technician.
•This apparatus is for indoor use only.
•The apparatus must be unplugged from mains before opening the cover or removing components.
•Never plug into mains or unplug if your hands are wet.
•Never pull on the power cable, pull the plug only by gripping it by the surfaces provided.
•Never install the apparatus near taps, basins or other sources of water. Also never connect your
apparatus to a power supply if the surface of the fan is moist.
•Do not insert objects into the openings of the apparatus. Risk of injury, electric shock or damage to
the apparatus!
•When installing, ensure that the connecting lead is not crushed or damaged by sharp edges. If this
should damage the insulation, the apparatus must under no circumstances be connected to
mains. Life-threatening!
•Always pull the mains plug before cleaning the apparatus. Clean only with a moist (not wet) cloth.
•Always pull the mains plug if the apparatus will not be used for a length of time. During this time,
store the apparatus in a protected and dry place.

5. Installation
In damp rooms, electrical apparatus may only be operated from residual current protected sockets!
Before operating the apparatus, ensure that this is the case where it is to be installed.
Ensure that the air circulation fan is not connected to mains before or during installation. Select the
place for installation to prevent any possibility of exposure to rain or falling into water.
Lay the connecting cable in a manner not posing a stumbling hazard and so that it cannot be crushed
or come into contact with hot surfaces. Use only extension leads matched to the power rating of the
apparatus and complying with the applicable safety regulations.
Hanging installation:
To use the ARIZONA air circulation fan as a hanging device, the supplied chains must first be fitted.
The following supplied components are required for assembly:
2x ARIZONA hanging chains
2x V-hooks
The ARIZONA fan is supplied with metal eye bolts on the housing to hook the chains via the snap
hooks. Then hook the V-hooks into the other two snap hooks. These V-hooks are then fastened to the
profiles of your greenhouse.
Your ARIZONA air circulation fan is now ready to use as a hanging fan.
Note:
When selecting the installation site, ensure that the airflow is unobstructed. The distance between the
wall and the back air intake must be at least 250 mm and at least 500 mm from the front of the fan.
Ensure that the fan intake and outlet are not blocked by any objects (e.g. plants).
6. Operation
To start up the ARIZONA air circulation fan, plug it into any 230 V ~ 50/60 Hz AC socket. The fan
immediately starts circulating the air.
Pollination promotion:
The air circulation fan can promote plant pollination during flowering. Constant air circulation
distributes pollen throughout the area.
Cooling the greenhouse:
On hot summer days, high temperatures above average occur in your greenhouse - not suited for all
plant species. The ARIZONA air circulation fan can vent excess heat to the outside. Clearly cooler
conditions can be achieved in conjunction with open doors and skylights.
RECOMMENDATION:
For particularly effective and pleasant ventilation, we recommend the Bio Green thermostat Thermo 2
(Order no. TER2). This activates the fan automatically when your selected temperature is exceeded.
And it switches off when the corresponding cooling has been achieved.
