NANOCAB
Das ultra-kompakte BluGuitar® NANOCAB
TM ist die kleinste 1x12“ Box mit dem größtmöglichen Ton.
Es ist eine absolute Referenz als Kompakt-Cabinet, das keine wirklichen Mitbewerber hat. Durch seine Bass-
reflexabstimmung erhält das
NANOCAB
TM einen richtig großen Ton mit nie vermuteten Tiefbässen. Es setzt
sich in der Band erstaunlich gut durch und kann, dank seiner Kompaktheit, problemlos im Flugzeug, in der
Bahn oder auf dem Motorrad transportiert werden.
Die Gehäuseöffnung auf der Rückseite, die man mit wenigen Handgriffen selber öffnen oder schließen kann,
ermöglicht bei geöffnetem Gehäuse eine Bassresonanz für luftige cleane und angezerrte Sounds sowie den
optimalen Punch für Rocksounds bei geschlossenem Gehäuse. Das
NANOCAB
TM ist außerdem, dank seines
auch schon bei niedriger Lautstärke absolut ausgewogenen und satten Klangs,die perfekte Box fürs Wohnzimmer.
FATCAB
Das kompakte 1x12“ FATCAB
TM kommt erstaunlich nah an den Soundcharakter einer alten 4x12“ Box
heran. Seine Vorzüge spielt es auf kleinen und mittleren Bühnen aus: Da es nur mit einem Speaker bestückt
ist, wird dieser viel schneller in seinen optimalen Arbeitsbereich gefahren, was denTon sehr lebendig und
weniger steif macht. Das Thiele Bass-Reflex-System sowie das extrem versteifte Gehäuse sorgen auch
schon bei geringen Lautstärken für ein definiertes, dynamisches Bassverhalten mit Tiefbässen – so, wie
man es sonst nur von einer großen 4x12“er kennt. Das Gehäusevolumen der Box sorgt zudem für eine
extra Portion Tiefmitten. Bei hohen Lautstärken bleibt die Box ausgewogen und neigt nicht zum Dröhnen.
Der BluGuitar®Fat Speaker mit einem extra-fetten Magneten bleibt dabei stets kontrolliert und liefert
einen harmonischen Mittenbereich und weiche Höhen, die durch den Filtereffekt der Front-Bespannung
mit dem dicken Basket Weave noch seidiger werden.
Beide Boxen zeichnen sich durch eine klassische, angenehm warme und offene Soundcharakteristik aus.
Diesen ausgewogenen, vollen Klang gibt der jeweilige Lautsprecher von geringen bis hin zu hohen Laut-
stärken gleichermaßen wieder.
Möglich ist dies durch zwei unterschiedliche, speziell für diese Boxen entwickelte Lautsprecher, die beide
eine kleine und sehr leichte Schwingspule in Verbindung mit einer leichten Membran verwenden. So kann
die Membran Partialschwingungen erzeugen, die den Sound lebendig machen.
Ein so konstruierter Lautsprecher kann nur eine Belastung von 60 Watt verarbeiten. Beide BluGuitar®
Boxen können grundsätzlich mit jedem Gitarrenverstärker betrieben werden, jedoch ist etwas Vorsicht
geboten, wenn man nur eine einzelne Box an einen Verstärker anschließen möchte, dessen
Endstufe mehr als 60 Watt Leistung liefern kann.

Da ich selbst schon oft mit nur einer 1x12“ Box auch auf großen Bühnen gespielt habe, kenne ich die
Belastungsgrenze verschiedener Lautsprecher gut. Man kann eine Box durchaus bis zu ihrem Limit
betreiben, darf dieses aber nie überschreiten. Das Limit erkennst du daran, dass der Speaker nicht mehr
lauter wird und der Bassbereich anfängt „matschig“ zu klingen.
Dreht man die Lautstärke trotzdem weiter auf, wird es nicht lauter, sondern nur matschiger. Die Schwing-
spule bekommt dabei immer mehr Leistung ab, und es ist nicht mehr möglich, die dabei entstehende Wärme
abzuleiten. Durch Überhitzung brennt dann der Draht durch.
ACHTUNG: Wir geben keine Gewährleistung auf elektrisch überlastete Lautsprecher.
NANOCAB
TM und
FATCAB
TM haben jeweils eine Impedanz von 8 Ohm. Bitte achte immer darauf, dass
nur der 8-Ohm-Lautsprecherausgang deines Verstärkers über ein Speakerkabel mit dem INPUT deines
BluGuitar®Cabinets verbunden wird.
Benutzt du einen Verstärker mit einer höheren Ausgangsleistung, muss darauf geachtet werden, dass die
Ausgangsleistung von 60 Watt nicht überschritten wird, da dies den Lautsprecher sonst zerstören kann.
Beim Anschluss von
NANOCAB
TM oder
FATCAB
TM an den
AMP1
TM sollte
das MASTER VOLUME am
AMP1
TM daher nicht höher als 6 stehen.
Solltest du die Cabinets an einen anderen Verstärker anschließen, empfehle
ich dir, dich der Belastbarkeitsgrenze des Lautsprechers wie oben beschrieben
zu nähern und diese nicht zu überschreiten.

Der Grenzbereich für einen einzelnen Speaker mit 60 Watt in der Kombination mit AMP1
TM beginnt:
• bei einer MASTER -Einstellung von 6, wenn OVERDRIVE MASTER und BASS weit aufgedreht sind,
• bei einer MASTER -Einstellung von 7, wenn BASS auf maximal 5 steht.
Grundsätzlich kann man sagen: MASTER bis 6 kann mit einer
NANOCAB
TM oder
FATCAB
TM mit jeder
möglichen Einstellung des
AMP1
TM bedenkenlos genutzt werden. Das ist schon ganz schön laut! Wenn
der Regler BASS bis maximal 5 aufgedreht ist, darf der MASTER auch auf 7 stehen.Wer noch mehr
MASTER VOLUME braucht, sollte zwei Boxen benutzen.
AMP1 / Gitarrenverstärker mit 8Ω-Ausgang
NANOCAB
TM und
FATCAB
TM verfügen neben dem INPUT jeweils über einen seriellen und einen paral-
lelen OUTPUT, an die weitere Boxen angeschlossen werden können. Gründe für die Verwendung meh-
rerer Boxen können die Maximierung der Ausgangslautstärke, der Wunsch nach viel Bass-Fundament bei
hoher Lautstärke oder die gleichmäßige Beschallung größerer Bühnen sein. Ich persönlich spiele auf sehr
großen Bühnen zum Beispiel gerne die Kombination von
FATCAB
TM und
NANOCAB
TM mit dem
AMP1
TM.
Dabei stelle ich das
FATCAB
TM hinter mich und das
NANOCAB
TM seitlich neben mich.
Serieller Anschluss von NANOCAB und FATCAB an den AMP1
Verbinde den 16-Ohm-Ausgang deines
AMP1
TM (oder jedes anderen
Vollröhrenverstärkers) über ein Speakerkabel mit dem INPUT der ersten Box
und den SERIAL OUTPUT der ersten Box über ein weiteres Speakerkabel
mit dem INPUT der zweiten Box. Die so angeschlossene Boxenkombination
aus
NANOCAB
TM und
FATCAB
TM verträgt eine Ausgangsleistung von
120 Watt, sodass die Stellung des MASTER VOLUME-Reglers am
AMP1
TM
irrelevant für die Betriebssicherheit der Lautsprecher ist.

Paralleler Anschluss von NANOCAB und FATCAB an einen Verstärker
Für Verstärker mit einer herkömmlichen Transistorendstufe ist es sinnvoll, die beiden Boxen parallel zu
verschalten. So wird eine Impedanz von 4 Ohm erreicht, bei der die Endstufe ihre maximale Leistung
liefern kann.
Für den parallelen Anschluss von

Ausgang deines Verstärkers über ein Speakerkabel mit dem INPUT der ersten Box und den PARALLEL

NANOCAB
The ultra-compact BluGuitar® NANOCAB
TM is the smallest 1x12“ cabinet available, that has no real
competitors in today’s marketplace. Producing the very best sound possible, its bass reflex tuning gives
the
NANOCAB
TM a truly big tone, with a low bass response that you wouldn‘t expect to find in such a
compact cab. It cuts through a band mix surprisingly well, and thanks to its compactness it can easily be
transported on „planes, trains, and automobiles“, as well as motorbikes!
The open/closed back cover on the rear of the cabinet, which can be removed in a few quick steps,
provides a bass response for crystal clear cleans and crunch sounds when the cover is removed, as well as
the perfect „punch“ for rock sounds when the back is closed. The
NANOCAB
TM is also the perfect cabinet
for your living room, thanks to its extremely well balanced and rich sound, even at low volumes.
FATCAB
The compact 1x12“ FATCAB
TM gets surprisingly close to the sound characteristics of an old 4x12“ vintage
cabinet. It demonstrates its strength especially on small and medium stages. Coming equipped with only
one speaker, it reaches its optimum operating range much faster, which makes it sound very alive and
dynamic. The Thiele bass reflex system together with the extremely stiff casing provide a defined, dynamic
bass performance, with low bass response even at low volume levels - something which is only usually
achieved by large 4x12“ cabinets. In addition, the cabinet also provides a subtle enhancement of the
low-mids. At high volumes, the cabinet‘s sound remains balanced and the BluGuitar®Fat Speaker,
with an extra-fat magnet, always remains controlled, delivering harmonious mids with smooth highs, that
become even silkier due to the filter effect of the front cover with the thick basket weave.
Both cabinets feature classic, warm and open sound characteristics, that are perfectly conveyed by the
particular speaker in each cabinet, at any volume.
Specially developed for these cabinets, the two different BluGuitar® speakers both employ the use of a
small and very light voice coil, combined with a very light membrane which generates partial vibrations
that make the sound alive.
A speaker of this design can only handle a load of up to 60 watts. Both BluGuitar® cabinets can
generally be used with any guitar amp, but some caution is required if you connect only one
single cabinet to an amplifier with more than 60 watts output power.

As I myself have often used only one 1x12“ cabinet on large stages, I am well aware of the load limit of
various speakers. You can certainly operate a speaker up to its limit, but it must never be exceeded.
You can tell that the limit has been reached from the fact that the speaker‘s volume won’t increase any
further. In addition, the bass frequencies will start to sound „muddy“.
If you continue turning up the volume from this point on, the speaker won’t get any louder, just muddier.
The voice coil will have to put up with more and more output power, and at a certain point the resulting
heat can’t be dissipated any longer, and the wire will burn through.
CAUTION: We don´t give any warranty on electrical overcharged speakers.

TM and
FATCAB
TM each have an impedance of 8 ohms. Please always make sure that only the
8 ohm speaker output of your amplifier is connected via a speaker cable to the INPUT of your
BluGuitar®cabinet.
If you use an amplifier with an output power of more that 60 watts, you must ensure that it won’t blow
the speaker.
When connecting the

TM or
FATCAB
TM to the
AMP1
TM the
MASTER VOLUME on the AMP1
TM should be set no higher than 6.
If you connect the cabinets to any other amplifier, I recommend you
approach the load limit of the speaker as described above – please make
sure you do not exceed it!

The limit range for a single 60 watts speaker used in combination with the AMP1
TM starts at :
• aMASTER setting of 6, if OVERDRIVE MASTER and BASS are turned up high
• a MASTER setting of 7 if BASS is not higher than 5
In general, one can say that as long as the MASTER knob of the
AMP1
TM is turned up no higher than 6,
any possible amp setting can be used with
NANOCAB
TM or
FATCAB
TM. That’s pretty loud actually ! If the
BASS knob is turned up to a maximum of 5, the MASTER can go up to 7. If you still need more MASTER
VOLUME, you should use two cabinets.
AMP1 / Guitar amplifier with 8Ωoutput
In addition to the INPUT, NANOCAB
TM and
FATCAB
TM each have a serial and a parallel OUTPUT, which
can be used for connecting additional cabinets.There are several reasons for using multiple cabinets,
such as maximising the output volume, the need for extra bass at high volumes, or for a bigger sound on
larger stages. For example, on very large stages I personally like to use the combination of
FATCAB
TM and
NANOCAB
TM with the
AMP1
TM. I usually position the
FATCAB
TM behind me and the
NANOCAB
TM next to
me.
Connect the 16-ohm output of your
AMP1
TM (or any other all tube amp)
via a speaker cable to the INPUT of the first cabinet, and then the SERIAL
OUTPUT of the first cabinet, via another speaker cable, into the INPUT of
the second cabinet. If you connect
NANOCAB
TM and
FATCAB
TM like this,
they can handle an output power of 120 watts. Hence, the position of the
MASTER VOLUME on the AMP1
TM is irrelevant to the operational safety of
the speakers.

For amplifiers with a conventional transistor power amp it is sensible to interconnect both boxes in parallel.
This leads to an impedance of 4 ohms, at which point the amplifier can deliver its maximum performance.
To connect

TM in parallel to an amplifier, connect the 4-ohm output of your
amplifier via a speaker cable to the INPUT of the first cabinet, and then the PARALLEL OUTPUT of the
first cabinet, via another speaker cable, to the INPUT of the second cabinet.
