Amount of laundry, soiling, water har dness (ask your water supply
company) and manufacture r's instructions.
Pour liquid detergent into the appropriate dispenser and place in the drum.

Protection of the environment/Conservation tips
– Always fill the washing m achine with a maxim um amount of
laundry for the relevant pr ogramme.
– Wash normally s oiled laundry without a pre -wash.
– Instead of LFCottons 90 °C, choose the pro gramme
LFCottons 60 °C with the addition al function jEcoPerfect.
Comparable cleaning resu lt with significantly lower e nergy
consumption.
– Measure the d etergent according to the m anufacturer's
instructions and water hardness .
– If the laundry is the n dried in the tumble dryer, select th e spin

You can change the spin sp eed and the temperature before the selected progra mme starts
and while it is running. The effects dep end on the programme progress.

You can change the displayed washing temperature. The maximum selectable tempera ture
depends on the current programm e.
ʑReady in
When you select the programm e, the relevant programme duration is disp layed. You can
delay the start of the program me before it begins. The Re ady in- time can be set in
increments of one hour up to a maximum of 24 hours. Press the Ready in butto n
repeatedly until the required number of hours is displa yed (h = hour).
Choose $Start/Reload.
ʑrpm (spin speed / without final s pin)
You can change the d isplayed spin speed. The m aximum selectable spin speed depends on
the model and on whic h programme is currently selec ted.

You can lock the w ashing machine to prevent the func tions you have
set from being changed inadvert ently.
ON/OFF: Press and hold t he $Start/Reload button for 5 seconds after
the start/end of the program me.
Note: The childproo f lock can remain activa ted until you wish to s tart
the next programme , even after switching off the m achine.
Then you can de activate the childproof lo ck before the start o f the
programme and activate it again as necessary on ce the programme
has started.
YES +oReload
If you want to add additional items of laun dry after the programme ha s
started, choose $S tart/Reload. The machine c hecks whether
reloading is possible.
YES + illuminated: Relo ading is possible.
NO flashes: wait until YES + light up.
Note: do not open the doo r until both the YES + symbols are lit.
NO: It is not possible to reload.
Note: For safety reasons, the washing mach ine door remains locked
when the water level and/or temperat ure is high, or during spinning.
To continue the program me, press the $S tart/Reload button.

Protecting the laundr y and the machine
– When dete rmining the dosage of all washing powde rs, additives and cleaning a gents, you
must follow the manufacturer's instruction s.
– Empty pockets.
– Look out for metal ite ms (paperclips, etc.).
– Wash delica tes in a laundry bag (tig hts, curtains, underwired bras).
– Fasten zips, do up an y buttons.
– Brush sand o ut of pockets and collars.
– Remove curtain fi ttings or place in the laundry bag .
Laundry with varying degrees o f soiling
Wash new items of c lothing separately.
light Do not pre-wash. If required, choose the add itional function
iSpeedPerfect.
Pre-treat any stains as nece ssary.

Choose a programme with a prewa sh.
Soaking Load laund ry of the same colour
Pour soaking agent/deterge nt into compartment II in accordance with th e manufacturer's
instructions. Turn the pr ogramme selector to LFCottons 30 °C and press $S tart/Reload.
After approx. 10 minutes, press $Start/Reload to pause the programme. Once the required
soaking time has elaps ed, press $Start/Reload again to c ontinue the programme, or select
a different programme .
Starch Laundry should n ot be treated with fab ric softener.
Starching is possible in all w ash programmes if liquid star ch is used. Pour the starch i n
accordance with the manufacturer's instructions into fabric softener compartment ~( rinse first
if necessary).
Dyeing/Bleaching
Dye should only be used in normal household quantities. Salt may damage stainless steel.
Always follow the dye ma nufacturer's instructions! Do no t use the washing machine for
bleaching clothes!
