1. Product description
The specialized stand PRO 2.0 allows a convenient positioning of C-Eye®, C-Eye®II COM, C-Eye®
II PRO and mediContact®products relative to the patient. This allows the patient, without
changing their position, to benefit from the full capabilities of the device, including communication
with relatives or therapists The mobile stand allows the installed device to be positioned at the
height 76 cm –188 cm, at any angle (in any plane), at an appropriate distance from the patient.
Castors increase the mobility of the whole kit, and specially designed base allows an easy
placement of the device near the bed or wheelchair. The rear castors lock option ensures a safe
stability.
The stand is designed for non-communicative persons who are permanently immobilized and can
use the stand while lying down (on a bed) or sitting/semi-lying (in a wheelchair).

3. Warnings on safe use
Before use, please read the following instructions carefully
and strictly observe the precautions for safe use.
Ensure that all persons using the product are informed of the
contents of the manual.
Use the product only as described in this manual and only with original
parts supplied or approved for use by the manufacturer. Otherwise the
product may be damaged or the user may be injured.
Making technical changes to the stand or its improper use will void the
warranty.

K1 - to adjust the head of the VESA mount on the Arm (E).
K2 - to adjust the Arm (see page 11).
K3 - to tighten all screws (S1, S2, S3 and S4).
Make sure to remove the base covers (F1 and F2) from the base skids (B1 and B2) before
installation. The power supply is located under the cover (F1) in the component (B1).
The packaging can be reused or recycled.
5. Indications for use
This tripod is recommended for use with the C-Eye®, C-Eye®II COM, C-Eye®II PRO and
mediContact® products.
The manufacturer allows the use with other medical devices provided that the
permissible arm load (8 kg) is not exceeded and the assembly method is
observed.

Remember to always tighten the
brake on the head when moving
with the stand and when
approaching the patient.

When working with the device, be
careful not to put your hand or finger
between the head of the mast and the
bumper, it may result in injury!
Position the stand for optimal placement of the device patient as shown in the figure below.

The orientation of the boom arm must be in the direction of the longer arms of
the tripod base. Failure to do so may result in an overturn of the tripod with
the device suspended on it, which may have negative consequences for the
patient working with the system as well as for the device itself
7. Contraindications
None
8. Damage / Repair / Maintenance
Stop work immediately if the stand is disturbed, damaged, or suspected of being damaged.
Do not use a damaged stand under any circumstances. All repairs and maintenance may
only be carried out by the manufacturer or an authorised service centre.
In case of self-repair, the manufacturer is not liable for possible damage.
Periodically (once every 6 months) check the proper functioning of the wheels,
brakes, brake pressure located on the head and the screws securing the computer
are not loose.
9. Cleaning and disinfection
The product should be cleaned with a soft dry cloth.
Do not use abrasive substances and substances containing free chlorine and oxygen - they
may damage the paint coating.
For disinfection purposes, use agents intended for disinfection of active medical devices,
observing the manufacturer's instructions for use.
10. Working, storage and transport conditions
The product must not be:
used in areas where flammable gases or vapours of flammable substances are present,
exposed to weather conditions,
exposed to moisture and liquids,
Have a service inspection performed by the stand manufacturer every two
years.

exposed to fire and high temperatures,
used immediately after transport between environments of extremely different
temperatures (in this case it is necessary to wait until the condensed water has
completely dried).
It is forbidden to stand on the stand during operation, storage and transport of the kit
between rooms. Transport tripod with folded arm (indicated in the picture below).

12. Disposal
Disposal must be carried out in accordance with the legal regulations in force.
13. Preparation for work
If the stand has been transported between environments with extremely different
temperatures, it is necessary to wait until the condensation that may have formed as a
result of the temperature difference has completely dried out.
14. Assembly of the product
STAND
1) Connect the column (A)to the base skids (B1 and B2) by sliding pieces B1 and B2
over the column.
2) To bolt the column (A) to the base skids (B1 and B2) use eight S1 bolts, four for each
skid with wheels.

3) Remove the weight locking screw located at the bottom centre of the mast (C)
(remember to always lock the weight with the screw during transport). Then insert
the mast (C) into the column (A) and fasten it with four S4 screws (two screws on each
side; into the lower holes).
4) Screw the handle (D) to the column (A) with four screws S3 (two screws on each side;
into the upper holes).

5) Attach the arm (E) to the mast (C) - make sure to route the power cord well. First
unscrew the arm sleeve nut (E), then pull the cable from the arm (E) through the hole
in the mast and secure the hole from the bottom with the sleeve nut.
6) Attach the power cord to the handle (D), connect it to the power supply at the bottom
of the stand base, which is located in item B1, and then connect the cables from the
bottom of the item.
7) Attach the base covers (F1 and F2) using two screws S2 for each cover.

ARM ADJUSTMENT
1) Adjust the arm action by tightening or loosening the screw with the K2 wrench in the
lower holes of each arm piece.
CASTORS LOCK
To immobilize the stand lock the castor set by stepping on the brake lever in both rear castors.
Lift the brake levers in both castors to unlock the castors.
Over time, as the unit is used, the arm may need to be adjusted. For this
purpose, use the K2 allen wrench.

Remember to tighten the brake
on the head after determining the
height at which the arm will be
located.
INSTALLATION OF THE DEVICE
To install the device on the arm, fasten it with four screws as shown in the figure below.
Use only the supplied screws. Screws that are too long can damage the computing
unit.

15. Product life
The product has a lifespan of 3 years from the date of purchase, provided that components subject
to natural wear are replaced every 12 months as part of a service inspection. After this time, in
order to continue its safe use, the product must be returned to the manufacturer for inspection
and replacement of critical components against payment.
If this is not done, the life of the device is not extended and the manufacturer is not liable
for incorrect operation of the device.
16. Warranty
The warranty period starts from the date of delivery of the product and is 24 months. Normal
external wear of the painted surface is excluded from the warranty. During the warranty period
the manufacturer is obligated to eliminate at his own expense any defects that have arisen due to
the intended use.
In order to obtain the manufacturer's warranty, the stand must be delivered together with the
warranty card and a copy of the proof of purchase to the manufacturer's address given in section
2.
Any repairs under the manufacturer's warranty will be carried out only on the basis of the
warranty card together with the proof of purchase.
17. Exclusion from warranty
The warranty, as well as the liability for damage to persons or other equipment, expires in the
event of:
improper handling or misuse,
interference with the product and improper repairs by unauthorized persons or service
centres,
use of spare parts other than original spare parts,
mechanical damage caused by using the product with excessive load.
