OPERATING & MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS COFFEE URN AND SAMOVAR
Norme di sicurezza
A) L’apparecchio è idoneo al riscaldamento di acqua, tè, caffè e
liquidi analoghi, pertanto non utilizzare per riscaldare latte o liqui-
di schiumosi né per liquidi ad alta densità come minestre, zuppe
o salse.
B) L’utilizzo del prodotto è consentito esclusivamente a persone
adulte e formate all’uso.
C) Riempire gli scaldacaffè e i samovar non oltre 5 cm dal bordo,
per evitare fuoriuscite durante l’ebollizione.
D) Non accendere mai i fornelli o le piastre elettriche quando il
contenitore è vuoto.
E) I prodotti non devono mai essere messi a diretto contatto con
fonti di calore diverse dai riscaldatori forniti congiuntamente e per
i quali sono predisposti.
F) Tenere il prodotto fuori dalla portata dei bambini. In loro pre-
senza, prestare particolare attenzione al pericolo di ustione nei
pressi del prodotto e a quello di soffocamento riguardo al mate-
riale da imballo.
G) Non lasciare l’apparecchio incustodito quando è acceso; non
collocarlo in prossimità di fonti di caloreo vicino a materiali infiam-
mabili.
H) Non toccare le maniglie né il corpo dell’apparecchio durante il
funzionamento perché questi diventano bollenti.
I) Gli scaldacaffè e i samovar vanno posizionati su superfici oriz-
zontali e stabili che resistano al calore e reggano il peso del pro-
dotto pieno. Non posizionare su superfici idrosensibili per evitare
che fuoriuscite involontarie rechino danno alla superficie
J) Nell’operazione di rabbocco munirsi di presina per l’apertura
del coperchio.
K) Nel caso dei Samovar, posizionare la caffettiera prima che l’ac-
qua giunga ad ebollizione.
L) Nel caso dei Samovar, prestare attenzione alla fuoriuscita di va-
pore durante la rimozione della caffettiera
In particolare, per i prodotti elettrici:
M) Non immergere mai la base riscaldante in acqua o in altre so-
stanze liquide.
N) Verificare che la tensione indicata sull’apparecchio corrispon-
da a quella della rete elettrica utilizzata prima di collegare il pro-
dotto alla rete elettrica. Si raccomanda che questa sia dotata di
regolare messa a terra.
Avvertenze
Prima di effettuare qualunque operazione sul prodotto controlla-
re sempre che:
* la spina che porta corrente alle piastre elettriche o resistenze sia
staccata oppure che i fornelli siano spenti, a seconda del modello
utilizzato.
* il prodotto si sia completamente raffreddato (attendere almeno
un’ora dall’ultimo utilizzo).
La manutenzione e la riparazione delle parti elettriche è consen-
tita solamente a personale qualificato. La manomissione di qua-
lunque componente, l’uso improprio del prodotto o l’utilizzo di ri-
cambi non originali comporta rischi per la sicurezza dell’operatore
e per la funzionalità del prodotto.
Warning
Prior to any operation, always make sure that:
* power is disconnected at the power source or the flame of the
chafing fuel source is extinguished (depending on the model).
* the product has completely cooled down (this will take at least
one hour after use)
Maintenance and repairs of electric parts must only be perfor-
med by qualified personnel. Tampering with any component, im-
proper use of the product or using non-original spare parts poses
a risk to operator safety and to product performance.
Safety instructions
A) This appliance is designed to keep water, tea, coffee and other
similar beverages hot; do not use it to for milk or frothy liquids or
thick liquids such as soups or sauces.
B) The product must only be used by adequately trained adults.
C) Fill the coffee urns and samovars up to no more than 5 cm
from the top to make sure the contents do not boil over.
D) Never switch on the electric heating units or ignite the chafing
fuel element when the urn is empty.
E) The products must never come into contact with heat sources
other than the heating elements supplied and for which they are
designed.
F) Keep the product out of reach of children. When children are
in the vicinity, supervise closely due to the possible danger of bur-
ning from touching the appliance, and suffocation from the pro-
duct packaging.
G) Never leave the product unattended while it is on; keep it
away from sources of heat or flammable materials.
H) Do not touch the handles or body while the appliance is ope-
rating because they become very hot.
I) Set coffee urns and samovars on flat, stable, heat-resistant sur-
faces that will bear the weight of the product when it is full. Do not
place on water-sensitive surfaces that could be damaged if the
contents accidentally spill on them.
J) When topping up the contents, remove the lid with gloves,
mitts or potholders.
K) When using the Samovars, position the coffeepot before the
water boils.
L) When using the Samovars, keep clear when removing the cof-
feepot to avoid being scalded by steam.
In particular, for the electric products:
M) Never immerse the heating base in water or other liquids.
N) Make sure the voltage matches the electricity supply outlet
before plugging in (refer to the product identification label). Plug
into properly earthed power outlets.
O) Make sure the plug is easy to access so it can be unplugged
quickly in an emergency.
P) Always pull on the plug (not on the cord) when unplugging the
heating base from the power supply. Never leave the cord han-
ging over sharp edges or on hot surfaces. Keep it away from the
