Thanks for choosing JumpStarter by GET! You must consult this manual for safety warnings
and precautions, for working and maintenance procedures, for the list of components and for
technical specifications. The following safety notes are extremely important to ensure the
user’s safety an to avoid damages to the device or to any product linked to it.
WARNING: Check the charge status of the device. If it is under 50% (2 LEDs out of 4),
JumpStarter needs to be re-charged. This device must be re-charged if not used at
least every 6 months and after each use. Read carefully the User Manual for further
information.

The led lights will come on one after the other during charging. The number of leds lit up
shows JumpStarter’s charge level (see table above). All the leds will go out when charging is
completed or interrupted.
1. Connect the USB charger cable to a charger (not included) or USB port.

B. USER GUIDE:
1. Completely insert the blue plug in the JumpStarter and ensure the charge indicator is off.
2. Connect the red clip to the battery’s positive (+) terminal and the black clip to its negative (-) terminal.
It is recommended not to invert the two clamps for any reason.

3. Use JumpStarter to start the vehicle only when at least 3 of the charge indicator lights are on.
4. Now check what the indicator on cabling is showing:
GREEN LIGHT on: Shows the connection is correct and the circuit is functioning. It is now
possible to start the vehicle using your JumpStarter.
RED LIGHT on with buzzing sound: The light indicates a connection error, while the buzzing
is a warning to correct the position of the clips as explained in point 2. Wait until the GREEN
LIGHT comes on to switch on the engine.
Warning: Pressing the BOOST button in these circumstances will generate a short circuit
which can cause damages to both JumpStarter and the device connected to it.
GREEN LIGHT flashing with buzzing sound: Indicates that the battery charge is low. Press
the “BOOST” button, wait until the GREEN LIGHT stops flashing, then switch the engine on
within 30 seconds.
No lights, no buzzing sound: the battery of the vehicle may be damaged. Make sure the
smart clamps are properly connected, push the “BOOST” button, wait for the GREEN LIGHT
to be turned on, then start your engine within the next 30 seconds.
5. Start the vehicle.
Warning: If JumpStarter emits an acoustic signal during the start attempt, means that the
device is in protection mode, not allowing further attempts. Please, recharge the device before
trying again.
6. If the engine does not start within 3 seconds stop cranking and wait at least 30 seconds before
attempting to start the vehicle again.
WARNING: Do not try to crank the engine as explained on point 6 more than 3 times in a row,
as the device may overheat and consequently be damaged. We recommend to wait more
than two minutes before cranking again, to prevent the starter cables from overheating and
disconnecting from the device as an automatic safety measure.
7. After the vehicle starts, remove starter cable from the battery within 30 second and leave the
vehicle engine on.

1. Connect the charger cable to the device’s USB 5V 2.4 A port.
2. Select the appropriate connector and connect it to your mobile phone or tablet.
3.Press the button on the switch to charge.
Press the switch for 3 seconds to switch the torch on. Press the switch again to turn the torch off.

A. This device switches off automatically when out of charge or when charging is completed.

A. This depends on the capacity of your mobile’s battery. An iPhone 6, for example, can be

1. If not used the device needs to be recharged at least every 6 months or after every use.
2. JumpStarter should never be completely discharged for more than 20 days. Beyond this
term, the device may partially or totally lose its functionality.
3. Read the instruction manual carefully before using this product.
4.The JumpStarter device has been designed and tested only and exclusively for starting 12V
up to 2000cc vehicles (not suitable for Diesel vehicles). Using this device to start other vehicles
may be dangerous and is forbidden with means of transport such as aircraft, ships and so on.
5. The outlet port which the jump cables have to be connected to the JumpStarter is marked with
a rubber cap with an open hood car. Please, connect only the clamps included in the package
to this port. Use of ports or devices other than the harnesses included in the JumpStarter
package can damage – partially or totally - both JumpStarter and what is connected to it.
6. Exercise caution in using the device.
7. DO NOT use the product if the cable clip or the cable itself are damaged.
8. DO NOT use as a substitute for the vehicle’s battery.
9. DO NOT use as a battery charger.
10. DO NOT leave the device connected to the battery of the vehicle after this has been
successfully started. Remove the product from the vehicle battery within 30 seconds from
starting, to avoid any damage.
11. Only use the starter cable supplied with the device.
12. Ensure that the blue plug of the starter cable is properly connected to your JumpStarter’s
socket to prevent the cable from melting.
13. Check that all battery connections are CLEAN before starting the vehicle using your
JumpStarter. Ensure the battery clips are properly connected. If the vehicle battery
terminals are dirty or corroded, the unit’s power supply may be lessened.

15. We recommend against children or disabled persons using it without supervision.
16. DO NOT use as a toy.
17. Avoid contact with liquids.
18. DO NOT immerse the product in water.
19. DO NOT use in the presence of liquids, gas or flammable powders.
20. DO NOT modify or dismantle JumpStarter. Only a technician can repair this device.
21. DO NOT expose the product to extreme heat or naked flames.
22. DO NOT use the device if you are in an isolated location and cannot be reached in case of
emergency. Also ensure that other people are within earshot in case you have to call for help.
23. While using your JumpStarter remove all metal personal items such as rings, bracelets,
necklaces etc.
24. Avoid knocking or dropping the device. Should the device receive a hard knock or be
damaged in some way, have it checked by a qualified technician.
25. Do not keep it in places where the temperature can exceed 70°C.
26. Only charge the device at temperatures between 0°C and 60°C.
27. Only use the battery charger supplied to recharge the device.
28. DO NOT use the JumpStarter to start the vehicle while the internal battery is being
charged.
29. Should liquid be discharged from the device, throw it away immediately in the proper
recycling containers.
30. Under extreme conditions liquid may discharge from the device battery. Should this
happen, do not handle the object with bare hands. In the event of contact with the skin, wash
immediately with soap and water. In the event of contact with the eyes, rinse with cold
running water for at least 10 minutes and immediately seek medical assistance.
31. The product contains a lithium battery. Do not throw away in domestic waste. Respect
local regulations.

Athena S.p.A. warrants to the consumer that the product is free of defects in material and
workmanship for 24 (twenty-four) months from the date of purchase, which must be certified
by a document valid for fiscal purposes.
The guarantee for components subject to wear, such as batteries, is for 6 months from
date of purchase.
The warranty can only be exercised by the original consumer of the product purchased from
an authorised dealer or through the Athena S.p.A. sales channel.
During the warranty period, the product – if the relevant defect has been ascertained
following an internal assessment – will be repaired or replaced without any additional cost
for workmanship and materials.
The warranty shall not apply in the following cases:
•Normal wear and tear of the product and battery;
•Improper use of the product;
•Improper installation;
•Damages arising from repairs or alterations by unauthorised personnel;
•Damages arising from misuse, accidents and failure to observe the precautions required;
•Inadequate maintenance.
Athena S.p.A. shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, expenses and direct or indirect
costs arising from the product or ascribable to the latter.
The serial number marked on the product must not in any way be removed, cancelled or made
illegible, or the warranty shall be voided.
In case of repairs or replacement, the product will be covered by warranty until the expiry of
the original warranty. The product’s repair or replacement may involve the use of equivalent
parts in place of the original parts.
The removed parts or replaced products will become the property of Athena S.p.A.
This warranty issued by Athena S.p.A. does not in any way affect the rights and remedies
expressly envisaged and recognised to the consumer pursuant to the national or regional
laws in force concerning the sale of consumer goods, nor does it limit the consumer’s rights
towards the dealer arising from the sales contract.
This warranty is exclusively valid in the countries in which the product was marketed and sold
by Athena S.p.A. or by an authorised dealer.

Grazie per aver scelto JumpStarter di GET! È indispensabile consultare il presente manuale
per le avvertenze e le precauzioni relative alla sicurezza, per le procedure di funzionamento e
di manutenzione, per l’elenco dei componenti e per le specifiche tecniche.
Queste avvertenze sono estremamente fondamentali per garantire la sicurezza
dell’utilizzatore ed evitare danni al dispositivo stesso o ai prodotti collegati.
ATTENZIONE: Verificare lo stato di carica del dispositivo. Se inferiore al 50% (2 LED su 4)
JumpStarter deve essere ricaricato. Il dispositivo deve essere ricaricato se non utilizzato
almeno ogni 6 mesi e dopo ogni utilizzo. Leggere attentamente il manuale d’uso per

Le luci a led si accenderanno una di seguito all’altra durante la carica. Il numero di led accesi
indicherà il livello di carica di JumpStarter (come indicato nella tabella sopra riportata). Tutti i
led si spegneranno quando la carica sarà completata o interrotta.
1. Collegare il cavo di ricarica USB a un caricatore (non incluso) o una porta USB.
2. Collegare la Micro USB alla porta di ingresso 5V2A del dispositivo.

B. GUIDA ALL’UTILIZZO:
1. Inserire completamente nello JumpStarter la spina blu e assicurarsi che
l’indicatore di carica sia spento.
2. Collegare il Morsetto Rosso al terminale positivo (+) della batteria e collegare il
morsetto Nero al terminale negativo (-) della batteria.
Si raccomanda di non invertire per nessun motivo i due morsetti.

3. Avviare il veicolo tramite JumpStarter solo quando almeno 3 delle luci dell’indicatore di
carica sono illuminate.
4. Procedere verificando quanto indicato dall’indicatore sul cablaggio:
LUCE VERDE accesa: Indica che la connessione è corretta ed il circuito in funzione. Sarà
possibile quindi avviare il veicolo tramite il vostro JumpStarter.
LUCE ROSSA accesa con segnale acustico: La luce indica un errore nella connessione
mentre il segnale acustico avverte di correggere il posizionamento dei morsetti come
spiegato al punto 2. Attendere che la LUCE VERDE si accenda per accendere il motore.
Attenzione: La pressione del tasto BOOST in tali circostanze genera un corto circuito che
può provocare danni sia al dispositivo che al veicolo ad esso collegato.
LUCE VERDE lampeggiante con segnale acustico: Indica che la carica della batteria del
veicolo è bassa. Premere il pulsante “BOOST”, attendere che la LUCE VERDE resti fissa,
quindi accendere il motore entro 30 secondi.
Non ci sono luci accese, nè segnale acustico: Indica che la batteria del veicolo potrebbe
essere danneggiata. Dopo essersi accertati che la connessione dei morsetti sia corretta,
premere il tasto “BOOST”, attendere che la LUCE VERDE si accenda, quindi accendere il
motore entro 30 secondi.
5. Avviare il veicolo.
ATTENZIONE: Nel caso JumpStarter emetta un segnale acustico durante il tentativo
di avviamento, significa che il dispositivo è entrato in modalità protezione, non
permettendo ulteriori tentativi. Ricaricare il dispositivo prima di provare nuovamente.
6. Se il motore non si avvia entro 3 secondi, interrompere il tentativo di avviamento ed
attendere almeno 30 secondi prima di procedere con un nuovo tentativo.
ATTENZIONE: Non tentare di avviare il veicolo come spiegato al punto 6. per più di 3 volte
di seguito in quanto il dispositivo potrebbe surriscaldarsi e, di conseguenza, danneggiarsi.
È consigliabile attendere oltre due minuti prima di ripetere l’avviamento, per evitare che il
cavo di connessione si surriscaldi e si disconnetta dal dispositivo come misura automatica
di sicurezza.
7. Quando il veicolo è avviato, rimuovere il cavo di avviamento dalla batteria entro 30
secondi e lasciare il motore del veicolo acceso.

1. Il dispositivo deve essere ricaricato se non utilizzato almeno ogni 6 mesi e dopo ogni utilizzo.
2. JumpStarter, non dovrà mai rimanere completamente scarico per più di 20 giorni. Oltre tale
termine, il dispositivo potrebbe perdere parzialmente o totalmente la sua funzionalità.
3. Leggere attentamente il manuale di istruzioni prima di utilizzare questo prodotto.
4. Il dispositivo JumpStarter è progettato e testato solo ed esclusivamente per l’avvio di veicoli 12V
fino a 2000cc (non veicoli Diesel). L’utilizzo del dispositivo per l’avvio di altri veicoli può comportare
un pericolo ed è vietato con mezzi di trasporto quali velivoli, navi e così via.
5. La porta di uscita alla quale collegare i cavi di avviamento al JumpStarter è contraddistinta da
un tappo in gomma contrassegnato da una vettura con cofano aperto. Collegare a questa porta
unicamente i cablaggi di avvio inclusi nella confezione. L’utilizzo di porte o dispositivi diversi dai
cablaggi inclusi nella confezione di JumpStarter possono causare un danneggiamento –
parziale o totale - sia al dispositivo che di quanto ad esso collegato.
6. Utilizzare il dispositivo con cautela.
7. NON utilizzare il prodotto se il morsetto del cavo o il cavo stesso risultano danneggiati.
8. NON usare in sostituzione alla batteria del veicolo.
9. NON usare come un caricabatterie.
10. NON lasciare l’apparecchio collegato alla batteria dell’auto dopo che è stata avviata con
successo. Rimuovere il prodotto dalla batteria del veicolo entro 30 secondi dall’avviamento per
evitare eventuali danni.
11. Usare solo il cavo di avviamento fornito in dotazione al dispositivo.
12. Assicurarsi che la spina blu del cavo di avviamento sia collegata in maniera corretta alla
presa del vostro JumpStarter per evitare che si possa fondere il cavo in questione.
13. Controllare che tutti i collegamenti della batteria siano PULITI prima dell’avviamento del
veicolo tramite il vostro JumpStarter. Assicurarsi che i morsetti della batteria siano collegati
correttamente. Se i terminali della batteria del veicolo sono sporchi o corrosi, la potenza
d’alimentazione dell’unità potrebbe attenuarsi.
14. NON collegare i due morsetti insieme.

15. Si sconsiglia l’uso da parte di bambini o disabili senza supervisione.

17. Evitare il contatto con i liquidi.
18. NON immergere il prodotto in acqua.
19. NON utilizzare in presenza di liquidi, gas o polveri infiammabili.
20. NON modificare o smontare JumpStarter. Solo un tecnico può riparare questa unità.
21. NON esporre il prodotto a calore estremo o a fiamme libere.
22. NON utilizzare il dispositivo se vi trovate in luoghi isolati e non raggiungibili in caso di
emergenza. Assicurarsi inoltre che siano presenti terzi nel raggio di portata della propria
voce nel caso aveste bisogno di soccorso.
23. Durante l’uso del vostro JumpStarter togliere oggetti personali in metallo come anelli,
bracciali, collane, ecc.
24. Evitare di esporre il dispositivo a urti e cadute. Se il dispositivo dovesse ricevere un forte
colpo o danneggiarsi in qualche modo, farlo controllare da un tecnico qualificato.
25. Non conservarlo in luoghi dove la temperatura può superare 70 ºC.
26. Caricare il dispositivo solo a temperature comprese tra 0 °C e 60 °C.
27. Utilizzare solo il caricabatterie in dotazione per ricaricare il dispositivo.
28. NON utilizzare JumpStarter per avviare il veicolo mentre la batteria interna è in carica.
29. In caso di fuoriuscita di liquido dal dispositivo, gettarlo immediatamente negli appositi
contenitori per il riciclo.
30. In condizioni estreme è possibile la fuoriuscita di liquido dalla batteria del dispositivo.
Se ciò si verificasse, non maneggiare l’oggetto a mani nude. In caso di contatto con la pelle,
lavare immediatamente con acqua e sapone. In caso di contatto con gli occhi, sciacquare
con acqua corrente fredda per almeno 10 minuti e ricorrere immediatamente ad assistenza medica.
31. Il prodotto contiene una batteria a litio. Non gettare nei rifiuti domestici, rispettare le
normative locali.

Athena S.p.A. garantisce al consumatore che il prodotto è privo di difetti di materiali o di
produzione per 24 (ventiquattro) mesi dalla data di acquisto che deve essere comprovata da
un documento valido agli effetti fiscali.
La garanzia per le componenti usurabili quali le batterie è della durata di 6 mesi dalla data
di acquisto.
La garanzia è valida solo per il consumatore originale del prodotto acquistato da un
rivenditore autorizzato o tramite il canale di vendite di Athena S.p.A.
Durante il periodo di validità della garanzia, il prodotto, qualora sia stato accertato il
difetto dopo una valutazione interna del caso in questione, verrà riparato o sostituito senza
nessuna spesa aggiuntiva per la mano d’opera e per i materiali.
La garanzia non è applicabile nei seguenti casi:
• Normale usura del prodotto e della batteria;
• Uso improprio del prodotto;
• Installazione impropria;
• Danni risultanti da riparazioni o modifiche da parte di personale non autorizzato;
• Danni derivanti da cattivo uso, incidenti, mancata osservanza delle dovute precauzioni;
• Manutenzione inadeguata.
Athena S.p.A. non si ritiene responsabile per eventuali danni, perdite, spese, costi, diretti od
indiretti, derivanti dal prodotto od ad esso riconducibile.
Il numero di serie presente sul prodotto non deve essere in alcun caso rimosso, cancellato
o reso illeggibile, pena l’invalidità della garanzia.
In caso di avvenuta riparazione o sostituzione, il prodotto sarà coperto da garanzia per il
tempo rimanente del periodo di garanzia originale. La riparazione o sostituzione del prodotto
può comportare l’utilizzo di parti sostitutive equivalenti in sostituzione alle originali.
Le parti rimosse o i prodotti sostituiti diventano proprietà di Athena S.p.A.
La presente garanzia rilasciata da Athena S.p.A. non pregiudica in alcun modo i diritti e i
rimedi espressamente previsti e riconosciuti in favore del consumatore ai sensi delle leggi
