STARTING
BEFORE OPERATING
The things that shall be done for safe operation of your
tractor are shared with you in this section.
Never start the engine and tractor if you have not already
familiarized yourself with all the controls on the tractor.
Finding out what a feature or functions does once the tractor
is moving may be too late.
You shall perform daily maintenance on your tractor.
These maintenance operations are as follows:
- Check the engine oil level before starting the engine.
- Check the level of the transmission and hydraulic lifter oils.
- Check the level of the radiator coolant.
- Check the level of the radiator coolant.
- Check the cleanliness of the air filter. Clean the dirty and
blocked filters with pressurized air.
To start the engine,
- Bring the ignition switch to position 1 and wait until the
heating warning lamp on the indicator is turned off. (This
procedure shall be carried out several times in cold weather.)
- Press the clutch pedal completely when the warning lamp
is turned off.
- Switch the engine on by turning the ignition switch to start
position.
Warning: Ensure that the protection and safety elements on
the tractor are installed and placed properly.
Use the steps for getting on and off the tractor. “Do not get on
the tractor by taking support from elements such as steering
wheel and control levers.” Ensure that all control levers are
at neutral position before operating the engine. Do not leave
your tractor running in confined places.
Do not intervene the control levers when you are not sitting on
the seat your tractor.Follow the label information provided on
the safety and warnings section for turbo engines.

STARTING
IGNITION SWITCH AND START BUTTON
This is the most important component in vehicles that
is used to ensure that the energy required for the first
movement of the engine and operation of all consumers is
distributed safely.
It is available in various types and models. Most common
versions are the locking types that prevent a second starting
operation after starting.
A start button is used to increase the safety of the start
system.
Ignition Switch Positions
(P) Park Position:
This is used to operate consumers such as park lamps,
brake lamps and tape.
Position (0) (Off):
There is no electrical current in this position. Ignition switch
shall be at position “0” (off) when the tractor is not operated.
It is possible to remove the ignition key.
Position (1) (On):
Various circuits have electrical current. Supply pump
is activated. Warning lamps on the instrument panel,
interior illumination lamp and digital display counters are
operational. Glow plugs start to heat at position “1”, and
they provide heating for 15 to 21 seconds as per the ambient
temperature. Glow warning lamp shall be illuminated
throughout the heating period of glow plugs when the
ignition switch at position “1”.
Position (2) (Start):
Start position is used for providing the first movement to the
engine. Ignition switch returns to position “1” when the key
is released after starting.
Start Button: Press
this button and turn
the ignition key while
starting.

STARTING
These are practices that shall be paid attention by the users
before and after the operation to increase the performance
of the tractor, extend its service life and achieve most work
with minimum fuel with daily maintenances.
Coolant level of the tractor shall be checked before operation.
Radiator coolant level shall be over the cores inside the
radiator.
Radiator core openings shall be empty and clean. They shall
be cleaned with pressurized air and water for this purpose.
Air filters shall be replaced at recommended intervals in
periodical maintenances. (see Warranty and maintenance
manual)
Tire pressures shall be checked as per the operating
conditions.
Warning: Ignition switch shall be at position P (Park position)
when you need to operate the consumers in park position.
Otherwise, service life of the supply pump shall be reduced as
supply pump shall be operational at all times.
Do not exert power to remove the ignition key at position “P”.
Warning: Coolant is important to ensure efficient operation
of the cooling system and to prevent freezing of water in
cold weather. Radiator core openings shall not be clogged by
materials such as stems, straw etc.
Cleanliness of the air filter is important for fuel economy and
performance.

EQUIPMENTS
3. Fuel level indicator
Indicates the fuel level in the tank. Always keep the fuel tank
full to prevent air ingress to the fuel system, and to minimize
generation of water due to condensation.
4. Engine operating hours and PTO speed indicator
The upper one of these two indicators placed on the tractor
indicator shows the engine operating hours. And the lower
one shows the PTO speed. PTO speed is 540 and 750 rpm
as standard.
Warning: Warning symbols on the instrument panel indicate
the warnings and operating conditions of the systems
operating on your tractor. PTO speed cannot be read in digital
screen in some of our models. Ratio of PTO speed to engine
speed is indicated in green and red on the indicator scale.
Moving of the indicators when the ignition is switched off is
caused by step engine feature and this is normal.
