IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
This manual contains important informaon regarding safe operaon of your Avantco snack
oven. Please read thoroughly before equipment setup, operaon, or maintenance. Failure to
comply with regular maintenance guidelines outlined in this manual may void the warranty!
NOTE: Save these instructions for future reference.
Precautions for Usage
• Do not come in direct contact with hot surfaces.
• Avoid cooking oversized foods.
• Keep the top of the unit clear. Do not store items on top of the unit.
• Do not stack ovens on top of each other.
•Donotcookgreasyfoods;greasemaydamagetheheangcoils.
• Only plug into a NEMA 5-15R, 3 prong grounded outlet. Forcing the unit into another
plug may cause an electrical hazard.
• Do not plug in, unplug, or operate the unit with wet hands at risk of electrical shock.
• Keep the unit, plug, and cord clear of liquid and do not immerse any part in liquid.
• When idle or cleaning, unplug the unit from outlet.
•Neverleavetheovenunaendedduringoperaon.
• This unit is not to be used for anything other than its intended use.
• Do not operate this oven outdoors.
•Keepunitandsurroundingareacleananddry.Operateonlyonrm,levelsurfaces
with 12” of clearance on the top and all sides.
• Do not use the unit if it is damaged, if the cord and plug is damaged, or if there is a
malfunconatanyme.
• Children and animals should be kept away from this unit.
•Onlyallowauthorizedprofessionalstoconductrepairs.Incorrectinstallaon,
alteraons,adjustments, and maintenance can lead to property loss and injury.
Always consult a professional.
• Ensure the unit has a designated power supply of correct voltage and is adequate for
connuedusage.
• Opening or removing the cover of this unit will void the warranty.

Assembly Instructions
Before Using Your Oven
PLEASE NOTE: Improper assembly of the flip up handle to the grill could cause
the grill to turn or fall off when moving product, possibly causing injury or burns.
1. Ensure that there is at least 12 inches of clearance on all sides, including the top and back of
the unit.
2.Theovenshouldbeinstalledonaat,sturdysurface.
3. Be sure that the unit is properly grounded and only plugged into a grounded, 3-hole NEMA
5-15Routlettominimizeshockorrehazard.
4.Lineuptheunithandleandpaneltogether,beingsurethatthehandlewillipupwards.
5. To insert the grill, insert the hook into the oval opening on the panel. The hook will be
facing upwards when installing.
6. Place the washer on the bolt and insert into the top round hole through the handle and
panel.
7.Secureghtlywiththeincludedscrewfrombehindthepanel.
Using a small amount of detergent, wash the rack with soapy water. (NOTE: Do not use a
spray or abrasive polishing agent.) Gently wipe down interior walls with a damp cloth. While
washingthisunit,donottouchtheelectricheangelement.Donotsoaktheinsideofthe
oven with water.
Aercleaningasnotedabove,closethedoorandsetmerfor5minutes.
Aerthemerhasresettozero,opentheovendoorinordertoremoveanysmokyresidue
frominsidetheoven.Theheangelementsarewelllubricatedandthisinialusewillhelp
burnotheextragrease.Alightamountofsmokeisnormalduringthisprocess.

Cleaning Instructions
Usage Instructions
NOTE: To maintain cleanliness and increase life of the unit, the oven should be
cleaned daily. Do not immerse the unit in water or any other liquid. If liquid
enters the electrical components of the unit, it may cause a short circuit or
electrical shock.
Use cauon while cleaning as there may be sharp edges on or inside of the unit.
1.Allow unit to completely cool before cleaning.
2.Disconnect the cord from the outlet.
3.Slide out the crumb tray and remove any food debris or other soil.
4.Wipe the crumb tray with a damp cloth.
5.Returnthecrumbtraytoitsproperposion.
6.Wipe the outside of the unit with a damp cloth, then wipe dry. To avoid damage, do not use
abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. If soap or chemical cleaners are used, be sure they are
completelyrinsedawaywithclearwaterimmediatelyaercleaning.Chemicalresiduecould
damage or corrode the surface of the unit.

2.Setthedesiredcookmebyturningtheknobofthemerswitch.
IMPORTANT: MAINTAIN CONSTANT SUPERVISION OF THE OVEN WHILE IN USE!
3.Cauonshouldbeusedwhenremovingfoodfromtheoven.Ovenmisorotherprotecve
gear should be used to avoid skin contact with the hot panel.
4. Unplug the oven when not in use.

Failure to contact the designated locaon prior to obtaining equipment service may void your warranty.
Avantco makes no other warranes, express or implied, statutory or otherwise, and HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED
WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND OF FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
• Equipment sold or used outside the Connental United States
• Use of unltered water (if applicable)
• Avantco has the sole discreon on wearable parts not covered under warranty
• Equipment not purchased directly from an authorized dealer
• Equipment used for residenal or other non-commercial purposes
• Equipment that has been altered, modied, or repaired by anyone other than an authorized service agency
• Equipment where the serial number plate has been removed or altered.
• Damage or failure due to improper installaon, improper ulity connecon or supply, and issues resulng from
improper venlaon or airow.
• Defects and damage due to improper maintenance, wear and tear, misuse, abuse, vandalism, or Act of God.
Any acon for breach of this warranty must be commenced within 6 months of the date on which the breach occurred.
No modicaon of this warranty, or waiver of its terms, shall be eecve unless approved in a wring signed by the
pares. The laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall govern this warranty and the pares’ rights and dues under
it. Avantco shall not under any circumstances be liable for incidental or consequenal damages of any kind, including but
not limited to loss of prots.
Avantco warrants its equipment to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 6 months. This is the
sole and exclusive warranty made by Avantco covering your Avantco brand equipment. A claim under this warranty must
be made within 6 months from the date of purchase of the equipment. Only the equipment’s original purchaser may make
a claim under this warranty. Avantco reserves the right to approve or deny the repair or replacement of any part or repair
request. The warranty is not transferable. Avantco Equipment installed in/on a food truck or trailer will be limited to a period
of 30 days from the original date of purchase.
