This amplification unit uses vacuum tubes to operate. Be aware that there
are dangers involved with removal and damage to these tubes. They
operate at a high voltage, produce a large amount of excess heat and are
made of glass. Breakage can result in lacerations from glass shards and
danger of electrocution is present, even after amplifier has been turned off.
Do not attempt to remove or alter any internal wiring, as components like
capacitors can result in electrocution, even after amplifier has been
powered off.

FEATURES
The Artist Tweedtone20R amplifier provides a vintage-voiced tone at an
affordable price. The amp has 2 channels, clean and overdrive. As is typi-
cal of vintage amps the 20R has a footswitch jack on the back that allows
you to switch between clean and dirty channels seamlessly. The footswitch
is available at a small additional cost.
Each channel has an independent volume control, and the amp features a
master volume across both channels. This adds clean headroom, and also
means that you can really drive the Clean channel hard to get that nice
warm breakup at levels that don't have to necessarily annoy your neigh-
bours. Switching to the overdrive channel provides a thick, creamy over-
drive that naturally lends itself to a subtle variety of harmonically rich blues
and rock tones, and the extra gain on the Drive channel means you can
keep the Master volume low and still get classic tube-distortion and crunch
at any volume level.
Playing around with different Master and Channel volumes will provide a
range of vintage tones, and there is some serious volume on tap with
20W of tube power!
The 3-band EQ is highly responsive and allows for a vast array of tones to
suit your personal preferences.
This amp is loaded with a high-performance Celestion Seventy-80 12-inch
speaker for excellent all-around clarity and performance.

1. Input
This is where you plug in your guitar. One end of the lead goes into
your guitar and the other end plugs in here.
2. Clean Volume
This controls the volume of the pre-amp on the clean channel of the
amplifier. Turn the dial clockwise towards 10 to increase the volume of
the clean channel and drive the pre-amp tubes harder.
3. Drive Channel Switch
This push-in switch allows you to change which channel you’re using on
the amplifier. If the button is pushed in, the Tweedtone20R will be using
the drive channel. If it’s pressed again, the button will stick out further
and you’ll be using the clean channel.
4. Drive Channel Gain
This knob controls the gain of the drive channel. The higher the gain,
the more break-up and distortion you’ll get to your guitar tone. Turning
this when on the clean channel won’t affect the clean tone at all.
5. Drive Channel Volume
This knob controls the pre-amp volume of the drive channel of the am-
plifier. Turn the dial clockwise towards 10 to increase the volume of the
drive channel and drive the pre-amp tubes harder.

6. Treble EQ Control
This knob controls the treble of the guitar tone. If it’s turned all the way
to the left, you’ll have noticeably less high frequency content in your
guitar tone. All the way to the right and you’ll have noticeably more
high frequency content.
7. Middle EQ Control
This knob controls the mid-range frequencies of the guitar tone. If it’s
turned all the way to the left, you’ll have noticeably less mid-range
frequency content in y All the way to the right and you’ll have notice-
ably more mid-range frequency content.
8. Bass EQ Control
This knob controls the bass of the guitar tone. If it’s turned all the way to
the left, you’ll have noticeably less low frequency content in your guitar
tone. All the way to the right and you’ll have noticeably more low
frequency content.
9. Master Reverb Control
This knob controls the level of reverb in your guitar tone. Turn it clock-
wise towards 10 to increase the reverb level. When set at 0, there will
be no reverb in your sound, and all the way to the right will have a lot
of reverb.
10. Master Volume Control
This knob controls the overall volume level from the amplifier. If master
is set to 0, no sound will come from the amplifier, regardless of which
channel you are using. Set it to 10, and it will play max volume,
depending on what the channel volume is set to.
11. Power Indicator Light
This lights up to inform you that the amplifier is powered up.

12. Standby Switch
This switch puts the amplifier in or out of standby mode. When it’s
switched to the Standby position, the amplifier circuitry will be active
and the amplifier will power up, but there won’t be any sound present.
This allows the tubes in the amplifier to warm up before use and prevents
any loud pops or other noises when the amplifier is powered down. It’s
recommended to put the amp in standby before powering up and again
before turning off.
13. Power Switch
This switch turns the amplifier on and off.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• This is a tube amp. Tube-driven amplifiers generally take around 10-20
seconds to warm up before you hear any sound after they’re switched
on. Use the standby switch during this time to prevent any loud pops and
to prolong tube life.
• Tubes are fragile and consumable. Over time, the tubes will wear out
and will need to be replaced. Take care when moving the amp, always
switch to standby when plugging in or unplugging your guitar or pedals
and try not to bump or knock the amp around in order to prolong the life
of your tubes.
• After amp is powered off, the sound will dissipate over a couple of sec-
onds. The audio will not cut off immediately. Put the amplifier into
standby mode before powering off.
• The tubes will light up and generate heat. If you ever smell any burning
smells or see any smoke, turn the amplifier off immediately and
contact us.
• If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to us
and we will do all we can to assist you.
