Cleaning the Coffee Maker
Quick cleaning process:
Decalcifying Process:
The characteristics of drinking water may vary from one region to another. The
lime particles in hard drinking water are deposited as residues in the machine
and can block the piping and cause malfunction. To prevent this, be sure to
decalcify the machine periodically. As a reference, you should decalcify after
brewing 300 cups of coffee, or if the output of coffee decreases significantly.
Frequency of decalcification will vary depending on the characteristics of the
water and the frequency of usage of your coffee maker.
Decalcification must be done correctly to prevent damage. So it is essential to
follow these instructions.
Important:
- Never clean the machine with vinegar. This will make your coffee taste
bad and might damage the maker.

covered by the warranty. R

according to the manufacturer’s instructions
1. Put a cup in the coffee outlet.

it.

power at the same time. The switch and left
button will turn on.
4. Press the left button and the maker will start the
cleaning process. Estimated working time is 120
seconds. If you need to stop it earlier, press the
left button again.
5. Purge the piping with drinking water before
brewing coffee again.

13
1. Pour the decalcifying liquid mixed with water into the water tank. Make
sure the decalcifying liquid is completely dissolved and the tank is filled
at its maximum level.
2. Make sure there is no capsule or coffee inside the brewing basket in the
coffee maker.
3. Place a large bowl under the coffee outlet to collect the decalcification
diluted and lime residues.
4. Press the lungo (right) button to run decalcifying water as you brew
coffee normally, repeat for several times until your water tank get to its
minimum level.
5. Repeat the process once again to ensure proper decalcification.
6. Purge the piping with drinking water before brewing coffee again.
