6.5’ Tinsel Tree Instructions
Included Parts:
Pre-lighted Tree Top.
Middle Section of Pre-lighted Tree.
Bottom Section of Pre-lighted Tree.
Replaceable lights and fuses.
Collapsible Stand with 3 triangular screws attached in a plastic bag.
Caution –Do not overload: Connect a maximum of three series or series parallel connected lighting
strings or decorative outfits to each load fitting. Do not interconnect different types of products.
Caution Notice: Before assembling the tree, test each section to ensure lights are working properly. Take
the plug stack from each section and plug it into an extension cord or power strip. If there is a light set
that does not light refer to the Trouble Shooting section below. If all light strands are working properly
continue setup. Repeat for each section.
Setup Instructions:
Step 1: Position and Set-Up Tree Stand
a. Place tree stand in desired location.
b. Unfold tree stand until the legs are perpendicular and the screw holes are aligned.
c. Insert the tree screws into the screw holds and turn 3 –4 turns only (if the screws are inserted too
far you will not be able to fully insert the tree pole).

Step 2: Insert the Bottom Section into the Tree Stand
a. Insert the bottom tree section (bottom section is marked with “C”) into the stand.
b. Let the hinged branches fall into place.
c. Adjust the branch tips for desired appearance (some people chose to perform this step when the
tree is fully assembled).
d. Tighten screws in stand to secure the tree.
Step 3: Insert the Middle Tree Section into the Bottom Tree Section
a. Remove plastic cap at the end of the metal pole.
b. Insert the middle section into the bottom section (lower middle section is marked with “B”).
c. Find the plug from the Middle Tree Section that plugs into the Bottom Tree Section and connect the
plugs.
d. Adjust the branch tips for desired appearance (some people chose to perform this step when the
tree is fully assembled)
Step 4: Shape the Tree Top and Insert into the Middle Section
a. Adjust the tips and shape the treetop before inserting into the middle section.
b. Insert treetop into middle section (tree top is marked with “A”).
c. Find the plug from the Tree Top that plugs into the Middle Tree Section and connect the plugs.
d. Plug the tree into the electrical outlet in the wall.
e. The tree top can be rotated as part of the tree shaping process. For best results rotate the tree top
so the bottom layer of branches on the tree top is offset from top layer of branches on the middle
layer.

Step 5: Make final adjustments to tree tips and decorate if desired.
Please note: a light strand will go out only if there is a missing, damaged, or loose connection in the
socket of the light; if a bulb is burnt out the strand will stay light.
Safety First:
Unplug power supply cord when replacing lamps and fuses.
NEVER change fuse with the power supply cord plug in wall duplex.
Replace with GKI/Bethlehem mini lights only.
Avoid touching electric carrying parts with sharp or heavy object.
Care Instructions:
Be sure to replace burned out bulbs with replacement bulbs (included) as bulbs burn out. This will
extend the life of the remaining bulbs.
When not in use store in a cool dry location.
Trouble Shooting:
If a strand of lights is out this means that there is a missing bulb or a loose connection in the strand on
one of the bulbs. Follow these steps to check your strand.
a. Check to be sure that all the cords are plugged into each other.
b. If the item still fails to light after checking all plugs are plugged in, check the fuses in each light
strand –use only 125 volt fuse, 5 amp maximum.
Tree Storage:
Step 1: Unplug power cord.
Step 2: Remove decorations.
Step 3: Lift each section directly up.
Step 4: Separate the tree sections (starting at the top). Fold branches up to avoid crushing the tips. You
can tie the branches up to make the section easier to handle and set up in future years.
Step 5: Unscrew tree stand to release the bottom section. Fold stand and tighten screws back into stand to
prevent losing the screws.
Step 6: Store in cool dry area.
