Convenient at-the-rack solutions for accessing and controlling your
PCs and servers
The Avocent 1U high LCD rack console solutions provide convenient at-the-rack access to
KVM switches in enterprise data centers and SMB server rooms. You benefit by simplified
control of your PCs and servers. Additionally, rack-based monitoring reduces downtime when
your network is unavailable.
The versatile universal mounting hardware and cable management design enables a 1U
Avocent KVM switch to easily mount behind the console eliminating the need for additional
rack space. A screen closure switch ensures the LCD panel automatically turns off when the
unit is closed, eliminating power waste and heat generation. The USB pass through allows
at-the-rack access to USB media and other USB devices. This is useful when you need
convenient front of the rack connection for USB devices to troubleshoot or perform system/
rack maintenance. When you need direct access that you can depend on, the Avocent LCD
console is a proven solution.
The single-rail solutions are available in 15, 17 and 19 inch models providing control of your
PCs and servers. There are keyboard options with either PS2 or USB connections and
trackball and touchpad pointing devices. All models support 1280x1024 resolutions @ 60Hz.
There is also a 17 inch dual rail model providing independent movement for the keyboard and
LCD.
