Quattro™ is ASKO’s own extremely durable standing construction.
The outer drum rests on four supporting spring legs firmly attached
to a steel bottom plate. The entire construction stands inside the
outer metal casing, so the vibrations stay inside the machine. Even
spinning at 2000 rpm can be done virtually free of vibrations.
ASKO is certified to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
This means that production is controlled according
to international rules for guaranteeing consistent
high quality. To live up to these demands, we test
our machines over and over again.

ASKO’s SmartSeal™ construction means that the door seals
directly to the drum, giving you close access. On ageing, the
contact surface of a rubber bellows can become quite filthy.
With SmartSeal™ the loading space will remain fresh and
hygienic, year after year.
Cast iron lasts
longer than concrete.
M
ost manufacturers stabilise their washing machines with
concrete. We’ve chosen cast iron, which lasts lon

er. Because
this also reduces vibrations, there is less wear on the machine.
M

Enviromental thinking is also long-lasting thinking
You can recycle your ASKO washing machine at the end of its
useful life with a clear conscience. Each detail over 50 grams,
whether made of steel, plastic or rubber, is marked for recycling
and could reappear in another guise. Such as the stabilising
cast iron weight, for example.
All our machines pass tough tests
Every detail, right down to component level, is tested to last a long time.
We conduct tests in laboratories, endurance tests at extra high temperatures,
leakage and electricity safety tests, and tests in the home environment. Any
machine that fails to pass our gruelling tests never sees a beautiful laundry room.

Butterfly Drying™
is ASKO’s own innovation. It saves both the motor and your
ironing board. ASKO dryers tumble non-stop. Unique paddles
inside the drum tumble the clothes in a figure eight to prevent
the clothes from bundling – no unnecessary strain on the motor,
and reduces creasing.

To ensure the motor belt runs precisely, ASKO tumble dryers
are fitted with a ball-bearing belt idler. The idler is fixed in a spring,
making it extra flexible. Our dryers have a felt seal at the front
of the cylinder. To ensure the longest possible life in the seal, the
drum therefore rests at the front on two extra ball-bearing
support rollers.

Even though the double lint filter collects most of the lint, some
of it is bound to end up in the fan. If this happens you will have to
call a service engineer. But thanks to ASKO’s unique cleanable fan
the service will be performed quickly and easily, and thus saving a
lot of money for you.

Lint hinders the air circulation inside the tumble dryer. Air circula-
tion is absolutely crucial to efficiency, and therefore to energy
consumption and durability. This is why ASKO tumble dryers are
fitted with a particularly efficient double lint filter, which prevents
lint from gathering in the machine and thereby increases its life span.

The ASKO way. The other way.
An all-welded
casing never leaks.
To eliminate the risk of flooding in the kitchen we have developed
AquaSafe™, an advanced water safety system encompassing 16
different points, all of which help ensure a leak-safe dishwasher and
many problem-free years. The all-welded outer casing is just one
of these points.

No other material lasts as long as steel, especially in an environment
where water, salt, rinse aid, detergent and children are everyday
factors. This is why we produce our dishwashers with eight of the
most important components made of high-quality steel rather
than plastic, such as the spray arms.

The dishwasher environment is extremely basic. This means that
the machine can start rusting easily if it is not made of high-quality
stainless steel. In ASKO’s dishwashers we use non-magnetic 18.9
steel in all parts that come into contact with water. Other makes
often use a magnetic 17.0 steel which is not as resistant to corrosion.
Steel is sturdy,
plastic is soft.

washers also have an outer base in steel rather than plastic.
ASKO’s dishwashers are made of steel. The container is held securely in the
outer frame with four stainless bolts. This is a unique, durable solution that you´ll
only find in an ASKO machine. Some manufacturers screw their containers into
a plastic base with small screws.
