Safety Tips:
1) Keep out of reach from children.
2) Make sure you don’t use any other kitchen appliances consuming big amount of powers on the
same circuit that the cooker is using. The cooker consumes up to 1380w of power. If you are not
sure, consult your electrician first.
3) Before use, make sure that the cooker is dry inside out.
4) During cooking, never put hands directly on the lid, or go close to the exhaust vent. Doing so may
cause serious injuries.
5) After cooking, open the lid VERY SLOWLY from the backside of the lid handle, otherwise serious
injuries may occur.
6) Disconnect from power after use.
7) Wipe the cooking pot completely clean and dry before cooking. If cooking pot is not clean, excess
smokes might be generated; if cooking pot is not dry, there might be potential electric shock hazard.
8) If you don’t use the cooker for a long time, wrap and store the cooker in a dry and cool place.
9) If you plan to bring the cooker to travel, same safety rules should be followed on the road trips.
10) Do not expose the cooker in a direct sun light. Doing so may shorten the life of the cooker.
Cleaning Tips:
1) Cooking pot is dish washer safe.
2) After cooking, disconnect from power, let both top and bottom heating elements cool down
completely, use only soft cloth, paper towels to clean the lid and wipe out any condensed water on
the lid and inner chamber.
3) Keep the outside of the cooker clean with soft cloth, paper towels or sponge.

Operation Instruction:
1) Before the first use, carefully inspect all contents in the package. Use a screw driver and securely
assemble the cooking pot handle to the cooking pot.
2) Place the cooker on a counter top. Make sure you read and follow the safety tips.
3) Make sure stirring bar on the outer side of the bottom of the cooking pot has interlocked with the
stirring bar on the bottom of the cooker

4) After connection power cord:
On LCD panel, the Barietah® logo is steadily on and the Bluetooth logo is flashing
5) After turning on cooker by tapping on the ON/OFF touch button:
On LCD panel, the time indicator is on.
6) After selecting a cooking cycle by tapping/toggling on Function touch button:
One of the cooking cycle indicators is on
7) After starting a cooking cycle and preheating is on:
Preheat indicator is flashing.
8) After preheating ends and adding ingredient is on:
Add Ingredient indicator is flashing. Add ingredients at this time, following instructions on your
ingredient bag, or in case there is no instruction, then depending on your cooking cycle, a good rule
of thumb is adding in the following order: cooking oil, meat or seafood or other protein, vegetables,
flavor/sauce, etc, then cover the lid and let cooking cycle run thru. If your cooking instruction
requires adding something during cooking, then open the lid carefully, following the safety tips, add
the ingredients of your choice, and cover the lid let the cycle run thru.
9) After the cooking cycle starts and bottom heating is on:
Cooking time is shown with minutes and seconds. The green heating light is on
10) After cooking cycle starts and both bottom and top heating are on:
Cooking time shown and red heating light is on.
11) After cooking cycle is finished:
A ‘HOT’ message displays in the area where cooking time displayed previously. If you do not
continue to cook, unplug the power cord, clean and dry the cooking, let the cooker completely cool
down, put cooker in a dry place at room temperature. If you do, then clean and dry the cooking pot
thoroughly before cooking another item, make sure you always follow the safety tips.
12) Follow the safety tips, transfer food from cooking pot to a plate/container.
13) Clean the cooker following the safety and cleaning tips.

Use Bluetooth Features:
1) When you are using the built-in Bluetooth features which is indicated by the flashing Bluetooth logo
on the top left side on the panel, make sure the cooker is powered on, the ingredient bags contain
vendor-provided QR code, and you have installed Barietah mobile app (currently Barietah mobile
app supports iOS and Android platforms, mobile app details can be found on the mobile app itself)
2) Make sure no other Bluetooth enabled devices in your home is connected to the cooker. Some
devices, such as some versions of iPhone, do not show certain types of nearby Bluetooth devices it
can connect to, Barietah mobile app provide a ‘Test Connection’ button to let you test if your mobile
device can connect to the cooker. If the connection failed, most likely another device in your home
have already connected to the cooker and locked out any other Bluetooth-enabled devices to
connect to the cooker, find out the device, disconnect it from the cooker, then try again
3) Use Barietah mobile app to scan, validate the QR code on your ingredient bags, and then send
cooking instructions to the cooker via the Bluetooth connection. The cooker then starts the cooking
cycle. After this point follow the instructions above.
4) Barietah mobile app disconnects the Bluetooth connection after successfully transmitting the
cooking instructions to the cooker.
Trouble Shooting Tips:
1) After connecting power cord, the Barietah® logo or the Bluetooth logo are not on.
Possible reasons: power cord may be broken, or the power outlet may not be functioning
2) The food ingredients are either overcooked or undercooked.
Possible reasons: your portion size may be either too little or too much. The cooker produces ideal
results with two to three servings, within 6.5 to 10 minutes, depending on the nature of ingredients.
3) Touch buttons are malfunctioning.
Possible reasons: The cooker may need to reset, simply unplug and re-plug the power cord; or the
cooker might have caught some moisture, simply let the cooker dry thoroughly before trying again.
