C1070 Dual Output Timer Control Centre INSTALLATION
The C1070 is designed to give you year round automatic control of your swimming
pool cleaning system. By following these simple installation and operating
instructions you will enjoy trouble free operation for many years.

CAUTION: DO NOT OPEN THE CASE OF THE C1070 UNIT. IT IS NOT USER
SERVICEABLE. IF THE POWER CORDS ARE DAMAGED, IT MUST BE
REPLACED BY THE MANUFACTURER OR AN AUTHORISED AGENT.
OPENING THE CASE WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY. THIS UNIT MUST BE
INSTALLED IN THE UPRIGHT POSITION.
INSTALLATION
The C1070 unit is weather resistant, however it should be mounted in a sheltered
position where it is not exposed to direct weather, splashing or spray from the pool
or filtration equipment. Electrical building regulations specify that the C1070
unit must not be mounted within 3 meters of the pool.
Fix the unit to a wall or post, within 1.5 meters of a 240-volt outlet and within 2
meters of the cleaning pump. Mounting points are provided on the back. The C1070
unit must be installed in the upright position.
Power connection. Power to the C1070 is supplied via the outlet from the time
clock or chlorinator through a standard 240-volt lead and plug (marked TO
TIMECLOCK / CHLORINATOR). Power for the pressure cleaner booster pump is
supplied through a separate standard 240-volt lead and plug (marked CONSTANT
240Vac).
Plug the cleaning pump into the socket marked BOOSTER PUMP and plug the filter
pump into the socket marked FILTER PUMP (See installation diagram).
Maximum Booster Pump rating: 1 HP
Maximum Filter Pump rating: 1.5 HP
ONLY THE FILTER PUMP IS TO BE CONNECTED TO THE FILTER PUMP
OUTLET. ONLY THE BOOSTER PUMP IS TO BE CONNECTED TO THE
BOOSTER PUMP OUTLET MORE THAN THIS OR EQUIPMENT OTHER THAN
A PUMP MAY DAMAGE THE ELECTRONICS OR THE ITEM CONNECTED TO
THE CONTROLLER OUTLET AND WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY.
OPERATION
The C1070 Dual output timer control centre is designed to give the user trouble
free, low maintenance control of the cleaning pump. The C1070 unit is designed to
be set up and left. Once set up the C1070 unit will turn on each day, 16 minutes
after power is supplied to the filter pump and run for the user selected time. Time
remaining for the controllers operation is indicated by that hour light flashing.
+ AND - BUTTONS
These buttons allow the user to select between 1 and 5 hours for the cleaning pump
to run.
OVERRIDE ON
This button allows the user to run the C1070 unit for extra time for either 1 or 4
hours. The override will then time out after the 1 or 4 hour period and turn off
automatically. Override on 1-hour selection is displayed by the pump light being lit
up, the override on light flashing and the 1-hour light flashing. The 4-hour override
is displayed by the pump light lit up, the override on light lit up and the 4-hour lights
lit up (the current hour the unit is in will be flashing). To select 1-hour just press the
button till the override on light is flashing. To select 4 hours hold the button until
the override on light is lit and the 4-hour lights are lit. To cancel the override on
function, press the override on button until the override on light is off.
OVERRIDE OFF
The override off button turns the C1070 unit off for just 1 hour and then times out
and continues normal operation again. This is selected by pressing the override off
button until the override off light is lit. To cancel the override off function, press the
override off button until the override off light is off.
