Your new Aseptico ARU-01BS X-Ray Stand is one of the finest
portable X-Ray workstands available to the professional. This stand
features a telescoping frame and a rotating X-Ray mounting clamp.
The lightweight, foldable stand sets up in a only a minute.

Please read the instructions provided in this manual to receive the
best and longest service from your Aseptico equipment.
Separate manuals may be provided to cover the operation and
maintenance of the X-Ray Unit or other accessories for your unit.

1. Ref. Figures 1A Thru 1C: Open the
bottom tube collar locking lever (D) and
unfold the base legs (E) until the bottom
collar (C) touches the frame stop. Close
the locking lever firmly. NOTE: When
unfolding base legs, refer to setup
instruction label on bottom side of legs.
Caution: When unfolding the base, keep
hands and fingers clear of moving parts.
2. Ref. Figures 2A & 2B: Loosen the upper
tube collar locking lever (G) and raise the
upper sliding tube (B) to the desired
height. Firmly close the locking lever.
Note: The upper locking lever should be
locked flush against the tube collar to
prevent slippage or stand collapse. Ref.
Figure 2C.
3. Ref. Figures 3A & 3B: Unscrew the clamp
knob (I) sufficiently to loosen X-Ray clamp
assembly (H). Raise the X-Ray clamp (H)
and push assembly in toward the stand,

aligning it with the square bracket. Note:
Avoid pinching hands or fingers between
the bracket and clamp assembly. Firmly
tighten the clamp knob (I), to lock the X-
Ray clamp assembly into position.

INSTALLING THE X-RAY ADAPTER
1. Mount the X-Ray Adapter onto the bottom
side of the X-Ray Unit handle as shown in
Figure 4A. IMPORTANT: Ensure that the
raised edge of the Adapter is seated
against the rear edge of the handle as
shown in Figure 4B.

USING THE X-RAY STAND
1. Set up the ARU-01BS X-Ray Stand on a
stable, horizontal surface.
2. Ref. Figure 2B: Loosen the upper tube
locking lever (G) and adjust the upper
sliding tube (B) to the appropriate height
for the x-ray procedure. Firmly close the
locking lever. (Height Adjusts from 36-in.
min., to 60-in. max.)
Note: To make height adjustments easier,
we recommend that adjustments be made
without an X-Ray unit mounted in the stand.
3. Ref. Figure 5: The X-Ray clamp (H) can
be rotated to allow precise positioning of
the X-Ray unit. Unscrew the clamp knob
(I) slightly to loosen clamp assembly.
Press in the rotation locking lever (J) and
rotate the X-Ray clamp to the desired
angle. Re- lease the locking lever and
firmly re-tighten the clamp knob. Note:
This adjustment can be made with an X-
Ray Unit mounted.

4. Ref. Figure 6A: Push the X-Ray clamp
locking lever (K) down to open the X-Ray
clamp (H).
5. Ref. Figures 6B, 6C, and 6D: Carefully
place the X-Ray unit between the X-Ray
clamp jaws. Pull the locking lever up to
close and lock the clamp onto the unit.
IMPORTANT: Ensure that the X-Ray
Adapter is installed on the X-Ray unit handle
before clamping the unit into the stand.
6. Ref. Figure 6B: If there is too much, or
too little, tension on the X-Ray clamp jaws
to close firmly around the X-Ray unit
handle, turn the clamp adjustment knob (L)
clockwise to increase jaw tension or
counterclockwise to loosen jaw tension.
7. To fold up the ARU-01BS X-Ray Stand,
loosen the upper tube locking lever (G)
and slide the upper tube (B) down into the
bottom tube. Firmly close the locking lever.
Unscrew the clamp knob (I) to sufficiently
loosen and pull the X-Ray clamp (H)
assembly away from the square bracket.
Fold the assembly against the stand and
retighten the clamp knob. Open the bottom
tube locking lever (D), fold the base legs
against the bottom tube (A), and firmly
close the locking lever.

NOTES:

WARRANTY:
Aseptico warrants this product against defects in material or workmanship for a period of one
year, from date of original invoice. Aseptico's sole obligation under product warranty is (at its sole
option and discretion) to repair or replace any defective component or product in part or whole.
Aseptico shall be the sole arbiter of such action.
In the event of alleged defect under warranty, the purchaser is to notify Aseptico's Customer
Service Department promptly. Customer Service will provide instructions, usually directing that
the product be returned for service. Shipment to Aseptico and the cost thereof is always the
responsibility of the purchaser.
Accidental misuse, inappropriate installation, or failure to perform directed maintenance voids the
warranty.
Aseptico does not assume, under this warranty, any risks or liabilities arising from the clinical use
of its products, whether or not such use involves coincidental utilization of products manufactured
by others.
NOTE: In the interest of serving our customers more efficiently, customers receiving service on non-warranted
repairs are expected to accept charges that are less than $250.00 without further notification.
