Amount of laundry, soiling, water hardness (ask your water sup ply
company) and manufacturer's instructio ns.
Pour liquid detergent into the appropriate dispenser and place in the drum.

– Wash normally soiled laund ry without a pre-wash.
– Instead of ǙǯDzdzDzǮ(Cottons) 90 °C, c hoose the programme
ǙǯDzdzDzǮ(Cottons) jEcoPerfect 60 °C. Comparable cleaning
result with significantly lower energy cons umption.
– Measure the detergent acc ording to the manufacturer's

– If the laundry is the n dried in the tumble drye r, select the spin

Removing the washing
Open the washing machine d oor and remove the washing.

Individual settings

The spin speed and temperatu re can be changed before and during the selected programme
runs. The effects depend on the programme progress.
ʑ(Spin speed in rpm/without final spin)
You can change the displayed spin s peed. The maximum selectable spin speed de pends on
the model and on which p rogramme is currently selected.
ʑV(Temperature)
You can change the display ed washing temperature. The maxi mum washing temperature
that can be selected depe nds on the programme th at has been set.
ʑ(finished in)
When you select the programme, the relevant programme duration is displaye d. You can
delay the start of the programme before it begins. The "Fe rtig in" (Finished in) time can be
set in increments of one ho ur up to a maximum of 24 hou rs. Press the(finished in) button
repeatedly until the required n umber of hours is displayed ( h = hour).

You can lock the washing machine to preve nt the functions you have
set from being changed inadvertentl y.
Ʊƹƺ/ƱNJƹƺ(ON/OFF): Press and hold the Start/P ause button for
approx. 5 seconds after the start/ end of the programme.
Note: The childproof lock can remain ac tivated until you wish to start
the next programme, even af ter switching off the machine.
Then you can deactivate th e childproof lock before the sta rt of the
programme and activate it agai n as necessary once the program me
has started.

Important information
Protecting the laundry and the machine
– Empty pockets.
– Look out for me tal items (paperclips, etc.).
– Wash delicates in a lau ndry bag (tights, curtains, underw ired bras).
– Fasten zips, do up any b uttons.
– Brush sand out o f pockets and collars.
– Remove curtain fittings or pl ace in the laundry bag.
Laundry with varying degrees of soiling
Wash new items of clothing separat ely.
light Do not pre-wash. If required, choose th e ispeedPerfect
programme.
Pre-treat any stains as necessary.
heavy Do not load as much lau ndry. Select the program wit h Vorwäsche.
Soaking Load laundry of the same colour
Pour soaking agent/detergent into co mpartment II in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions. Turn the programme se lector to DŽǚǝǞǝǙ(Cottons) 30 °C and selec t $
(Start/Pause). After approx. 10 minute s, press $(Start/Pause) to pause t he programme.
Once the required soakin g time has elapsed, select $( Start/Pause) again to continu e the
programme, or select a dif ferent programme.
Starching Laundry must not be treated wit h fabric softener
Starching is possible in all wash programmes if liquid starc h is used. Pour the starch in
accordance with the manufac turer's instructions into fabric softener compartment ~(rinse first
if necessary).
Dyeing/bleaching
Dye should only be used in n ormal household quantities. Salt ma y damage stainless steel.
Always follow the dye manufacturer's ins tructions! Do not use the wa shing machine for
bleaching clothes!
