1.Safety instructions
1.1 Explanation of the symbols

1.2 General instructions
•Do not use any other means other than the ones recommended by the manufacturer to
speed up the cleaning or defrosting process
•Only use the device in rooms that are free from permanent sources of ignition (e.g. open
flame, switched-on gas appliances or electric heating)
•Do not pierce or burn.
•Note that refrigerants are odourless.
•Install, operate and store the device only in rooms with an area of at least 8 m² (AR-HE-
PAC7KW) / 12 m² (AR-HE-PAC9KW).
•Make sure the air influx and outflux are free from obstruction.
•The device must be stored in a well-ventilated area. The size of the storage room should
correspond to the room size specified for the operation.
•Any person working on a refrigerant circuit must have a certificate of competence from an
industry-accredited body that demonstrates its competence in the safe handling of
refrigerants using a procedure known in the industry.
•Service work may only be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. If
additional persons are required for the maintenance and repair work, the person trained in
the handling of flammable refrigerants must constantly supervise the work.
•All operations involving special safety measures may only be performed by knowledgeable
persons.
Remarks
•The air conditioning is only suitable for indoor use, and is not suitable for other applications.
•Follow local grid interconnection rules while installing the air conditioning and ensure that it
is properly grounded. If you have any question on electrical installation, follow the
instructions of the manufacturer, and if necessary, ask a professional electrician to install it.
•Place the machine in a flat and dry place and keep a distance of above 50cm between the
machine and the surrounding objects or walls.
•After the air conditioning is installed, ensure that the power plug is intact and firmly plugged
into the power outlet, and place the power cord orderly to prevent someone from being
tripped or pulling out the plug.
•Do not put any object into the air inlet and outlet of the air conditioning. Keep the air inlet
and outlet free from obstructions.
•When drainage pipes are installed, ensure that the drainage pipes are properly connected,
and are not distorted or bended.
•While adjusting the upper and lower wind-guide strips of the air outlet, pluck it with hands
gently to avoid damaging wind-guide strips.
•When moving the machine, make sure that it is in an upright position.
•The machine should stay away from gasoline, flammable gas, stoves and other heat sources.
•Don't disassemble, overhaul and modify the machine arbitrarily, otherwise it will cause a
machine malfunction or even bring harm to persons and properties. To avoid danger, if a
machine failure occurs, ask the manufacturer or professionals to repair it.
•Do not install and use the air conditioning in the bathroom or other humid environments.
•Do not pull the plug to turn off the machine.
This product must not be disposed of with household waste!

•Do not place cups or other objects on the body to prevent water or other liquids from spilling
into the air conditioning.
•Do not use insecticide sprays or other flammable substances near the air conditioning.
•Do not wipe or wash the air conditioning with chemical solvents such as gasoline and alcohol.
When you need to clean the air conditioning, you must disconnect the power supply, and
clean it with a half-wet soft cloth. If the machine is really dirty, scrub with a mild detergent.
•The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.
•If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
•The appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.
Important notes
The best operating ambient temperature for cooling is 17-35 ° C, and the optimum ambient
temperature for heating is 8-25 ° C.
•Fuse Parameter: φ5.0x20mm 3.15A,250Vac.
•The appliance is filled with flammable gas R290, the maximum charge of refrigerant is 160g
(for AR-HE-PAC7KW) and 240g for (AR-HE-PAC9KW). The GWP value of R290 refrigerant is 3.
•Disposal, maintenance and repair work of the refrigerant circuit shall only be carried out in
accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and by persons who possess a certificate
of qualification.

4.1 Buttons

TIMER BUTTON
Program the time from 1 hour to 24 hours for the unit to turn
ON or OFF. When a TIME DELAY is programmed, the Timer
indicator light (A1) will illuminate.
While the unit is operating:
1. Press the TIMER button.
2. Press the UP/DOWN arrow buttons to select the number of hours you want the unit
to continue to operate before turning off.
Note: wait approximately 5 seconds for the Turn-Off time to be saved.
While the unit is off:
1. Press the TIMER button.
2. Press the UP/DOWN arrow buttons to select the number of hours you want the unit
to continue to operate before turning on.
Note: wait approximately 5 seconds for the Turn-On time to be saved.
To clean the timer: press the TIMER button once, the hours remaining will flash, press
the TIMER button again and the timer will be cancelled.

The fan speed can be adjusted from Low speed to High speed
when the unit is either in COOL or FAN mode.
NOTE: the fan speed CANNOT be adjusted when the unit is in DEHUM mode.

To set the temperature:
The temperature can be set between 17℃and 30℃when the

1. Press the MODE button until the COOL mode is selected.
2. Press the UP ARROW or DOWN ARROW buttons to select the
temperature.
Note: The temperature cannot be set when the air conditioner is in wither FAN or
DEHUM mode.

5.Scope of delivery
6.Battery installation
•Press and glide the battery cover on the back of the remote control to remove the cover. You
may remove any empty batteries.
•Insert two new alkaline AAA batteries into the battery compartment. Please pay attention to
the proper polarity.
•Reattach the battery cover and ensure that the locking
tab clicks into place.
Important notes
•Use alkaline batteries only. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
•When replace batteries, always replace both batteries with new batteries, do not mix old
and new batteries.
•If the air conditioner will not be used for an extended period of time, remove the
batteries from the remote control.
Pay attention to
proper polarity!

Caution!
•If the liquid from the batteries gets onto your skin or clothes, wash it well with clean water,
do not use the remote control if the batteries have any leakage.
•If you eat the liquid from the batteries, brush your teeth and see a doctor. The chemicals in
batteries could cause burns or other health hazards.
7.Protection functions
Water-full safety alarm and shut-off protection function.
•Warning sounds when the water volume reached its alarm level in water tank, and unit is
automatically stop working, both water-full indicator and “FL”on LED window is flashing
Anti-freeze protection function
•Compressor, water spraying motor will turn off when compressors running over 10 minutes
and tube temperature (Tp) is continuously ≤2°C for 20 seconds under cooling mode, E4 will
be shown on LED display window. Once the tube temperature ≥8°C, the protection is
relieved to recover into original status, and compressor apply to 3-minute delay protection.
Delay protection of compressor
•Except of when the devise is used for the first time and the compressor starts operating
immediately, there usually is a time delay of 3min for starting the compressor after it has
been shut down.
8.Handling and Transportation
•Hold handles on side panels to move the device into an upright position. Keep the device in
that position whenever handling or moving it.
•Do not hold the louver.
•Drain the water in the device completely to prevent water leakage before handling or moving
the device.
•Moisten the floor or place a carpet under it before handling or moving the device.
9.Installation and adjustment
•Caution: Keep this mobile air-conditioner in an upright position for at least 2h before first
installation. This Air Conditioner may be moved indoors conveniently, however, keep the unit
in an upright position at all times. The air-conditioner shall be placed on flat and hard
surface. Do not install or operate this air-conditioner in bathrooms or other moist
environments.

9.1 Installation of exhaust hose assembly and its adaptor
•Take out the exhaust hose assembly and its adaptor from the plastic bag.
•Extend the exhaust hose at one end, screw the round end of the adaptor into the exhaust
hose anticlockwise.
9.2 Installation of window seal plate
•Open the window halfway and determine the correct position of the seal plate depending on
the opening direction of the window
•Extend the seal plate parts and adjust it according to the window length. Then, fix the
window seal plate with screws.
Important notes:
•Make sure that both ends of the window seal plate meet the edges of the window.
Otherwise, an optimal sealing effect cannot be guaranteed.
•Fix the screws in proper position.

9.3 Installation of the unit
•Move the unit together with its exhaust hose assembly in front of the window and keep the
unit at least 50cm away from walls or other objects.
•Put the rectangle end of the exhaust hose adapter into the corresponding rectangle hole in
the window seal plate assembly. Attach everything with screws and close the window.
•Align the four locks on the window seal plate with the corresponding four fasteners on the
exhaust hose adaptor and put them together. Then, slide the adapter downwards.
•Lock the self-tapping screw (φ4mm) into the adaptor hole.
Important notes:
•Slide the adapter downwards making sure that the adapter is installed in proper alignment.
•Lock the φ4 screw tightly to prevent it from falling off.
•The exhaust hose cannot be bent or flexed in an angle higher than 45°. Otherwise, the proper
ventilation of the exhaust hose cannot be guaranteed.
•The exhaust hose has a diameter of 15 cm and is 150 cm long and is determined by the
specification of this air conditioner. Do not use the hose over a prolonged period of time or
replace it with a different model as this may affect the functions of the air conditioner. The
exhaust hose must be smooth to prevent the device from overheating due to obstruction of
the exhaust hose.

10. Drainage instruction
10.1 Manual drain
•When the water volume reached its alarm level in water tank, warning sounds and unit is
automatically stop working, both water-full indicator and “FL”is flashing on LED display
window.
•Carefully move the unit to a suitable location to drain the condensate (e.g. a gully) or put a
suitable container underneath the water outlet.
•Screw off the drain cover and unplug the water stopper from the water outlet. Let the
condensate flow freely.
•As soon as the condensate has been drained, the water-full indicator will stop flashing. Plug
the water stopper back in and screw the drain cover tightly onto the water outlet.
Important notes
•Move the unit carefully to avoid the leakage if it is necessary.
•Protect the drain cover and water stopper properly.
•Tilt the unit slightly backwards when draining.
•Block the drain hole as soon as the container is full to prevent water leakage.
•Water stopper and drain cover must be installed tightly before restarting the device, to avoid
new condensate from wetting floor or carpet.
10.2 Continuous drain
•If you are going to use the device for a long period of time, or if you do not want to
constantly empty the tank, you can connect a condensate drain hose (1/2 inch) to the hose
connection.
•Attention: Make sure that the device is switched off and disconnected from the mains!
•Unscrew the drain cap and remove the water plug from the hose connection.
•Connect the φ13mm PVC condensate drain hose to the hose connector.
•Guide the other end of the hose to a suitable drain (e.g. gully, collecting container). The
condensate drain hose must not be kinked and should not climb any slope towards the drain,
otherwise the condensate cannot drain.

Important instructions
•Make sure the condensate drain hose is properly installed before operating the device.
•In cooling mode, manual draining is recommended to ensure that enough water is returned
to cool the condenser and improve cooling performance.
•Route the condensate drain hose in an inaccessible area, no higher than the hose connection.
When draining water, leave the condensate drain hose straight and without bending.
11. Maintenance
•Turn off the unit and pull out the plug before maintain or send the unit to service center.
11.1 Surface cleaning
•Clean the unit’s surface with a wet and soft cloth. Do not use chemical solvents such as
alcohol or gasoline to avoid any damage to the unit.
11.2 Filter cleaning
•Clean the filter every two weeks. If the filter is blocked by dust or any other things, it will
influence the device’s performance.
•In order to remove the filter, grip the filter handle and take it out gently in correct direction
as shown by the arrow.
•Gently clean the filters with warm water (about 40°C) mixed with a mild detergent. Let the
filter dry in the shade.

•Take out filters of back panel at first then side panel.

•Do not squash the mesh.
•Do not hit the mesh with sharp objects or brush.
11.3 Installation of the filter
•Push the filter straight and with even force into the slot to avoid damaging it.
•Clean the handle position and the storage compartment for the remote control.
•Take out the remote control.
•Clean the handle position and the storage compartment for the remote control with a damp
and soft cloth.
Important note
•Do not pour water on the device.
•To insert the filter, proceed in reverse. First insert the filters in the side wall, then in the rear
wall.

12. End of season storage
•Screw off the drain cover and remove the water stopper to drain condensate completely
(note: the tilt angle of the unit must be ≦30°)
•Keep the unit running in FAN mode for at least half day in order to dry the inside of the unit
completely and prevent it from getting mouldy.
•Turn off the unit and pull out the plug. Then, wrap the power cord around the wire-winding
pillar and insert the plug into the universal fixing hole at the back panel of the unit. Finally,
install the water stopper and drain cover.
•Remove the exhaust hose assembly and keep it in a safe place after proper cleaning.
Important notes:
•Hold the exhaust hose assembly with both hands when removing it.
•Push the fasteners aside using your thumbs, then pull out the exhaust hose assembly.
•Wrap the air conditioner in a soft plastic bag and keep it at a dry place where it is protected
from dust. Keep the unit away from children.
•Take out the batteries from the remote control and keep it at a safe place.
•Note: make sure that the device is stored at a dry place. The device including all its
accessories shall be stored together and safely.
13.Troubleshooting
•Please check the unit according to the suggestions below before asking for professional
service. Never dismantle or repair the unit by yourself as it may cause harm to you and your
property.

15. Disposal instructions
15.1 Disposal of packaging
•Please make reference to the guidelines and standards for appropriate disposal of the
packaging valid in your region. In part, the package may consist of plastic bags - watch this
respect, with special care to ensure that this is not out of the reach of children. There is a risk
of suffocation!
15.2 Disposal of old appliances
•Equipment must be disposed of in accordance with the rules and regulations of the local
waste disposal.
15.3 Meaning of the "dustbin"
Protect our environment; electrical appliances do not belong in household
waste. Use the provided for the disposal of electrical equipment collection
points and enter your electrical and electronic equipment that you no longer
use. They help ensure that the potential effects of incorrect disposal on the
