Incorporating the largest trifilar wound transformer protection
ever made, the OC-12 produces the ultimate in sound quality
combined with the maximum power distributed to each
speaker in a multi-room system. There is no loss of power,
regardless of the number of speakers playing and no heat
generated by the protection system.
Hidden Distribution Hub With or Without Protection.
Incorporating switchable resistive protection, the MJ Series is
compatible with either Optimatch or PurePath system
designs. Simply switch protection on for PurePath or off for
Optimatch.
Highest Possible Power Transfer, far more power than any
competitive offering. All large autoformer protection circuits
waste enormous amounts of power on subsonic material,
saturating the autoformer core and distressing the power
amplifier. The OC-12 incorporates an audiophile grade
crossover for subsonics, perfectly matched to the autoformer.
The end result is the ultimate in efficiency and clarity.
Automatic Power Routing With Purepath Volume Controls.
Resistive protection of 3 ohms, perfectly matches up to eight
8 ohm speaker pairs to an amplifier stable to 4 ohms. Resistive
protection delivers adequate power for moderate listening levels
when all room volume controls are on. When only one room is
on, automatic routing of the amplifier's power occurs. Now any
room can be a critical listening room.
Fast Installation. The OC-12 does not use wiring or jumpers
to select impedance matching protection. A straightforward
selector switch enables installers to quickly match the number
of speakers to the amplifier without hassle.
Maximum Global Power With Optimatch Volume Controls.
With the protection circuit off, up to eight Optimatch Volume
Controlled rooms can be connected to one MJ Distribution Hub.

By installing a Distribution Hub in a hidden location, the normal
clutter of multi-room wiring behind the stereo system is
eliminated. A single pair of speaker wires runs from the amplifier
to the Distribution Hub, and all room wiring "home runs" to the
Hub. Distribution Hubs can be used with PurePath or Optimatch
Volume Controls, simply choose models without protection for
Optimatch and with protection for PurePath.
