4. INSTALLATION OF THE UNIT
4.1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please, read the safety instructions prior any manipulation:
Do not place heavy objects, pull, damage, heat up
or modify the electrical plug. The cable would be
damaged and it would cause electric discharges
and fire risk.
IMPORTANT: Keep the plug clean. If dirt adheres
to the plug or if does not plug in properly, it may
cause a fire or electric shocks.
Never introduce rods, finger or other items in the
air inlet / outlet. The fan operates at great speed,
being able to cause a very serious incident.
KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN
Do not connect / disconnect the unit in use. It can
cause a fire due to the sparks, etc.
If the unit continues working in abnormal
conditions, it can cause a fire or damages. Check
with its installer.
If any anomaly takes place (burning smell, etc.),
stop the unit, retrieve the plug or turn the power
off.
Installation or servicing should never be
performed by the client.
The unit must never be put under water or mud
discharges and the water outlet should never be
located in places exposed to strong winds.
Connection: Do not tie an earth wire to a gas
pipe, bright-line viewfinder or telephone plug.
This would cause a fire risk.
Do not pull the power supply cord. There is a risk
of fire if the electrical cable is ripped off.
Do not place animals or indoor plants in direct
contact with the air inlet/outlet. This would cause
injury to the animals and plants.
When unit maintenance must be undertaken,
switch it off and disconnect the unit or turn the
power off. The fan operates at great speed, being
able to cause a very serious incident.
When the unit may not be used for some time,
unplug it or turn the power off.
Do not manipulate the plug with wet hands, since
it could cause an electrical discharge. In case of
storm, switch the unit off to avoid lightning
related damages.
Do not vaporize with insecticide or any other
flammable spray in the direction of the unit. This

5.6. APPLIANCE OPERATION
5.6.1. POSTHEATING CONTROL
In the heating mode, the goal is to keep the temperature above the temperature set value.
The controller receives the ambient temperature measured by the ambient probe and
compares it to the setpoint (temperature value we want to achieve.)
The heating action is performed when the temperature is below the setpoint minus differential
marked. (Air temperature differential of 1.5 ° C. Factory setting). See IMAGE 9.8 (pg. 105)
When heating is needed, the appliance starts the post-heating element (electric heating
elements or heating coil) until it reaches the temperature set point.
In heating mode, limitations on the outlet air temperature are set to establish a functioning
security against overheating anomalies. If there is a problem of this type, air heating is turned
off and fan will remain on to dissipate the excess heat. An alarm will be shown in the display if
this situation does occur. This alarm has manual reset, pressing “F1” key.
5.6.2. HEHUMIDIFICATION
In dehumidification mode, the goal is to keep the humidity below the humidity set point.
The controller receives the ambient humidity value measured by the humidity sensor and
compares it to the setpoint (humidity value we want to achieve) plus differential marked. (Air
humidity differential of 5%. Factory setting). See IMAGE 9.9 (Pg. 105).
The dehumidification is performed by the refrigerant circuit. For proper operation of this
system some requirements are to be met. First, all safety systems must be ok (high & low
pressure…) and that the inlet ambient air temperature is above 20 ° C. If any of these conditions
is not met, the appliance will not start. Appearing the associated alarm on the display. Alarms
and information from each of the situations that we can find is detailed in TABLES 4 (Pg. 79).
