in accordance withthe manufacturer s instr-
uctions.
8) Do notinstall near anyheat sources suchas
radiators, heat registers,stoves, or other
apparatus that produceheat.
9) Do notdefeat the safetypurpose of thepolari-
zed or grounding-typeplug. A polarizedplug
has two bladeswith one widerthan the other.
A grounding-type plughas two bladesand a
third grounding prong.The wide bladeor the
third prong isprovided for yoursafety.If the
provided plug doesnot fit intoyour outlet,
consult an electricianfor replacement ofthe
obsolete outlet.
10) Protect thepower cord frombeing walked on
or pinched, particularlyat plugs, convenience
receptacles, and thepoint where theyexit from
the apparatus.
11) Only useattachments/accessories specified
by the manufacturer.
12) Use onlywith a cart,stand, bracket, ortable
specified by themanufacturer,or sold withthe
apparatus. When acart is used,use caution
when moving thecart/apparatus combination
to avoid injuryfrom tip-over.
13) Unplug thisapparatus during lightningstorms
or when unusedfor long periodsof time.
14) Refer allservicing to qualified service perso-
nnel.Servicing is required whenthe apparatus
has been damagedin any way, such aspower-
supply cord orplug is damaged,liquid has
been spilled orobjects have falleninto the
apparatus, the apparatushas been exposedto
rain or moisture,does not operatenormally,
or has beendropped.
15) Toreduce the riskof fire orelectric shock, do
not expose thisapparatus to rainor moisture.

preamplifiers or tapedecks dirctly aboveor below theunit. Be-
cause this amplifierhas a highpower density, it hasa strong
magnetic field whichcan induce huminto unshielded devices
that are locatednearby.The field isstrongest just aboveandb-
elow the unit.
If an equipmentrack is used,we recommend locatingthe amp-
lifier(s) in thebottom of therack and thepreamplifier or other
sensitive equipment atthe top.
