The bernette 340 Deco will enrich
your world with the wonders of
embroidery. Everything you need
to start creating is right here.
A hundred carefully selected
embroidery designs are built in to
get you off to a flying start. And
you can choose from a virtually
unlimited range of additional
embroidery designs with the help
of the USB port, compatible USB
sticks and embroidery cards.
The bernette 340 features an
automatic thread cutter and
automatic needle threading.
Resize and then reposition designs
by simply touching them and
dragging them across the large,
clear touch screen. Rotate in
1° steps. And create designs up
to 7.9 by 5.5 inches with the
standard hoops.

Free Arm
The bernette 340 boasts a free arm that
helps you embroider tubular textiles such
as trouser legs or sleeves. We recommend
using the optional embroidery hoop along
with the free arm.
Upper-Thread Sensor and
Lower-Thread Check
The upper-thread sensor
automatically stops the embroidery
process if the upper thread breaks
or when the spool is empty. The
lower thread is also checked before
each embroidery step. The result:
guaranteed reliable embroidering.
Thread-Color Indication
Built-In Color Charts
Thread-color indication gives you color
recommendations for each design. Built-in
charts convert colors to threads from four
leading manufacturers. Choose the one
you prefer. Exclusively available is a mode
displaying colors the designer imagined—
ideal for using up thread remnants.
Drag & Drop
Move and reposition designs with
the greatest of ease by simply
touching them and dragging them
across the screen.
Automatic Needle Threading
The automatic needle threader makes
threading the machine child’s play. A few
quick and easy steps, and the thread is
through the needle’s eye.
