• Adjust cutting and working position on
carrying strap by using strap adjuster.
• To find the perfect position for yourself do
a few swings with device without engine
running.
• Never carry out following operations us-
ing brush cutter, As those can cause bad
injuries or damage machine:
-chaffing of hedges and branches

GETTING STARTED
• When starting engine it is possible that
blade is turning. Make sure that when
starting engine blade is not touching any
objects.
• Before getting started always check fol-
lowing:
• Tightness of petrol system, proper condi-
tion of safety devices and cutter, Fast
seating of all screws.
• Always observe local regulations on
noise protection.
Filling in petrol:
• Engine needs a petrol-oil mixture in mix-
ture ratio of 25:1.
• Petrol has to be mixed before filling in
tank. For petrol-oil mixture a quality 2
stroke engine oil is needed.
Starting cold engine:
• Place device on an even, solid ground.
• Open choke lever
• Press petrol pump at carburettor about 5
times so petrol is being sucked in.
• Set On -/ Off switch to on „I“ position
• Fix speed lever. For this you just press
speed lever arrestor first and afterwards
speed lever. By pressing arrestor at the
same time you can arrest speed lever.
• Now hold device tight and pull recoil
starter out until you can feel first resis-
tance. Now pull recoil starter briskly
through. Do not allow recoil starter to kick
back as this could cause damage to de-
vice.
• Engine has now started. Close choke
lever after about 10 seconds and allow
engine to warm up a bit.
• Important! Due to fixed speed lever cut-
ting blade will start turning as soon as
engine has been started. When pressing
speed lever engine will be set back to idle
running speed.
• In case engine does not start, please
repeat steps mentioned above.
• In case engine does not start even after
several tries please read chapter
„Trouble shooting“.
Starting warm engine:
• Place device on an even, solid ground.
• Set On -/ Off switch to On „I“ position
• Fix speed control lever. For this you just
press speed lever arrestor first and after-
wards speed lever. By pressing arrestor
at the same time you can arrest speed
lever.
• Now hold device tight and pull recoil
starter out until you can feel first resis-
tance. Now pull recoil starter briskly
through. Do not allow recoil starter to kick
back as this could cause damage to de-
vice.
• Device should start now. In case brush
cutter is not starting within 6 drags repeat
steps on chapter starting cold engine.
Switch off engine:
• Put speed control lever back to basic
position so engine is running in idle
speed. Allow engine to cool down for
about 2 minutes.
• Set On -/ off switch to „0“ position.
Engine and main tube:
• Direct base frame to engine unit and fix
both with help of the 4 screws included in
delivery . Fasten screws with equal force.
