AVVERTENZE
Questo apparecchio è destinato unicamente all’uso
domestico per bollire acqua, secondo le modalità

Esempi di apparecchi per ambiente domestico sono
apparecchi per tipiche funzioni domestiche, usati in
ambito domestico, che possono essere utilizzati per

negli uffici e in altri ambienti professionali;

- da clienti di alberghi, motel e altri ambienti di
carettere residenziale;
- in ambienti del tipo bed and breakfast.
Ogni altro uso è da considerarsi improprio e
pericoloso. Il costruttore non potrà essere ritenuto
responsabile di eventuali danni derivanti da uso
improprio, erroneo e irresponsabile e/o da riparazioni
effettuate da personale non qualificato.
L'utilizzatore non deve Non lasciare l’apparecchio
senza sorveglianza quando è collegato
all'alimentazione.
Utilizzare l’apparecchio solo con ed esclusivamente
con le parti in dotazione, inclusa la base di
connessione.
Utilizzare l’apparecchio solo su superfici di appoggio
stabili e sicure, lontano dai bordi, e solo in ambienti
chiusi. Non lasciarlo esposto agli ambienti atmosferici
(sole, pioggia).
Riempire d’acqua la brocca oltre il livello minimo (0,5l.)
e entro il livello massimo (1,7l.), indicati sul lato della
brocca. Se la quantità eccede l’acqua in ebollozione
fuoriesce dal beccuccio e può causare ustioni, ma se
fosse inferiore l’apparecchio si danneggia.

Durante il funzionamento la brocca si scalda: toccare
solo l’impugnatura e i tasti. Evitare il contatto col
corpo della brocca durante e per un certo tempo dopo
l’uso, ma attendere che si sia raffreddato.
L’acqua calda può causare gravi ustioni. Prestare
attenzione quando l’apparecchio contiene acqua.
Non riempire o aggiungere acqua se la brocca è
connessa alla base.
Non spostare l’apparecchio quando è in funzione.
Non aprire il coperchio mentre l’acqua sta bollendo.
Assicurarsi che l’apparecchio sia spento prima di
rimuoverlo dal suo supporto.
Non far funzionare l’appareccchio a vuoto per evitare
di danneggiarlo.
Non utilizzare per riscaldare minestre, o cibi, o altre
sostanze liquide.
Durante il funzionamento non inserire mani o qualsiasi
oggetto all’interno della brocca, non infilare nulla fra
brocca e base.
Scollegare sempre l’apparecchio dalla presa di
corrente se lasciato incustodito, e anche prima di
assemblare smontare pulire l’apparecchio, e se non
fosse in funzione.
Non toccare l’apparecchio con mani o piedi bagnati.
L’apparecchio potrà essere usato da bambini di età
superiore agli 8 anni e da persone con ridotte capacità
fisiche, sensoriali o mentali, o prive di esperienza e
della necessaria conoscenza, purché sotto
sorveglianza oppure dopo che le stesse abbiano
ricevuto istruzioni relative all’uso sicuro

dell’apparecchio e alla comprensione dei pericoli ad
esso inerenti. I bambini non devono giocare con
l’apparecchio. La pulizia e la manutenzione
dell’apparecchio destinata ad essere effettuata
dall’utilizzatore non deve essere effettuata da bambini
senza sorveglianza.
I bambini non devono utilizzare l’apparecchio come
gioco.
Attenzione: quando si utilizzano apparecchi elettrici,
occorre sempre rispettare le precauzioni di sicurezza
di base per evitare i rischi di incendio, di scosse
elettriche e di lesioni fisiche.
Non tirare il cavo di alimentazione o l’apparecchio
stesso per disinserire la spina dalla presa di corrente.
Non tirare il cavo per spostare l’apparecchio.
Al fine di evitare ogni rischio di scossa elettrica, non
immergere mai la spina, il cordone elettrico e
l’apparecchio nell’acqua od in nessun altro liquido.
Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, deve essere
sostituito dal costruttore o dal suo servizio assistenza
tecnica o comunque da una persona con qualifica
similare, in modo da prevenire ogni rischio.
Questo apparecchio non è destinato a essere fatto
funzionare per mezzo di un temporizzatore esterno o
con un sistema di comando a distanza separato, per
evitare il rischio di incendio nel caso l’apparecchio sia
coperto o sia posizionato in modo non corretto.
INSTALLAZIONE
Dopo aver tolto l’imballaggio, assicurarsi dell’integrità dell’apparecchio; in caso di
dubbio non utilizzarlo e rivolgersi a personale professionalmente qualificato. Gli
elementi di imballaggio (sacchetti in plastica, polistirolo espanso, chiodi, ecc.)

non devono essere lasciati alla portata di mano di bambini in quanto potenziali
fonti di pericolo; smaltirli secondo le norme vigenti.
Prima di collegare l’apparecchio controllare che i valori di tensione riportati sulla
targa dati corrispondano a quelli della rete elettrica, e che la presa sia dotata di
efficace messa a terra. In caso di incompatibilità tra la presa e la spina
dell’apparecchio, far sostituire la presa con altra di tipo adatto da personale
professionalmente qualificato, il quale accerti che la sezione dei cavi della presa
sia idonea alla potenza assorbita dall’apparecchio. Verificare che sulla linea
elettrica non siano collegati altri apparecchi ad elevato assorbimento, per evitare
sovraccarichi e rischi di incendio. In generale è sconsigliato l’uso di adattatori e/o
prolunghe; se il loro uso si rendesse indispensabile, devono essere conformi alle
vigenti norme di sicurezza e la loro portata di corrente (ampères) non deve essere
inferiore a quella massima dell’apparecchio.
Prima di ogni utilizzo verificare che l’apparecchio sia in buono stato, che il
cordone elettrico non sia danneggiato: in caso di dubbio rivolgersi a personale
professionalmente qualificato.
La presa di corrente deve essere accessibile in modo da poter disinserire con
facilità la spina in caso di emergenza.
L’apparecchio non deve essere posizionato immediatamente al di sotto di una
presa di corrente.
Si raccomanda di tenere l’apparecchio lontano dal bordo del piano di lavoro e
fuori dalla portata dei bambini.
Posizionare l’apparecchio:
-lontano da altre fonti di calore (ad es. forni, fornelli, ecc. ), da materiali
infiammabili (sacchetti in plastica, tende ecc.), materiale esplosivo (bombolette
spray) e da materiali che possono deformarsi con il calore; verificare che lo
spazio libero attorno all’apparecchio sia di almeno 40 cm.
-su un piano d’appoggio orizzontale e ben stabile, asciutto, la cui superficie non
sia delicata (ad esempio mobili laccati, tovaglie, ecc), in posizione dove non
possa subire urti, e a debita distanza dal bordo del mobile, in modo che non
possa cadere.
-lontano da contenitori di liquidi, ad esempio lavelli ecc. Nel caso dovesse
inavvertitamente bagnarsi o immergersi in un liquido, per prima cosa
disattivare la presa di corrente spegnendo l’interruttore del quadro elettrico, e
solo dopo togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente. Asciugarlo con cura sia
spina che la presa di corrente e solo dopo riattivare la corrente alla presa. Re-
inserire la spina nella presa di corrente, e poi utilizzare l’apparecchio. In caso di
dubbio, rivolgersi a personale professionalmente qualificato.
Assicurarsi che il cavo sia posizionato correttamente e che non sia a contatto con
parti calde o spigoli taglienti, né avvolto intorno all’apparecchio o attorcigliato su
se stesso e non si impigli, onde evitare una caduta dell’apparecchio.
In caso di guasto o cattivo funzionamento spegnere l’apparecchio e farlo
controllare da personale professionalmente qualificato; le riparazioni effettuate

da personale non qualificato possono essere pericolose e fanno decadere la
garanzia.
USO
Il bollitore è dotato di:
-Base con connettore 360°, e con avvolgicavo sul fondo
-Interruttore 0/I con tasto illuminato: se abbassato “I” aziona la resistenza
(il tasto si illumina), e al bollire dell’acqua automaticamente spegne la
resistenza e scatta in pos. “0” (il tasto si spegne). L’interruttore può
essere azionato anche manualmente
-Sistema di controllo della temperatura dell’acqua
-Brocca con indicatore livello acqua: 0,5l. è la capacità minima e 1,7l. la
massima utilizzabile.
-Il Coperchio che si apre automaticamente premendo il tasto
sull’impugnatura, e riabbassato si chiude a scatto.
-Filtro rimovibile all’interno del beccuccio.
Primo utilizzo
Svolgere dalla base il cordone elettrico, completamente, e posizionarlo entro
l’asola di uscita laterale; verificare che la base appoggi perfettamente sul piano e
collegare la spina alla presa di corrente.
Lavare il solo interno della brocca e il filtro seguendo le sistruzioni al paragrafo
“Pulizia e manutezione”: aprire il coperchio premendo il tasto sull’impugnatura,
rimuovere il filtro, e dopo il lavaggio e un accurato risciacquo riposizionare il filtro
e inserire nella brocca 1,7l. d’acqua (livello max), e chiudere il coperchio. Porre la
brocca sulla base con connettore, in modo preciso, abbassare l’interruttore 0/I:
quando l’acqua bolle automaticamente l’interruttore si spegne.
Tramite l’impugnatura, rimuovere la brocca e svuotare inclinando gradualmente
in modo che l’acqua fuoriesca solo dal beccuccio: mantenere chiuso il coperchio,
e prestare estrema attenzione per evitare tracimazioni e quindi scottature.
Eventualmente ripetere una o due volte l’operazione prima di fare uso dell’acqua.
Funzionamento
Ripetere le operazioni qui sopra descritte: si evidenzia che la quantità di acqua
inserita nella brocca deve essere entro i livelli minimo e massimo.
Qualora si desideri acqua ad una temperatura non elevata, interrompere il
riscaldamento spegnendo l’interruttore.
Terminato l’impiego: rimuovere la brocca dalla base prima di versare l’acqua e
togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente.
Dopo l’uso, non lasciare l’acqua nella brocca ma sgocciolarla completamente, al
fine di evitare che l’acqua ristagni e per ridurre il deposito di calcare.
Per lunghi periodi di inattività, togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente. Avvolgere
il cavo di alimentazione attorno ai supporti situati sulla base.

Dispositivo termico di sicurezza
Il bollittore è dotato di un dispositivo termico di sicurezza che interrompe la
resistenza in caso di surriscaldamento, se il bollittore viene accesso
accidentalmente a vuoto. Per ripristinare il funzionamento, è necessario
spegnere l’apparecchio, togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente ed attendere che
si sia raffreddata (circa 10/15 minuti); inseire acqua all’interno del contenitore,
collegare la spina, ed accendere l’apparecchio tramite l’interruttore in pos. I.
Disincrostazione
Per prolungare la durata del bollitore, rimuovere regolarmente il calcare (una
volta al mese o più frequentemente se l’acqua è molto dura)
1. Riempire d’acqua il bollitore per circa tre quarti della sua capacità massima e
portare all’ebollizione.
2. Dopo aver spento il bollitore (togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente),
aggiungere aceto bianco (8 gradi) o sostanze disincrostante (specifiche per
la pulizia dei bollitori) fino al livello massimo (1.7L/max).
3. Lasciate riposare la soluzione per circa 4/5 ore.
4. Svuotare il bollitore e risciacquate con cura.
5. Riempire il bollitore con acqua pulita e portare ad ebollizione.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Attenzione: prima di pulire l’apparecchio spegnerlo, disinserire la spina dalla
presa di corrente ed attendere che si sia raffreddato. La brocca necessita una
pulizia accurata e frequente, questo evita formazione del calcare e di cattivi
odori.
Non immergere l’apparecchio (brocca e base) in acqua o in altro liquido, non
lavarlo sotto il getto d’acqua o in lavastoviglie
Lavare il solo interno della brocca e il filtro con acqua calda ed un normale
detergente per stoviglie, risciacquarli con cura e farli sgocciolare. Non utilizzare
polveri, prodotti abrasivi, corrosivi o pagliette metalliche. Prima di impiegarlo
verificare che le parti elettriche all’esterno (interruttore e commutatore) siano
perfettamente asciutti.
Per la pulizia esterna del bollittore e della base utilizzare un panno morbido
leggermente umido; non utilizzare pagliette metalliche o prodotti abrasivi. Non
può essere lavato in lavastoviglie e neppure sotto il getto d’acqua: nel caso le
parti elettriche (inclusi cordone e spina) si bagnino, asciugare con cura e
completamente prima dell’utilizzo.
Per la pulizia del filtro, rimuoverlo dal bollitore e lavarlo sotto il getto d’acqua
(vedi figura a lato), prima di inserirlo verificare che sia asciutto.
Se si decide di non utilizzare più l’apparecchio, si raccomanda di renderlo
inoperante tagliando il cavo di alimentazione (prima assicurarsi d’aver tolto la
spina dalla presa di corrente), e di rendere innocue quelle parti che sono
pericolose qualora utilizzate per gioco dai bambini.

Avvertenze per il corretto smaltimento del prodotto ai sensi della Direttiva
Europea direttiva 2011/65/UE.
Alla fine della sua vita utile il prodotto non deve esser smaltito insieme ai rifiuti
urbani.
Può essere consegnato presso gli appositi centri di raccolta differenziata
predisposti dalle amministrazioni comunali, oppure presso i rivenditori che
forniscono questo servizio.
Smaltire separatamente un elettrodomestico consente di evitare possibili
conseguenze negative per l’ambiente e per la salute derivanti da un suo
smaltimento inadeguato e permette di recuperare i materiali di cui è composto al
fine di ottenere un importante risparmio di energia e di risorse. Per rimarcare
l’obbligo di smaltire separatamente gli elettrodomestici, sul prodotto è riportato
il marchio del contenitore di spazzatura mobile barrato. Lo smaltimento abusivo
del prodotto da parte dell’utente comporta l’applicazione delle sanzioni
amministrative previste dalla normativa vigente.

SAFETY NOTICES

surfaces, well away from the edges, and only indoors.
Never leave it exposed to the weather (sun, rain).
Fill the kettle above the minimum level (0.5l.) and not
above the maximum level (1.7l.) marked on the side. If
the kettle is overfilled, the boiling water overflows
from the spout and may cause scalding; underfilling
damages the appliance.
The kettle heats up during operation: only touch the
handle and control buttons. Do not touch the body of
the kettle during and for some time after use; wait for
it to cool.
Hot water may cause serious burns. Take care when
there is water in the appliance.
Do not fill with or add water if the kettle is connected
to the base.
Never move the appliance when in operation.
Do not open the lid while the water is boiling.

Make sure that the appliance is switched off before
removing it from its base.
Do not operate the appliance empty, as this may
damage it.
Do not use the appliance for heating soups, foods or
other liquids.
During operation, do not insert your hands or any
object into the kettle and do not insert anything
between the kettle and the base.
Always disconnect the appliance from the power
socket if it is left unattended, before assembling,
dismantling or cleaning it, and if it is not in operation.
Do not touch the appliance with wet hands or feet.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they
are older than 8 and supervised.
Children must not play with the appliance.
Warning: when using electrical appliances, always
comply with the basic safety precautions to avoid the

Do not pull the power cord or the appliance itself to
remove the plug from the power socket.

To avoid all risk of electric shock, never immerse the
plug, the power cord or the appliance in water or any
other liquid.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or its aftersales service, or by a
person with similar qualifications, to prevent all risks.
This appliance is not intended for operation by means
of an external timer or with a separate remote control
system, to avoid the risk of fire if the appliance is
covered or not correctly positioned.
INSTALLATION
After removing the packaging, check that the appliance is intact; if in doubt, do
not use it and call in qualified staff. Packaging components (plastic bags,
expanded polystyrene, nails, etc.) must not be left within reach of children since
they are potentially hazardous; dispose of them in accordance with the current
law.
Before connecting the appliance, check that the voltage values marked on the
nameplate are the same as those of the electrical mains, and that the power
socket is properly earthed. If the appliance's plug is not compatible with the
socket, have the socket replaced with another of suitable type by qualified staff,
who must ensure that the socket's wire gauge is suitable for the appliance's
power draw. Check that there are no other appliances drawing large amounts of
power on the electrical line, to avoid overloads and fire risks. In general, the use
of adapters and/or extension leads is not recommended; if their use is
unavoidable, they must comply with current safety regulations and their current
rating (amps) must be no lower than the maximum current draw of the appliance.
Before each use, check that the appliance is in good condition and ensure that
the power cord is not damaged and do not switch it on unless certain it is intact:
if in doubt, call in qualified staff.
The power socket must be accessible so that the plug can be removed easily in
an emergency.
The appliance must not be placed just below a power socket.
Take care to keep the appliance well away from the edge of the worktop and out
of reach of children.
Place the appliance:
-well away from other heat sources (e.g. ovens, hobs, etc.), flammable materials
(plastic bags, curtains, etc.), explosive materials (spray cans) and materials

which may warp in heat; check that there is an empty space of at least 40 cm
around the appliance.
-on a firm, horizontal, dry surface which does not have a delicate finish (e.g.
lacquered kitchen units, tablecloths, etc.), in a position where it cannot be
knocked, and far enough from the edge of the unit to ensure that it cannot fall
off.
-well away from containers holding liquids, such as sinks, etc. If it is accidentally
wet or immersed in a liquid, first disconnect the power supply by turning off
the control panel switch, and only then remove the plug from the power
socket. Dry both the plug and the power socket carefully before reactivating
the power socket. Reconnect the plug to the power socket and then use the
appliance. If in doubt, call in qualified staff.
Make sure that the cable is correctly positioned and is not in contact with hot
parts or sharp edges, or wound around the appliance or twisted, and does not
become entangled, to prevent the appliance from falling.
In case of a fault or malfunction, switch the appliance off and have it checked by
qualified staff; repairs by unqualified staff may be dangerous and lead to the loss
of warranty cover.
USE
The kettle is complete with:
-Base with 360° connector, and cable reel underneath
-Illuminating button 0/I switch: press down to “I” to start the heating
element (button illuminates) and when the water boils the element
automatically switches off and the button springs back to "0" (light goes
out). The switch can also be operated by hand.
-Water temperature control system
-Kettle with water level gauge: 0.5l. is the minimum capacity and 1.7l. the
maximum filling level.
-The lid is opened automatically by pressing the button on the handle,
and snaps closed when lowered.
-Removable filter in spout.
First use
Completely unwind the power cord from the base and fit it into the slot on the
side; check that the base is resting firmly on the worktop and connect the plug to
the power socket.
Wash the inside of the kettle only and the filter, following the instructions in the
"Cleaning and maintenance" point. Open the lid by pressing the button on the
handle, remove the filter, and after washing and thoroughly rinsing, refit the
filter, fill the kettle with 1.7l. of water (max level) and close the lid. Fit the kettle
precisely onto the connector base and press the 0/I button: when the water boils,
the button springs back up automatically.
Take hold of the handle, remove the kettle and pour by tilting gradually so that
the water flows from the spout only: keep the lid closed and take great care to
avoid spills, which may cause scalding.

Repeat the operation once or twice if necessary, before using the heated water.
Use
Repeat the operations described above: note that the kettle must be filled to
between the minimum and maximum levels.
If you do not require very hot water, stop the heating process by turning off the
switch.
After use: remove the kettle from the base before pouring out the water and
disconnect the plug from the power socket,
After use, do not leave water in the kettle. Drain it completely to prevent the
water from stagnating and reduce limescale furring.
During long periods of inactivity, remove the plug from the electric socket. Wind
the power cord around the supports provided in the base.
Thermal safety device
The kettle is equipped with a thermal safety device which cuts out the heating
element in case of overheating, if the kettle is accidentally switched on when
empty. To return the appliance to operation, switch it off, remove the plug from
the power socket and wait for it to cool (about 10/15 minutes); fill the kettle with
water, connect the plug and start the appliance by pressing the button to the I
position.
Descaling
To extend the kettle's lifetime, remove limescale regularly (at least once a month
or more often if the water is very hard)
6. Fill the kettle about three quarters full with water and bring to the boil.
7. After switching the kettle off (remove the plug from the power socket), add
white wine vinegar (8 degrees) or a descaler (specifically for kettles) to the
maximum level (1.7L/max).
8. Leave the solution to stand for about 4/5 hours.
9. Empty the kettle and rinse thoroughly.
10. Fill the kettle with clean water and bring to the boil.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning: before cleaning the appliance, remove the plug from the power socket
and wait for it to cool. The kettle requires frequent, thorough cleaning to prevent
limescale furring and unpleasant smells.
Do not immerse the appliance (kettle and base) in water or any other liquid and
do not wash it under running water or in a dishwasher
Wash only the inside of the kettle and the filter with hot water and ordinary
washing-up liquid, rinse them carefully and allow them to drain. Do not use
powders, abrasive or corrosive products or metal scouring pads. Before using it,
check that all external electrical parts (switches) are perfectly dry.

Clean the outside of the kettle and the base with a soft, damp cloth: do not use
metal scouring pads or abrasive products. It cannot be washed in a dishwasher or
even under running water: if the electrical parts (including the power cord and
plug) become wet, dry carefully and completely before use.
To clean the filter, remove it from the kettle and wash it under running water
(see diagram) and check that it is dry before refitting it.
If you decide not to use the appliance any more, it must be rendered unusable by
cutting off the power supply cord (first making sure that the plug has been
removed from the power socket), and any parts which are hazardous if used as
children's playthings must be rendered harmless.

Remplir d’eau la carafe au-delà du niveau minimum
(0,5 l) et en dessous du niveau maximum (1,7 l),
indiqués sur le côté de la carafe. Si la quantité d’eau
est supérieure, l’eau en ébullition sort du bec verseur
et peut provoquer des brûlures, mais si elle est
inférieure, l’appareil peut s’abîmer.

Durant le fonctionnement, la carafe chauffe: toucher
seulement la poignée et les boutons. Eviter le contact
avec le corps de la carafe durant et pendant un certain
temps après utilisation, mais attendre que celui-ci ait
refroidi.
L’eau chaude peut provoquer de graves brûlures. Faire
très attention quand l’appareil contient de l’eau.
Ne pas remplir ou ajouter de l’eau lorsque la carafe est
posée sur son socle.
Ne pas déplacer l’appareil quand celui-ci fonctionne.
Ne pas ouvrir le couvercle tandis que l’eau bout.
Vérifier que l’appareil est bien éteint avant de le retirer
de son socle.
Ne pas faire fonctionner l’appareil à vide pour éviter
de l’abîmer.
Ne pas utiliser l’appareil pour réchauffer des soupes,
aliments ou autres substances liquides.
Durant le fonctionnement, ne pas introduire les mains
ou tout autre objet à l’intérieur de la carafe, ne rien
glisser entre la carafe et le socle.
Débranchez toujours l’appareil de la prise de courant
si vous le laissez sans surveillance et avant le montage,
le démontage et le nettoyage de l’appareil.
Ne touchez pas l’appareil avec les mains et les pieds
mouillés.
