dove non specificato (operaio qualificato,
con esperienza nell’utilizzo dei prodotti, nella loro pulizia e manu-
tenzione ordinaria).
A. Pulizia
Per eseguire la corretta pulizia del prodotto:
A) Staccare la spina se ad alimentazione elettrica
B) Far raffreddare il corpo e svuotarlo
C) Pulire il contenitore con un panno umido
D) Risciacquare attentamente
E) Non mettere mai l’apparecchio sotto getti d’acqua diretti
B. Manutenzione Corpo
Per eseguire la corretta manutenzione del prodotto:
A) Staccare la spina se ad alimentazione elettrica
B) Far raffreddare il corpo e svuotarlo
C) Smontare il corpo e la base riscaldante
a. ASIA: Procedere in modo inverso a quanto indicato nel ca-
pitolo 5.B, svitando i dadi e sganciando la base elettrica dalla
base, quindi sollevare il contenitore separandolo dalla base.
b. ASIA 2000: Procedere in modo inverso a quanto indicato nel

C. ASIA 2000 Samovar (ELECTRIC)
1) Pour boiling water into the samovar body and leave it for a few
minutes to warm it up
2) Remove the hot water and add coffee, tea or other similar be-
verages
3) Put the lid on the urn body and position the grille on the lid
4) Place the coffeepot on the grille
5) Plug in the electric base
6) Turn the thermostat clockwise to switch the coffee urn on and
control heat. When the indicator light to the right of the thermo-
stat is on, the product is operating
7) Dispense the liquid by pressing the faucet lever in the direction
shown in Fig. 14
8) To switch off the coffee urn, turn the thermostat counter-
clockwise to ‘0’ (the red indicator light will go out) as shown in Fig.

9) As an added safety precaution, unplug the device after use
Cleaning and Maintenance
Each of the following operations must be carried out by qualified
personnel, in particular:
* Mechanic (knowledge of applied mechanics, qualification from
a vocational school in the mechanical field);
* Electrician (skilled worker qualified to work in civil and industrial
electrical systems engineering);
* General operator - where not specified (skilled worker with ex-
perience in use, cleaning and ordinary maintenance of the pro-
ducts).
A. Cleaning
To clean the product correctly:
A) Unplug the appliance if it uses electricity
B) Let the urn body cool down and empty it
C) Wipe out the container with a damp cloth
D) Carefully rinse
E) Never wash the appliance under running water

To maintain the product correctly:
A) Unplug the appliance if it uses electricity

C) Disassemble the urn body and heating base
a. ASIA: Reverse the procedure specified in section 5.B. Unscrew
the nuts and detach the electric heating unit from the base, then
lift the container off the base.
b. ASIA 2000: Reverse the procedure specified in section 5.B.
Unscrew the nuts and detach the electric heating unit from the
base, then unscrew the support legs using a 5-mm Allen key (See
Table 3) and lift the container off the base.
c. ASIA 2000 (ELECTRIC): Hold the base in place and rotate the

C. Manutenzione Rubinetto
In figura 17 sono mostrati i componenti dei rubinetti utilizzati su
tutti i modelli. Essi possono differenziare esclusivamente in base
al materiale della manopola che può essere in ottone cromato/
argentato o in plastica.
Per eseguire la corretta manutenzione del prodotto:
A) Svitare il dado
B) Estrarre la parte superiore
C) Estrarre la guarnizione
D) Pulire sotto acqua corrente tiepida OPPURE
E) Sostituire con una nuova guarnizione (disponibile tra i ricambi)
D. Accorgimenti
Per mantenere la funzionalità del prodotto:
A) Non immergere mai la base riscaldante nell’acqua ma pulirla
con un panno inumidito.
B) In base alla frequenza di utilizzo e alla qualità dell’acqua si può
rendere necessario rimuovere il calcare dal contenitore median-
te opportuno trattamento anticalcare (ogni 1/2 settimane in base
alla frequenza di utilizzo)
C) Non utilizzare sostanze che potrebbero aggredire le parti in
plastica o la superficie metallica.

D) When the body is separated from the base it can be sterilised

C. Faucet maintenance
Figure 17 shows the parts of the faucets used on all models. The
only difference between the faucets is the material used for the
lever, which may be chrome- or silver-plated brass or plastic.
To maintain the product correctly:
A) Unscrew bonnet
B) Remove faucet upper
C) Remove seat cup
D) Wash under warm running water OR
E) Replace seat cup with a new one (available in spare parts)
D. Precautions
To keep the product operational:
A) Never immerse the heating base in water; always clean it with
a damp cloth only.
B) Depending on how often it is used and on the quality of the
water, it may be necessary to descale the container using an ap-
propriate descaling treatment (every 1-2 weeks depending on
how often it is used)
C) Do not use substances that could attack the plastic parts or
the metal surface.

Pulizia dei diversi Materiali
Legno
Utilizzare un panno inumidito con acqua ed ammoniaca. Asciu-
gare subito dopo. Non utilizzare solventi, alcool o benzine. Non
utilizzare prodotti abrasivi, detersivi o chimici eccessivamente ag-
gressivi.
Acciaio Inox
Lavare subito dopo l’uso con acqua e sapone neutro (eventuali
detersivi ammessi sono quelli non clorurati), risciacquare con ac-
qua tiepida e asciugare accuratamente subito dopo, onde evitare
l’eventuale formazione di macchie dovute al calcare contenuto
nell’acqua. Evitare i detersivi sintetici a base di cloro o prodotti co-
munque candeggianti. Evitare l’uso di pomice, pagliette d’acciaio
e polveri abrasive.
Argento
L’argento è portato a solforarsi in presenza d’aria, assumendo una
colorazione scura più o meno uniforme. Per ridare all’argento il
suo aspetto originale utilizzare i prodotti appositamente prepara-
ti da aziende qualificate ed in vendita nei migliori negozi o da noi
forniti. Evitare nel modo più assoluto l’uso di spugnette abrasive
metalliche o sintetiche, polveri o creme abrasive, prodotti acidi,
ecc. Residui di cibo (acido, limone, aceto, salse a base di pomo-
doro…) e di prodotti chimici causano la corrosione. Mantenere
quindi pulite le superfici argentate rimuovendo immediatamente
eventuali residui risciacquando e asciugando accuratamente con
panni morbidi.
Ottone
Utilizzare i prodotti appositamente preparati da aziende qualifica-
te ed in vendita nei migliori negozi. Evitare nel modo più assoluto
l’uso di spugnette metalliche e sintetiche, polveri o paste abrasive,
ecc.
Policarbonato
Utilizzare un panno morbido inumidito con acqua ed ammoniaca
o sapone, risciacquare abbondantemente con acqua ed asciu-
gare con cura. Non utilizzare solventi, benzine, alcool o prodotti
abrasivi.
PVD
Utilizzare acqua con detersivo a pH neutro (pH =7), evitando pro-
dotti acidi. Risciacquare sempre abbondantemente ed asciugare
bene con un panno pulito e morbido. Non utilizzare pagliette in
acciaio o spugnette abrasive. Evitare il contatto prolungato con
prodotti alimentari acidi. Per il ripristino degli articoli con macchie
di calcare è possibile impiegare uno dei prodotti specifici disponi-
bili in commercio opportunamente diluito con l’acqua.
Cleaning of the different materials
Wood
Use a cloth dampened with water and ammonia. Dry immedia-
tely. Never use solvents, spirits or benzene. Never use abrasives,
detergents or aggressive chemicals.
Stainless steel
Wash with water and a neutral soap immediately after use (non-
chlorinated detergents can be used, if necessary). Rinse with
warm water and dry thoroughly immediately to prevent marks
caused by scale in the water. Avoid chlorine-based synthetic de-
tergents and any kind of bleach. Avoid the use of pumice, steel
wool and abrasive powders.
Silver
When silver is exposed to air, it reacts with sulphur present in the
atmosphere and forms a dark, uneven layer of silver sulphide on
the surface. To return the silver to its original appearance, use
specific products made by specialist companies and sold in lea-
ding stores or supplied by us. Avoid all use of metal or synthetic
abrasive sponges, abrasive powders or creams, acid-based pro-
ducts etc.
Acidic foods (lemon, vinegar, tomato-based sauces...) and che-
micals cause corrosion. Keep silver-plated surfaces clean by im-
mediately removing any food particles, then rinsing and drying
thoroughly with soft cloths.
Brass
Use specific products made by specialist companies and sold in
leading stores. Avoid all use of metal or synthetic sponges, abra-
sive powders or creams etc.
Polycarbonate
Use a cloth dampened with water and ammonia. Rinse carefully
with plenty of water and dry thoroughly. Do not use solvents, ben-
zene, spirits or abrasive products.
PVD
Use neutral dishwashing liquid (pH = 7) in water. Avoid acidic pro-
ducts. Rinse thoroughly and dry carefully with a clean, soft cloth.
Do not use steel wool or abrasive sponges. Avoid prolonged con-
tact with acid-based foods. Specific products diluted with water
can be used to remove limescale from items.
