1 IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
For the proper use, maintenance and storage of this
battery, it is crucially important that you read and
understand the instructions given in this manual.
To avoid serious injury, risk of fire, explosion and danger
of electric shock or electrocution:
• If the battery pack case is cracked or damaged, DO
NOT insert into the charger. Replace with a new
battery pack.
• Charge the battery pack only with the recommended
charger.
• Use only with BAD BOY 80 series charger.
• DO NOT try to short circuit any terminals of battery
pack.
WARNING
If the battery fluid gets in your eyes, flush immediately
with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Get
immediate medical attention. Do not expose the
battery pack to rain or wet conditions. Do not immerse
the tool, battery pack, or charger in water or other
liquid.
• Do not allow the battery pack or charger to
overheat. If they are warm, allow them to cool down.
Recharge only at room temperature.
• Do not place the battery pack in the sun or
in a warm environment. Keep at normal room
temperature.
• Store in shady, cool and dry environments. If battery
has not been charged for an extended period of
time, charge the battery every two (2) months to
make sure that at least 1 LED light is on.
• The battery pack cells may develop a small leak
under extreme usage or temperature conditions. If
the outer seal is broken and the leakage gets on
your skin:
- Use soap and water to wash immediately.
- Neutralize with lemon juice, vinegar, or other
mild liquid.
• If leakage gets in your eyes, follow instructions
above and seek medical attention.
• Please check prior use, if output voltage and current
of the battery charger is suitable for the battery
pack.
• Use protective packaging when transporting battery
pack.
• Handle with care.
• Keep away from humidity and fire.
• Disconnect the battery pack from the appliance
before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing appliance. Such preventive
safety measures reduce the risk of starting the
appliance accidentally.
• Recharge only with the chargers specified by the
manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type
of battery pack may create a rise of fire when used
with another battery pack.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children without supervision.
2 SAFETY NOTES AND
PRECAUTIONS
• Do not disassemble the battery.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not expose battery to water or salt.
• Battery should be stored in cool, dry location.
• Do not place the battery in high-temperature
locations, such as near a fire, heater, etc.
• Do not reverse the positive terminal and the
negative terminal of the battery.
• When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from
other metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys,
nails screws or other small metal objects that can
make a connection from one terminal to another.
Shorting the battery terminals together may cause
burns or a fire.
• Do not knock, strike or step on the battery.
• Do not solder directly onto the battery or pierce the
battery with nails or other sharp tools.
• In the event that the battery leaks and the fluid gets
into one’s eye, do not rub the eye. Rinse thoroughly
with water for at least 15 minutes.
• Immediately discontinue use of the battery if, while
using, the battery emits an unusual smell, feels
hot, changes color, changes shape, or appears
abnormal in any other way.

The following signal words and meanings are intended

5 PROPOSITION 65
WARNING
This product contains a chemical known to the
state of California to cause cancer, birth defects
or other reproductive harm. Some dust created by
power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling, and other
construction activities contains chemicals known to
cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive
harm. Some examples of these chemicals are:
• Lead from lead-based paints;
• Crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other
masonry products;
• Arsenic and chromium from chemically treated
lumber.
Your risk of exposure to these chemicals varies
depending on how often you do this type of work. To
reduce your exposure to these chemicals, work in a
well-ventilated area, and work with approved safety
equipment, such as dust masks that are specially
designed to filter out microscopic particles.
6 ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE
BATTERY DISPOSAL
WARNING
If the battery pack cracks or breaks, with or without
leaks, do not recharge it and do not use. Dispose of
the battery and replace with a new battery pack. DO
NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR IT! To avoid injury and
risk of fire, explosion, or electric shock, and to avoid
damage to the environment:
• Cover the battery’s terminals with heavy-duty
adhesive tape.
• DO NOT attempt to remove or destroy any of the
battery pack components.
• DO NOT attempt to open the battery pack.
• DO NOT place these batteries in your regular
household trash.
• DO NOT incinerate.
• DO NOT place them where they will become
part of any waste landfill or municipal solid waste
stream.
• Take them to a certified recycling or disposal
center.
7 OPERATION
7.1 CHECK BATTERY CAPACITY
Press the battery capacity indicator (BCI) button. The
lights will illuminate according to the batteries capacity
level. See chart below:

BATTERY PROTECTION FEATURES
This lithium-ion battery packs are designed with
features that protect the lithium-ion cells and maximize
battery life.
If the tool stops during use, release the trigger to reset
and resume operation. If the tool still does not work, the
battery needs to be recharged.
COLD WEATHER OPERATION
The lithium-ion battery pack can be used in
temperatures down to -14°C (6.8°F). Put the battery
pack on a tool and use the tool in a light duty
application. After about a minute, the pack will warm up
and begin operating normally.

9 LIMITED WARRANTY
BAD BOY hereby warranties this product, to the original
purchaser with proof of purchase, for a period of
four (4) years against defects in materials, parts or
workmanship. BAD BOY, at its own discretion will repair
or replace any and all parts found to be defective,
through normal use, free of charge to the customer.
This warranty is valid only for units which have been
used for personal use that have not been hired or
rented for industrial/commercial use, and that have
been maintained in accordance with the instructions in
the owners’ manual supplied with the product from new.
ITEMS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY:
1. Any part that has become inoperative due to
misuse, commercial use, abuse, neglect, accident,
improper maintenance, or alteration; or
2. The unit, if it has not been operated and/or
maintained in accordance with the owner's manual;
or
3. Normal wear;
4. Routine maintenance items such as lubricants,
blade sharpening;
5. Normal deterioration of the exterior finish due to use
or exposure.

1 INSTRUCCIONES
IMPORTANTES DE
SEGURIDAD
Para el uso, mantenimiento y almacenamiento
adecuados de esta batería, es de vital importancia que
lea y entienda las instrucciones que se dan en este
manual.
Para evitar lesiones graves, el riesgo de incendio,
explosión y el peligro de descarga eléctrica o
electrocución:
• Si la carcasa de la batería está agrietada o dañada,
NO la inserte en el cargador. Sustituya por una
batería nueva.
• Cargue la batería únicamente con el cargador
recomendado.
• Utilícela solo con un cargador de la serie BAD BOY
80.
• NO intente cortocircuitar los terminales de la
batería.
AVISO
Si le entra fluido de batería en los ojos, lave
inmediatamente con agua limpia durante al menos
15 minutos. Busque atención médica inmediata. No
exponga la batería bajo a la lluvia o condiciones de
humedad. No sumerja la herramienta, la batería ni el
cargador en agua u otro líquido.
• No permita que la batería o el cargador se
sobrecaliente. Si están calientes, deje que se
enfríen. Recargue únicamente a temperatura
ambiente.
• No coloque la batería al sol o en un entorno cálido.
Manténgala a temperatura ambiente normal.
• Almacene en entornos frescos, secos y a la sombra.
Si la batería no se ha cargado durante un periodo
de tiempo prolongado, cargue la batería cada dos
(2) meses para asegurarse de que se ilumine al
menos 1 LED.
• Las celdas de la batería pueden sufrir una
pequeña fuga en condiciones extremas de uso o
temperatura. Si la junta externa se rompe y la fuga
entra en contacto con la piel:
- Utilice jabón y agua para lavar
inmediatamente.

2 NOTAS Y PRECAUCIONES DE
SEGURIDAD
• No desmonte la batería.
• Mantenga lejos de los niños.
• No exponga la batería al agua o a la sal.
• La batería debe almacenarse en un lugar fresco y
seco.
• No coloque la batería en lugares con temperatura
elevada, como cerca de una chimenea, un
calentador, etc.
• No invierta el terminal positivo y el terminal negativo
de la batería.
• Cuando la batería no esté en uso, manténgala
alejada de otros objetos metálicos como clips,
monedas, llaves, clavos, tornillos u otros objetos
metálicos pequeños que puedan hacer una
conexión entre los terminales. El cortocircuito
de los terminales de la batería puede provocar
quemaduras o un incendio.
• No golpee, sacuda ni pise la batería.
• No suelde directamente sobre la batería ni perfore
la batería con clavos u otras herramientas afiladas.
• En caso de que la batería tenga fugas y el fluido
entre en contacto con los ojos, no se frote los ojos.
Aclare bien con agua durante al menos 15 minutos.
• Deje de usar inmediatamente la batería si, durante
el uso, esta emite un olor anormal, se nota caliente,
cambia de color, cambia de forma o tiene un
aspecto anormal de alguna otra manera.

AVISO
Este producto contiene una sustancia química

Si la batería se agrieta o se rompe, con o sin fugas,
no la recargue ni la utilice. Deseche la batería y
sustitúyala por una batería nueva. ¡NO INTENTE
REPARARLA! Para evitar lesiones y riesgos de
incendio, explosión o descarga eléctrica, así como
para evitar daños al medio ambiente:
• Cubra los terminales de la batería con cinta
adhesiva resistente.
• NO intente retirar o destruir ninguno de los
componentes de la batería.
• NO intente abrir la batería.
• NO ponga estas baterías con la basura doméstica
normal.
• NO incinere.
• NO las deje en lugares donde formarán parte de
vertederos de residuos o flujos de residuos sólidos
urbanos.
• Llévelas a un centro de reciclaje o eliminación
certificado.

7 FUNCIONAMIENTO
7.1 COMPROBACIÓN DE LA
CAPACIDAD DE LA BATERÍA
Pulse el botón indicador de capacidad de la batería
(BCI). Los pilotos se iluminarán según el nivel de
capacidad de las baterías. Véase el siguiente cuadro:

FUNCIONES DE PROTECCIÓN DE LA BATERÍA
Estas baterías de iones de litio se han diseñado con
funciones que protegen las celdas de iones de litio y
maximizan la vida útil de la batería.
Si la herramienta se detiene durante el uso, suelte el
gatillo para restablecer y reanudar el funcionamiento.
Si la herramienta sigue sin funcionar, la batería debe

durante un periodo de cuatro (4) años frente a defectos
en materiales, piezas o mano de obra. A su entera
discreción BAD BOY reparará o sustituirá cualquiera
y todas las piezas que resulten ser defectuosas, con
un uso normal, sin coste alguno para el cliente. Esta
garantía es válida únicamente para unidades que se
hayan utilizado para uso personal que no han sido
arrendadas o alquiladas para uso industrial/comercial y
cuyo mantenimiento se ha realizado de acuerdo con las
instrucciones del manual del propietario suministrado
con el producto nuevo.
ARTÍCULOS NO CUBIERTOS POR LA GARANTÍA:
1. Cualquier pieza que no funcione debido a mal
uso, uso comercial, abuso, negligencia, accidente,
mantenimiento inadecuado o alteración; o
2. La unidad, si no ha sido utilizada o mantenida de
acuerdo con el manual del propietario; o
3. Desgaste normal;
4. Artículos de mantenimiento de rutina tales como
lubricantes, afilado de cuchillas;
5. Deterioro normal del acabado exterior debido al uso
o la exposición.
