Interrupting the programme
Programmes at high temper atures:
– Cool washi ng: Select 2Rinse/Spin).
– Sele ct Start/Pause.

Changing the programme, if ...
... you have selected the wrong p rogramme by mistake:
– Reselect the programme.
– Select Start/Pause. The new programme starts from the
beginning.
Correct installation according to the
separate Installation instructions.
Check the machine
– Never use a dama ged machine.
– Inform the after-sales servic es.
Connect the mains plug
Make sure your hands are dry .
Take hold of the plug only.

Close the washing machine door. Ta ke care not to trap items of laun dry
between the washing machine doo r and the rubber seal.
Add detergent and care products
Measure accordingly:
Amount of laundry, soiling, water hardness ( ask your water supply
company) and manufacture r's instructions.
Pour liquid detergent into the appropriate dispenser and place in the drum.

Protection of the environment/Conservation tips

Before and while the selected programme is running, the spin speed or Spülstop (rinse hold,
without final rinse, laundry soaks in the last rinsing water) can be set. The effects depend on
the programme progress.
The maximum selectable spin s peed depends on the model a nd on which programme is
currently selected.

Protecting the laundr y and the machine
– Empty pockets.
– Look out for m etal items (paperclips, etc.).
– Wash d elicates in a laundry bag (tights, curtain s, underwired bras).
– Fasten zips , do up any buttons.

– Remove c urtain fittings or place in the laundry b ag.

Pour soaking agent/detergent into co mpartment II in accordance with th e manufacturer's
instructions. Turn the programme selector to LFCottons 30 °C and select Start/Pause. After
approx. 10 minutes, press Start/Pause, to pause the programme . Once the required soaking
time has elapsed, pr ess Start/Pause, again to continu e the programme, or select a diff erent
programme.
Starching Laundry mu st not be treated with fabric softener
Starching is possible in all w ash programmes if liquid star ch is used. Pour starch i nto the
fabric softener compartment in accordan ce with the manufacturer's instructi ons~(rinse first
if necessary).
Dyeing/bleaching
Dye should only be used in normal household quantities. Salt may damage stainless steel.
Always follow the dye ma nufacturer's instructions. Do not u se the washing machine for
bleaching clothes.

Removing the washing
Open the washing machine door and remove the washing.
If Rinse Hold (without final s pin) is active: Turn the
programme selector to >Drain or selec t the spin speed.
Select Start/Pause.
– Remove any foreign obje cts -
risk of rusting.
– Leave the washing machine door a nd detergent
drawer open so that any residu al water can
evaporate.
