The Braun cruZer body is a rechargeable trimmer and wet shaver in one.
You can easily shorten or remove hair from all body areas below the neckline
– wet or dry.
Caution
• For hygienic reasons, do not share your cruZer body with other persons.
• Periodically check the cord for damage. In case of a damaged cord,
contact a Braun Service Center for replacement. A damaged or non-
functioning unit should no longer be used.
• Before plugging the charger into an electrical outlet, check whether the
voltage printed on the charger corresponds to your local mains voltage
supply.

Connecting and charging
The cruZer body is electrically safe and can be used in the bathroom, bath,
and shower.
Plug the charger (8) into an electrical outlet. Place the cruZer body onto the
charger. The charging light (7) shows that the appliance is being charged.
When the battery is fully charged, the charging light turns off. Intermittent
blinking after a while indicates that the battery maintains its full capacity.
Charging time is approximately 14 hours. Cordless operation time is up to
50 minutes.
Battery maintenance
In order to maintain the capacity of the rechargeable batteries, we recom-
mend that you unplug the charger and discharge the cruZer body by regular
use at least every 6 months.

How to use the cruZer body
Make sure that you always keep your skin stretched when shaving or
trimming.
The cruZer body is not intended for removing facial hair or scalp hair.
• Trimming («1»):
Trimming on the skin/contour trimming
For trimming precise lines and contours, just use the trimmer (2)
(picture a).
Press the on/off switch (6) to turn on the cruZer body.
Stretching your skin, carefully move the trimmer against the direction of
hair growth.
For this function, you can use Gillette shaving foam or gel.
Using the trimming combs (1a)–(1c)
For best results use the trimming combs on dry hair only. Do not use
shaving foam or gel for this application. Whenever hairs build up in front
of the comb, remove them.
Trimming on the skin in sensitive areas (e.g. genital area) with the
«sensitive» attachment (1a)
For trimming in sensitive areas and improved skin care, you should use
the «sensitive» attachment (1a) (picture b). Snap it onto the trimmer (2)
as shown until it clicks into place. Press the on/off switch (6) to turn on.
Gently move the cruZer body against the direction of hair growth with
the comb tips pointing forward. In sensitive areas take special care that
the skin is always stretched to avoid injuries.
Trimming the hair length with trimming combs «medium» and «long»
The trimming combs (1b)/(1c) allow you to cut the hair to 2 different
lengths («medium» = 3 mm or «long» = 8 mm).
Start with the «long» trimming comb (1c) to acquire practice. Gently
move the cruZer body against the direction of hair growth with the comb
tips pointing forward (picture c).
• Combishave («1+2»):
Trimming and shaving in one stroke for a close shave of long haired
sections with the trimmer (2) and shaving system (3)
The combishave is suitable for large areas like chest and back.
Press the « » button and extend the slider to the «1+2» setting

(picture d).
Press the on/off switch (6) to turn on the cruZer body. The trimmer first
raises all long hairs and cuts them off. The shaving system (3) follows to
smooth away any stubble.
For best results, always make sure that both, the trimmer and the
shaving system are in contact with the skin. When using this function,
we recommend using Gillette shaving foam or gel.
For sensitive areas, we recommend starting with the «sensitive»
attachment (1a) and then finish with the shaving system (3).
• Shave («2»):
For a close shave of stubbled areas with the shaving system (3)
Pressing the « » button, extend the slider (5) as far as it will go to
setting «2» (picture e).
Place the shaving system (3) on the stretched skin and gently move it
against the direction of hair growth.
Do not apply too much pressure and always keep your skin stretched.
Make sure the shaving system is in full contact with the skin.
When using the shaving system, we recommend using Gillette shaving
foam or gel.
Protection sleeve / holder for the shower
The cruZer body comes with a protective cover that can also be used as a
shower holder.
When used as a protective cover, insert the cruZer body with the trimmer
inside.
When using it as holder, insert the cruZer body with the trimmer outside
(see picture 9).
Cleaning and maintenance
After each use, clean the cruZer body.
Remove the trimming comb and brush it out.
You may also use the brush to clean the trimmer if it has been used for dry
applications only.
If you have used the cruZer body with shaving gel or foam, rinse it under hot,
running water as shown (in picture f). Shake well to remove excess water
and leave to dry.
Apply a drop of light machine oil onto the trimmer on a weekly basis.

Replacing the shaving system
The shaving system (3) has to be replaced when the green stripe becomes
discoloured. Use Gillette Fusion cartridges only.
Extend the slider, press the release button (4) to eject the used shaving
system.
Insert the appliance into the refill organizer to collect a new one (picture g).
In case the cruZer body has dropped onto the shaving system, replace the
shaving system for safety reasons.
Environmental notice
This product contains rechargeable batteries. In the interest of
protecting the environment, please do not dispose of the product in
the household waste at the end of its useful life. Disposal can take
place at a Braun Service Center or at appropriate collection sites
provided in your country.

Le cruZer body de Braun est une tondeuse et un rasoir pour peau sèche ou
mouillée en un seul appareil rechargeable. Il facilite le rasage sur toutes les
parties du corps – que la peau soit sèche ou mouillée.
Avertissement
• Pour des raisons d’hygiène, ne pas partager votre cruZer body avec
d’autres personnes.
• Vérifier régulièrement l’état du cordon d’alimentation. Si le cordon est
endommagé, l’apporter dans un centre de services Braun pour qu’il soit

Branchement et chargement
Le cruZer body est sécuritaire d’un point de vue électrique et peut être utilisé
dans la salle de bain, la baignoire et la douche.
Brancher le chargeur (8) dans une prise murale. Placer le cruZer body sur le
chargeur. Le témoin lumineux de charge (7) s’allume pour indiquer que
l’appareil est en recharge. Lorsque la pile est complètement chargée, le
témoin lumineux de charge s’éteint. Au bout d’un certain temps, le témoin
lumineux de charge se met alors à clignoter pour indiquer que la pile est
complètement chargée. Le temps de recharge est d’environ 14 heures.
Le temps d’utilisation en mode autonome va jusqu’à 50 minutes.

Entretien de la pile
Afin de maintenir la capacité des piles rechargeables, nous recommandons
de débrancher le chargeur et de laisser se décharger le cruZer body par une
utilisation normale au moins tous les six mois.
Comment utiliser le cruZer body
S’assurer de toujours tenir la peau étirée en utilisant le rasoir ou la tondeuse.
Le cruZer body n’est pas conçu pour enlever les poils du visage ou du cuir
chevelu.
• Tondeuse («1») :
Taille des poils et des contours de la barbe
Pour tailler des lignes précises et des contours, utiliser la tondeuse (2)
(illustration a).
Appuyer sur l’interrupteur de mise en marche/arrêt (6) pour mettre le
cruZer body en marche.
En étirant la peau, utiliser la tondeuse dans le sens opposé de la pousse
des poils.
Pour ce faire, on peut utiliser la mousse ou le gel à raser Gillette.
Utilisation des peignes de précision (1a) – (1c)
Pour un meilleur résultat, utiliser ces peignes de précision seulement
sur des poils secs. Ne pas utiliser de mousse ou de gel à raser pour
cette application. Lorsque des poils s’accumulent devant le peigne,
les retirer.
Pour la taille des poils sur la peau des régions sensibles (par ex. la
région génitale), utiliser le peigne pour peau sensible (1a)
Pour tailler dans les régions sensibles et pour un meilleur soin de la
peau, utiliser le peigne de précision pour peau sensible (1a) (illustration b).
Le fixer sur la tondeuse (2), tel qu’illustré, jusqu’à ce qu’il clique bien en
place. Appuyer sur l’interrupteur de mise en marche/arrêt (6) pour le
mettre en marche. Déplacer le cruZer body délicatement dans le sens
opposé de la pousse des poils, les dents du peigne vers l’avant. Dans
les régions sensibles, prendre soin de toujours étirer la peau afin d’éviter
les blessures.
Déterminer la longueur des poils à l’aide des peignes de précision
« moyen » et « long »
Les peignes de précision (1b/1c) permettent de couper les poils de deux
longueurs différentes (« moyen », à 3 mm ou « long », à 8 mm).

Commencer avec le peigne de précision « long » (1c) pour acquérir une
certaine pratique. Déplacer le cruZer body délicatement dans le sens
opposé de la pousse des poils, les dents du peigne vers l’avant
(illustration c).
• Combinaison tondeuse et rasoir (« 1+2 ») :
Tailler et raser lors du même passage, pour un rasage de près des poils
longs à l’aide de la tondeuse (2) et du système de rasage (3).
La combinaison tondeuse et rasoir est utile pour les grandes surfaces
telles la poitrine et le dos.
Appuyer sur le bouton « » et glisser le curseur au réglage « 1+2 »
(illustration d).
Appuyer sur l’interrupteur de marche / arrêt (6) pour mettre le cruZer
body en marche. La tondeuse soulève d’abord tous les poils longs pour
ensuite les couper. Le système de rasage (3) rase ensuite de près les
poils résiduels plus courts.
Pour un meilleur résultat, s’assurer que la tondeuse et le système de
rasage soient toujours en contact avec la peau. Lors de l’utilisation de
cette fonction, nous recommandons d’utiliser une mousse ou un gel à
raser Gillette.
Pour les régions sensibles, nous recommandons de commencer avec le
peigne de précision pour peau sensible (1a) et de finir avec le système
de rasage (3).
• Rasoir (« 2 ») :
Pour un rasage de près des régions à poils courts à l’aide du système de
rasage (3)
En appuyant sur le bouton « », glisser le curseur (5) aussi loin que
possible jusqu’au réglage « 2 » (illustration e).
Déposer le système de rasage (3) sur la peau étirée et le déplacer
délicatement dans le sens opposé de la pousse des poils.
Ne pas appliquer une trop forte pression et toujours tenir la peau étirée.
S’assurer que le système de rasage demeure pleinement en contact
avec la peau.
Lors de l’utilisation du système de rasage, nous recommandons d’utiliser
