Door-telephone speech unit
The TLT 06 is available as an individual
module or as a complete door station
with up to max. 6 buttons.
It is attached to a PABX telephone
system and permits a speech connection
between telephone’s and the TLT 06 door
station.
Nearly every PABX telephone system
with an analogue extension can be used.
The voltage supply of the TLT 06 unit is
provided from the PABX telephone
system.

* The delivery condition is preset to MFV dialling (Jp1).
If pulse dialling is required, the jumper (JP1) must be removed on the
rear side of the circuit board.
Function
After activating a button ( ) the memorized phone-
No. will be dialled with MFV *. After lifting of the called
apparatus there is speech connection. If nobody reports at the
extension to be called, the TLT 06 goes offline after some call
cycles. In case of the apparatus being occupied, the busy tone
recognition also puts the device offline..
A conversation built up is kept upright for at most 1.5 min.. A
beep tone sounds 10 sec. before expiry of this time and one
can respectively extend the conversation time by pressing(#)
by 30 sec.. During a connection you can press the button
combination ( 00 ) which can switch an electrical Door-opener
if used. The access to the electrical Door-key can be protected
by a pin Number if necessary (see programming).
min. 0.5 sec.
The must have a separate power supply.
The TLT 06 has an integrated electronical power switch. The
switch is by dialing
( ). After a further 5 sec. the TLT 06 interrupts the
conversation and goes independantly offline.

Finally the a/b terminal of the TLT 06 should be connected to
the PABX telephone system. After the initial installation the
capacitors on the pcb must be charged before the device can
correctly function. This process can take upto max. 3 min. and
is dependent on the used PABX telephone system. After this
initializing period the individual buttons can be programmed.
The red LED in the Speaker louvre shows when the device is
online and connected to the PABX telephone system.

Lift the Handset of any telephone on the PABX.
Dial the Internal extension number of the TLT 06
and wait until aconnection is built up.

Access to the programming mode is only possible
for authorized persons by use of a PIN -Number
(Personal Identification Number).
There are 6 memories available each of which can
memorize upto 32 digits( N1, N2...) or special signs.
The memories are assigned to the appropriate
buttons ( see connection diagramm ).
As soon as a speech connection to the TLT 06 is
built up, the electronic power switch can be
activated by dialing ( ) or a -Code.00 PIN
For safety against unauthorized intervention, the
entrance to the programming mode is protected by
a PIN-code.
Special signs, depending on the operation can also
be memorized together with the telephone number.
The memorized telephone numbers and settings
are saved in a non volatile memory. This prevents
the loss of data by a voltage failure.
The behavior of the TLT 06 after putting the telephone on-hook can vary and is dependent on the used PABX telephone system. If the period of the
reciept tones seems to be too long, the following short-cut can help. Instead of just putting the telephone on-hook press the star (*) button of the
keypad first and then put the telephone on-hook. A reciept tone sounds as a hand shake of this and approx. 5 secs. after this 4 beep tones, then the
TLT 06 goe’s automatically offline. Normally this procedur is not necessary and the TLT 06 beeps about 3-4 times during busytone detection and
then goe’s offline without any further action.
