SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Power Safety:
The LiveMix 8FX operates on mains power, so it is essential to ensure that the device is properly
grounded. Before plugging in the device, make sure that the power outlet you intend to use is
properly grounded. You should also use a power conditioner to protect the device from voltage
spikes or surges. When unplugging the device, avoid pulling on the power cord, as this can
damage the cord or the plug.
Care & Cleaning
The speaker may be cleaned with a dry cloth. Do not allow moisture into any of the openings in
the system. Ensure that the system is unplugged from the AC outlet before cleaning. If you notice
any issues with the device, such as strange noises or malfunctioning controls, contact a
professional technician for repair or maintenance..
To prevent damage to the LiveMix 8FX, avoid dropping or bumping the device, as this can
damage internal components and cause malfunctions. Additionally, avoid exposing the device to
extreme temperatures, which can impact performance.
The LiveMix 8FX must not be disposed of with your other household waste. You are
liable for disposing of all your electronic or electrical waste equipment by relocating it
to the specified collection point for the recycling of such hazardous waste. Isolated
collection and proper recovery of your electronic and electrical waste equipment at
the time of disposal will allow us to help conserve natural resources. Proper recycling
of electronic and electrical waste equipment will also ensure the safety of human
health and environment.
For more information about electronic and electrical waste equipment disposal,
recovery, and collection points, please contact your local city center, household
waste disposal service, shop from where you purchased the equipment, or
manufacturer of the equipment.
The LiveMix 8FX is in compliance with Directive 2011/65/EU and (EU) 2015/863 of the European
Parliament and of the Council of 19. 31/03/2015 on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous
substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
Electronic equipment requires safety precautions to ensure longevity and
user safety. Here, we will outline five safety precautions for the LiveMix 8FX,
a powerful analogue mixing frame designed for live performances. These
include power safety, handling, cable management, ventilation, and
maintenance. By following these precautions, you can enjoy the

6. Use ONLY a dry cloth for cleaning.
7. DO NOT block ventilation openings. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for installation.
8. DO NOT install near heat sources, such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or amplifiers.
9. DO NOT alter the polarized or grounding type plug, which has two blades with one wider
than the other, or a third grounding prong. The wider blade or third prong must be inserted
into a compatible outlet to ensure safety.
10. PROTECT the power cord from being walked on or pinched, especially at plugs and where it
exits from the apparatus.
11. ONLY USE attachments and accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12. USE ONLY with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold
with the apparatus. Use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid
tip-over.
13. UNPLUG during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. REFER servicing to qualified service personnel if the apparatus has been damaged, exposed
to rain or moisture, dropped or does not operate normally.
15. DO NOT expose to water, and keep liquid-filled objects away from the apparatus.
16. To disconnect from AC mains, remove power supply cord plug from AC receptacle.
17. If the mains plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, it must remain
readily operable.
18. DO NOT overload wall outlets or extension cords beyond their rated capacity to avoid electric
shock or fire.
19. Ensure adequate ventilation by not installing in a confined or enclosed space.
20. DO NOT cover ventilation openings with items such as newspapers, tablecloths, or
curtains to prevent obstruction.
21. The apparatus must not be exposed to rain or moisture, and no naked flame sources, such
as lighted candles, should be placed on the product. Equipment must be connected to a
mains socket outlet with a protective earthing connection.
The exclamation point, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to
alert the user to important operating and maintenance instructions in the literature
accompanying the product.

PSL Preamps
Power - Signal - Layout
The core design philosophy on the pre-amp stage is to achieve better performance from the ADC.
When laying out components for a mixed-signal PCB, certain considerations are critical to achieve
optimum performance. Mixed-signal PCB’s are particularly tricky to design since analogue devices
possess different characteristics compared to digital components: different power rating, current,
voltage and heat dissipation.
Our team has worked on this and designed the layout to prevent digital logic ground currents from
contamination on our mixed signal P.C.B.
These layout helps achieve maximum signal integrity ,from every input to every output, & supports
the highest headroom and low noise possible resulting in a wide and smooth gain structure.
Oliver FX Engine
22 Pre-sets library with 99 effects on two dedicated effects engines.
The Oliver FX engines are designed by the same in house team that created the mix engineers
favourite PSL pre amps platform.
The engine consists of 22 stunning reverb and effects along with 99 parameters, on a stereo FX
engine providing studio grade effects across Room, Hall, Plate, Reverb, Chorus and more effect
categories.
The Reverbs and effects are all instantly accessible with a single button push or knob turn.
Either way you choose to use the Oliver FX engine , live or in the studio – the 22 effects algorithms
along with 99 user programs gives you complete power of true stereo processing.
Both the engines are capable of intense processing of high quality audio effects featuring the deep,
rich reverb and effects algorithm

Front Panel Functions
1.The MIC channel jacks are used to connect microphones or other audio devices using cannon
plugs and 6.35 plugs.
2.The +48V phantom switch/LED provides DC +48V phantom power to the XLR plug on the MIC
input jack. Leave this switch off if phantom power is not needed. Slide the knob on the channel
to minimum before turning the switch on/off to prevent noise or damage.
3.The Guitar/Line input shifter is used to connect input channels to different sound sources.When
using this switch, set all level output controls to the minimum position to avoid damage to
external devices or hearing impairment.
4.The MIC input CH 2 band EQ adjusts the overall tone of the channel using a 2-segment
equalizer.
5.The FX send knob adjusts the size of the signal sent to the digital effect processor.
6.The PAN knob positions the channel signal between L/R in the stereo mix.
7.The MIC input volume knob adjusts the volume of the sound input from the microphone or other
source connected to the channel. Avoid the peak light for a long time during normal use.
8.The digital effect processor adjusts the REP knob to adjust how many times the echo repeats,
the DEL knob to adjust the time interval between each echo, and the LEVEL knob to adjust the
volume of the effect processor.
9.The MP3 audio signal volume knob adjusts the audio signal level from the MP3 player.
10.The MAIN output volume knob adjusts the main output volume.
11.The Phones output volume knob adjusts the volume of the headphone output.
12.The MP3 Player/Recorder is controlled using the keyboard.
13.The MP3 Player/Recorder has an LCD display.
14.The MP3 Player/Recorder has a USB port.
15.The MAIN output level meter shows the level of the main output.
16.The stereo input channel volume knob adjusts the volume of the stereo input channel.
17.The stereo input channel balance knob adjusts the balance of the stereo input channel.
18.The 6.35mm specification for the stereo headphone output interrupts.
19.The MAIN output Jacks are XLR balanced output interrupts for the connection of active
speakers, power amplifiers or other audio devices.
20.The 6.35mm-spec stereo line input jack is used for stereo line input.
21.The stereo line input signal sensitivity selection button bounces to +4dB, press 10dB.
22.The DC power supply 5V socket is used to power the device.
23.The power switch turns the device on/off.

System Setup:
To access the main menu, simply press any key when no USB drive is inserted. From there, select
"System Setup" by pressing the selection key and then proceed with the setup by pressing the
"play" key. The following options are available for customization:
A. Backlight Time: You can choose the duration of time before the backlight turns off
automatically when there is no operation.
B. Contrast: Adjust the contrast of the display screen to suit different light environments.
1. Bluetooth Connection:
To connect via Bluetooth, press any key to enter the main menu when a USB drive is not
inserted.Then select "BT mode" by pressing the “selection” key, followed by pressing the "play"
key to connect. The name of the Bluetooth module is B_SPEAKER.
2. Music Mode:
When a USB drive is inserted, music will automatically start playing. In the music interface,
press the "menu" key to access setup options for the music mode, which include:
A. Loop Mode: Choose between all loop, single loop, and random play.
B. EQ Mode: Choose between several balance modes, such as nature, rock, pop, and classic.
C. Master Disc Directory: Quickly select music by reading audio files in the folder.
D. Delete File: Delete the currently played audio file.
3. Record Mode:
In the music interface, long-press the "menu" key to switch to recording mode.Long press the
"play" key to start or pause recording, and long-press the "play" key to finish recording and save
the file in MP3 format with 48Khz sampling and 128Kbs bit rate.
4. Connect to Computer:
Select and confirm the "Connecting" item in the main menu, then use a USB cord to connect the
device to the computer's USB port. This device can be used as a USB sound card to play music.
Any changes made during setup will be stored and memorized upon switch-off.
