• Remove any tags/labels and wash in hot soapy water
with a non-scratch nylon pan scourer or brush and dry thoroughly
Before First Use
Cooking
Do’s:
• Always match the size of the cookware base to the size of the
heating area, to ensure you make the best use of your energy
• If using gas adjust the flame so that it doesn't extend up the sides
•
Important:
HANDLES, KNOBS etc. may become HOT too,
depending upon your chosen cooking method and duration. For safety
always use oven gloves or similar when using or moving any part of
the cookware including lid.
• Extreme high temperatures may cause discoloration. If higher
temperatures are necessary, preheat the cookware on medium heat
for a few minutes
Don’ts:
•
Never allow the cookware to dry heat
• Do not pour cold water into a hot cookware, as this may cause
warping, allow it to cool first
• Do not overfill the cookware. As soon as it reaches the boiling point,
the temperature should be reduced
• Ensure the handles are not positioned over a heating element or
above the flame of the stove
• Be aware that hot water and steam can cause injury unless care is taken
• Avoid leaving food in the cookware overnight
IMPACT BONDED TECHNOLOGY
Impact bonded tri-ply technology implies forging of three metals–
Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Stainless Steel under high impact to form the
bottom eliminating air gaps between the metal layers. This helps in
uniform and even heat distribution while cooking and ensures long life of
the bottom.
INSTRUCTIONS

Stove Suitability
• This cookware is suitable for ALL stove types
(Gas, Induction, Hot Plate, Halogen)
• The cookware is not suitable for microwave or
grill use
Induction / Hot Plate / Halogen Stove Use
• These highly ecient cookware base transfers heat to the cookware
immediately and can reach extremely high temperatures quickly
Gas Stove Use
• This cookware designed to be as energy ecient as possible, so we
strongly advice to use a low to medium flame setting. A high flame
heat setting is not advisable as this may damage your cookware
• Always use a oven glove/mittens while removing from stove
Cleaning
• After use, allow the cookware to cool completely, remove contents
and soak in hot soapy water for a few minutes before washing
• Remove food deposits with a non-scratch nylon pan scourer or brush
and dry thoroughly
• Do not use harsh abrasives such as steel wool, steel brushes, ash or
mud for cleaning.
• For stubborn stains or hard water deposits, use a solution of lemon
juice or vinegar.
• Any stains that are caused due to rusting can be removed by boiling
distilled water with vinegar and citric acid.
Dishwasher Use
• Your cookware is suitable for dishwasher use. However hand washing
is recommended
• Over time, fittings may get discolored after repeated dishwasher use

WARRANTY
This portion has to be retained by the customer. The product is under one year warranty
and the bottom of this product is under ve years warranty from the date of purchase. If
the BOROSIL Cookfresh Stainless Steel is proved to be defective by reason of workmanship
or material, we undertake at our option to replace or to repair the same, free of charge,
upon the following conditions:
• That this cookware shall have been solely used for domestic purposes.
• That the customer will contact Borosil Customer Care Toll free no. 1800 120 8499,
1800 224 550 or e-mail us at customercare@borosil.com and provide information
about the defect with the model number of the product. The cookware or replacement
will be returned in due course, carriage paid within India at the purchaser's risk.
• That the cookware is used properly in accordance with the instructions provided in
this manual.
• That this warranty shall not in any case extend towards payment on monetary
consideration whatsoever of replacement of the cookware as a whole.
• That if, at any time during the warranty period, any part or parts of the cookware are
replaced with a part or parts not supplied or approved by us, this warranty shall cease
and become void.
• That our decision on all questions relating to complaints as to defects shall be
conclusive. Any cookware or defective part, which has been replaced shall become
our property.
• That this warranty is given in lieu of all other guarantees and conditions expressed or
implied by law or by any person purporting to act on behalf of the company and the
same is limited to the conditions and circumstance set forth above.
• That the warranty does not cover
i) Misuse while cooking (for details, see instructions overleaf.)
ii) Misuse in maintenance of the cookware (for details, see instructions over leaf)
iii) dropping, exposure to extreme temperature and sudden change of temperature
• That the 5 years warranty on base does not cover
i) Damage by accident, misuse or commercial use
ii) Discoloration, scratching, staining and damage from dry heating
• Please read the instructionas overleaf thoroughly.
