1.3 Handling error massages during registration
If you receive an error message during or after registration, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
Server connection error: The panel can´t connect to the Home Portal Server. The panel is either
switched o or there are problems with the internet connection. Please check the power supply and
network status.
• Please check your firewall settings. Ports 5222, 8765 & 8080 TCP must be open and added to the

2. Operation through the web portal
2.1 Security
2.1.1 Sensors
To access the web portal, open a web browser and visit https://eu.bphomeconnect.com/ then log in with
your user and password.
The web portal includes all possible functions with the Q & Q-Pro series, including registration, user
administration, conguration of scenarios and rules, device settings and operation of the panel. This
guide will explain you through each area step by step.
The sensors list contains all devices that assume a safety function in the system, except the home automation
devices.
If there is any failure on a device (e.g. battery low, tamper open, supervision failure), the device will be
highlighted in red and the error will be displayed under the “Fault” column. Door contacts that are open will
also be highlighted in red and under the“Status” column will display “DC Open”.
Additionally, it is possible to manually take a picture with the PIR camera (IRC-S2 or IRC-P4) by clicking on the
button and a video recording with the Video camera (IPC-S1) by clicking on the button.
NOTE:
For a better experience, avoid using Web Browsers as Microsoft IE Explorer or Edge.

activated. If a sensor has been
assigned the attribute Entry, an
Entry- Countdown is triggered,
so the user has time to disarm
the system and no alarm will be
triggered.
Arm Home:
Sensors that have been assigned
the Arm Home attribute, won’t be
activated if the system is switched
into the Arm Home Mode. Usually,
motion detectors in the interior
are assigned this attribute so that
