1 Safety warnings
1.1 Warning
THIS appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
IF the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
DO not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this
appliance.

•Keep away from heat and avoid direct sunlight or places near a heat
source, like an oven or a radiator.
•Do not place the refrigerator in moist or damp places to prevent
rust or reduce the insulating function of the electrical components
and food storage compartments.
•Place the refrigerator in a dry and well-ventilated indoor area.

Leveling the refrigerator

1. Before the operation, it shall be ensured that the refrigerator is disconnected from power source.
Before adjusting the leveling feet, precautions shall be taken to prevent any personal injury.
2. Adjusting procedures, see figure above:
A. Turn the feet clockwise to raise the refrigerator.
B. Turn the feet counterclockwise to lower the refrigerator.
C. Adjust the right and left feet based on the procedures above to a horizontal level.

Precautions before operation
1. Before the operation, it shall be ensured that the refrigerator is disconnected from power source.
Before adjusting the door, precautions shall be taken to prevent any personal injury.
2. Raise the lower door up to the level of the higher door.
3. Insert the supplied fastener ring using pliers in the gap between the hinge-grommet and the lower hinge.
The number of fasten-rings you will need to insert depends on the gap. See figure above.

The cantilever rack could be adjusted to the proper height as required by food.
Please adjust the cantilever rack by following the arrows as shown in the diagram.
Raise it upward first and then take it out by tilting it upward. During installation,
put the upper end of the fixed leg into one of the upper slots on the supporting iron first
and then put the lower end of the fixed leg into the third slot on the lower part of the supporting iron.

2.6 Installing the water filter
1. When the refrigerator is used for the first time, press on both sides of the filter cover
by hand and open the filter cover downward. See figure above.
3. After removing the packaging, install the filter at the joint position by rotating cockwise
until it is securely locked.
4. When the filter sign illuminates on the display panel, replace the water filter. The method
of removing the filter element is the same as that of removing the dustproof plug.
5. The filter is recommended to be replaced every six months. Make sure to turn off the water main
before changing the filter and follow the instructions illustrated above. The replacement water filter
can be ordered at www.encompassparts.com, Part Number: Z300357.
6. If a centralized water filtration system is present, it is possible to use the ice maker and water
dispenser without installing the water filter in the refrigerator. In this case, do not remove the
dustproof plug.

Refrigerator
- The refrigerator is suitable for storing a variety of fruits, vegetables, beverages, and other foods
consumed in the short term.
- Cooked foods should not be put in the refrigerator until cooled down to room temperature.
- Foods are recommended to be sealed in appropriate containers before placing them inside the refrigerator.
- The glass shelves can be adjusted up or down for a desired storage space and ease of use.
- To optimize the humidity control of the crisper drawers, slide the selector to the left for fruit (Low) and
to the right for vegetables (High). The fruit or vegetable icon will indicate which setting has been selected.
Freezer Drawer
- The freezer drawer may keep food fresh for a long time and is primarily used to store frozen foods.
- The freezer drawer is suitable for storing meat, fish, frozen entrées and intended for foods that will not be
consumed in the short term.
- It is recommended to divide large cuts of meat into smaller portions for easier defrosting.
- To prevent spoilage and food-borne illness, consume all foods before the expiration date.
Note: Storage of too much food during operation after the initial connection to power may adversely affect
the freezing performance of the appliance. Food stored should not block the air outlet, or otherwise,
the freezing performance will also be adversely affected.
Temp Zone
The Temp Zone temperature setting can be selected among -1°C/30°F, 1°C/34°F, 3°C/37°F and
5°C/41°F, and the appropriate mode can be chosen according to the needs of different foods as below:
- MEAT & FISH mode is set at -1°C/30°F, suitable for meat and fish.
- BEVERAGES mode is set at 1°C /34°F, suitable for beverages.
- DELI mode is set at 3°C/37°F, suitable for cheese and cold cuts.
- WINE mode is set at 5°C/41°F, suitable for wine.
Stainless steel cooling plate:
As stainless steel conduction is fast and uniform, the food on the cooling plate can achieve rapid and
even refrigeration.
The water vapor will adhere to the cooling plate to form a water mist, which will help keep the food moist and
prevent it from drying out.

When the power is on for the first time, the icons will be semi-bright and fully displayed and scrolled from left to right.
When the power is connected for the first time, the icons will be illuminated, the start-up chime will sound, and the
display will enter regular operation.
When the appliance is powered on for the first time, the refrigerator, freezer, and Quattro Temp Zone temperature
are set at 39°F/0°F/37°F, respectively.
Under normal conditions, if no doors are opened and no keys are pressed for 30 seconds, the display will be locked,
and the display will turn off after 30 seconds. If any key is pressed when the display is off, the display screen will
illuminate and show the current status.
Ice/Water Dispenser display and control
When the refrigerator is powered on for the first time, the dispenser display and control will be fully displayed for 3
seconds and then enter normal operation display (water dispensing function is the default option when the refrigerator
is powered on for the first time).
Lock/Unlock
To unlock the display panel keys, press the LOCK/UNLOCK key and hold for 3 seconds until an audible chime
sounds indicating the appliance controls are unlocked. To lock the display panel, press the LOCK/UNLOCK key
and hold for 3 seconds.
Refrigeratortemperaturesetting
Press the FRIDGE TEMP key to control the refrigerating temperature, and then press the "-" and "+" temperature
control keys to adjust the refrigerator's temperature. When the "-" key is pressed once, the temperature will drop
by 1°C/1°F. After reaching 1°C/34°F, the temperature display will go back to 7˚C/44˚F. When the "+" key is pressed
once, the temperature will rise by 1°C/1°F. After reaching 7°C/44°F, the temperature display will go down to 1˚C/34˚F.
The temperature setting will take effect after locking.

Press the
QUATTRO
TEMP ZONE key to select one of the four preset temperature modes.
Upon every press, the temperature mode switches from MEAT & FIS
/30˚H (-1˚C
F) to
BEVERAGES (1˚C/34˚F)
to DELI (3˚C/37˚F) to WINE (5˚C/41˚F), and a corresponding
tem ep rature is indicated at the
Temperature Zone display. The settings will take effect after
locking.
Freezer drawer
Press the FREEZER TEMP key to select the freezer drawer temperature, and then press
the "-" and "+" temperature control keys to adjust the temperature of the freezer drawer. When
the "-" key is pressed once, the temperature will drop by 1°C/1°F. After reaching -22°C/-7°F,
the temperature display goes back to -14˚C/7˚F. The "+" key is pressed once the temperature
will rise by 1°C/1°F. After reaching -14°C/7°F, the temperature display goes down to -22˚C/-7˚F.
The setting will take effect after locking.
Temperature mode
To change the temperature default mode to Celsius or Fahrenheit, press the "+" and "-" keys simultaneously
and hold for 3 seconds.
Water/ice maker dispenser selection
Touch the key to select the desired mode; the indicator light will illuminate.
Note: Water dispenses immediately after the lever is pressed, and ice (cubed and crushed) dispenses 3 seconds
after the lever is pressed.
Ice Maker On/Off
When the ice maker is turned on, the ICE MAKER ON/OFF light will illuminate; when the ice maker is turned off,
the ICE MAKER ON/OFF light will turn off after a 3 seconds delay.
Press the ICE MAKER key to turn on the backlight and the ice maker; press the ICE MAKER key again to turn off
the backlight and the ice maker. It will take effect after locking.
Note: The ice maker will release ice into the ice-making chamber when the ICE MAKER is on, even if the ice
storage box is removed.
Replacing the water filter
Replace the water filter every 6 months or if a noticeable reduction in the water flow occurs. When the filter is used
for more than 6 months and the WATER FILTER backlight flashes, press the WATER-FILTER key for 3 seconds to
reset the alarm and re-time it. The buzzer rings 3 times at the same time.
Boost mode setting
Super Cool:
Press and hold the FRIDGE TEMP key for 3 seconds to enter the SUPER COOL mode until the icon of the
refrigerator turns blue. The SUPER COOL mode will take effect after being locked. When SUPER COOL mode is
activated, the refrigerator temperature is automatically set at 1°C/34°F. When the SUPER COOL mode is
deactivated, the refrigerator temperature automatically returns to the temperature set before the SUPER COOL
mode was activated.
Super Freeze:
Press and hold the FREEZER TEMP key to enter the SUPER FREEZE mode, and the icon of the freezer drawer
turns blue. The SUPER FREEZE mode will take effect after being locked; the freezer temperature is automatically
set at -22°C/-7°F. When the SUPER FREEZE mode is deactivated, the freezer temperature automatically returns
to the temperature set before the activation of the SUPER FREEZE mode.
