Application Example
Switch between multiple audio outputs to analog, digital, or devices of
mixed signal types. In this case, sound bars can be connected to the AS8
with optical or analog 3.5mm cables. The signal type for each output is
selected via software. The RS-485 Bus accepts a variety of signals, including
transport control commands from a TS04 touch panel, relayed to the player
via RS-232. System health and user data may be logged via the Network
connection (AS8-IP only). An LED control module (LM8-12) lights an LED
strip when a sound bar is selected, indicating product selection.
