Während Installations- und Wartungsarbeiten Schutz-

handschuhe tragen.

Die Wartung sollte von einer qualifizierten Person un-

ter Beachtung der Anweisungen in der Wartungsanlei-

HBestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Die Inneneinheit ist bestimmt für die Installation innerhalb des Gebäu-

des mit Anschluss an eine Außeneinheit und weitere Systemkomponen-

ten, z. B. Regelungen.

Die Außeneinheit ist bestimmt für die Installation außerhalb des Gebäu-

des mit Anschluss an eine oder mehrere Inneneinheiten und weitere Sys-

temkomponenten, z. B. Regelungen.

Die Klimaanlage ist nur für den gewerblichen/privaten Gebrauch be-

stimmt,woTemperaturabweichungen voneingestelltenSollwertennicht

zu Schäden an Lebewesen oder Materialien führen. Die Klimaanlage ist

nicht geeignet, um die gewünschte absolute Luftfeuchte exakt einzustel-

len und zu halten.

Jede andere Verwendung ist nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Unsachgemä-

ßer Gebrauch und daraus resultierende Schäden sind von der Haftung

ausgeschlossen.

ZurInstallationanbesonderen Orten(Tiefgarage,Technikräume,Balkon

oder an beliebigen halb offenen Flächen):

▶ Beachten Sie zunächst die Anforderungen an den Installationsort in

der technischen Dokumentation.

HAllgemeine Gefahren durch das Kältemittel

▶ Dieses Gerät ist mit Kältemittel gefüllt. Kältemittelgas kann bei Kon-

takt mit Feuer giftige Gase bilden.

▶ Anlageregelmäßigdurch einenzugelassenen Fachbetriebinspizieren

und warten lassen.

▶ Wenn Verdacht auf austretendes Kältemittel besteht, den Raum

gründlich lüften und zugelassenen Fachbetrieb benachrichtigen.

HUmbau und Reparaturen

Unsachgemäße Veränderungen an der Klimaanlage können zu Personen-

schäden und/oder Sachschäden führen.

▶ Arbeiten nur von einem zugelassenen Fachbetrieb ausführen lassen.

▶ Keine Änderungen an Außeneinheit, Inneneinheit oder an anderen

Teilen der Klimaanlage vornehmen.

▶ Vor sämtlichen Wartungsarbeiten die Klimaanlage von der Stromver-

sorgung trennen.

HHinweise zum Umgang mit der Anlage

Die falsche Verwendung der Klimaanlage kann Ihre Gesundheit beein-

trächtigen.

▶ Den Körper nicht für längere Zeit direkt dem Luftstrom aussetzen.

▶ Für Säuglinge, Kinder, ältere Menschen, bettlägerige oder behinder-

teMenschensicherstellen,dassdieRaumtemperaturfürdieimRaum

befindlichen Personen geeignet ist.

▶ Niemals Gegenstände in das Gerät einführen, Sie könnten sich verlet-

zen.

Der falsche Umgang mit dem Gerät kann zu Verminderung der Leistung

bis hin zu Geräte- und Personenschaden führen.

▶ Die Lufteintritte und Luftaustritte der Geräte nicht blockieren.

▶ Türen und Fenster während des Betriebs schließen.

▶ Die Inneneinheit vor Wassereintritt schützen.

▶ Das Montagegestell der Außeneinheit regelmäßig auf Verschleiß und

festen Sitz überprüfen.

▶ Kein GewichtaufdieAußeneinheitausüben,z. B.durchGegenstände

oder Personen.

▶ Staub, Dämpfe und Feuchtigkeit im Aufstellraum der Inneneinheit mi-

nimal halten.

▶ Keine leicht entflammbaren Gase in der Nähe der Geräte verwenden,

z. B. aus Sprühdosen.

▶ Wenn irgendetwas mit dem Klimagerät nicht in Ordnung scheint

(z. B. verbrannter Geruch, defektes Kabel), den Betrieb sofort stop-

pen und die Stromversorgung trennen.

HSicherheit elektrischer Geräte für den Hausgebrauch und ähnli-

che Zwecke

Zur Vermeidung von Gefährdungen durch elektrische Geräte gelten ent-

sprechend EN 60335-1 folgende Vorgaben:

„Dieses Gerät kannvon Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber sowie von Per-

sonen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähig-

keiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie

beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unter-

wiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen. Kin-

der dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-

Wartung dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt

werden.“

„Wenn die Netzanschlussleitung beschädigt wird, muss sie durch den

Hersteller oder seinen Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich qualifizierte Per-

son ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.“

Wenn die Luftfeuchtigkeit mehr als 80 % beträgt, kann sich am Luft-

auslass Kondensation bilden. Um dies zu vermeiden, stellen Sie eine

hohe Leistung des Ventilators ein.

3.4.1 Verwendung der Fernbedienung

DieSignalreichweitebeträgt8 m.ImWegstehendeObjekte oder die Ver-

wendung bestimmter Leuchtstofflampen im selben Raum kann die Über-

tragung des Signals beeinflussen.

▶ Fernbedienung auf das Signalempfangsfenster des Geräts richten

und die gewünschte Taste drücken.

Das Gerät macht einen Piepton, wenn es ein Signal empfängt.

HINWEIS

Die einwandfreie Funktion der Fernbedienung kann dauerhaft beein-

trächtigt werden.

▶ Fernbedienung nicht dem direkten Sonnenlicht aussetzen.

▶ Fernbedienung nicht in der Nähe einer Heizung liegen lassen.

▶ Fernbedienung vor Feuchtigkeit und Stößen schützen.

3.5 Tag und Uhrzeit einstellen

▶TasteTIMER drücken, bis das Timerdisplay anfängt zu blinken.

▶ Aktuellen Tag mit Tasten .und /auswählen. Der gewählte Tag

blinkt.

▶TasteTIMER oder Taste drücken, um Eingabe zu bestätigen.

Die Auswahl springt zur Uhrzeit.

▶Taste.oder /drücken oder halten, um die Uhrzeit einzustellen.

▶TasteTIMER oder Taste drücken, um Eingabe zu bestätigen.

Um zwischen 12- und 24-Stunden-Anzeige umzuschalten:

▶TastenTIMER und DAY OFF mehrere Sekunden lang gleichzeitig drü-

cken/halten.

3.6 Hauptbetriebsart einstellen

Je nach Inneneinheit und Konfiguration des kabelgebundenen Raumreg-

lers sind nicht alle Betriebsarten vorhanden.

Gerät ein-/ausschalten

▶TasteKdrücken, um das Gerät ein- oder auszuschalten.

Das Gerät startet in der eingestellten Betriebsart oder schaltet sich

aus. Das Wiedereinschalten ist zum Schutz des Geräts erst nach eini-

ger Zeit möglich.

Auch im ausgeschalteten Zustand können Einstellungen erfolgen. Das

Gerät speichert die Einstellungen, auch bei Stromausfall.

Nach dem Ausschalten bleibt das Gerät im Standby-Betrieb.

Nach einem Stromausfall startet das Gerät automatisch neu. Dies kann

zu Widersprüchen zwischen den Anzeigen führen, die sich während der

Bedienung automatisch beheben.

Automatikbetrieb

Im Automatikbetrieb schaltet das Gerät in Abhängigkeit von der einge-

stellten Temperatur automatisch zwischen Heiz-, Kühl-, Ventilator- und

Entfeuchtungsbetrieb um.

▶TasteMso oft drücken, bis im Display erscheint.

▶ Gewünschte Temperatur mit Taste .oder Taste /einstellen.

Im Automatikbetrieb kann die Ventilatorstufe nicht eingestellt werden.

Kühlbetrieb

▶TasteMso oft drücken, bis im Display erscheint.

▶ Taste so oft drücken, bis die gewünschte Lüftergeschwindigkeit

erreicht ist.

▶ Gewünschte Temperatur mit Taste .oder Taste /einstellen.

Entfeuchtungsbetrieb

▶TasteMso oft drücken, bis im Display erscheint.

▶ Gewünschte Temperatur mit Taste .oder Taste /einstellen.

Im Entfeuchtungsbetrieb kann die Ventilatorstufe nicht eingestellt wer-

den.

Heizbetrieb

▶TasteMdrücken, bis im Display erscheint.

▶ Gewünschte Temperatur mit Taste .oder Taste /einstellen.

▶ Taste so oft drücken, bis die gewünschte Lüftergeschwindigkeit

erreicht ist.

Bei sehr tiefen Außentemperaturen reicht die Heizleistung der Klimaan-

lage ggf. nicht aus. Wir empfehlen weitere Wärmeerzeuger hinzuzuschal-

ten.

Ventilatorbetrieb

▶TasteMso oft drücken, bis im Display erscheint.

3Ventilatorstufe

Indirekter Luftstrom ist aktiv (Wind avoid me).

Turbo Schnellabkühlen/Schnellaufheizen

LED Display der Inneneinheit und Alarmsummer ein- und

ausschalten (Mute Mode).

▶ Taste so oft drücken, bis die gewünschte Ventilatorstufe erreicht

ist. Für die automatische Regelung kann AUTO gewählt werden.

Im Ventilatorbetrieb kann die Temperatur nicht eingestellt oder ange-

zeigt werden.

3.7 Raumtemperatur einstellen

▶Taste.oderTaste/drücken,umdiegewünschteRaumtemperatur

einzustellen.

Nach kurzer Zeit wird die Einstellung übernommen.

Im Ventilatorbetrieb kann die Temperatur nicht eingestellt werden.

3.8 Timer einstellen

3.8.1 Einmaliger Ein-/Ausschalt-Timer

▶TasteTIMER so oft drücken, bis das entsprechende Symbol er-

scheint.

–Einschalt-Timer:ON DAY

– Ausschalt-Timer: OFF DAY

Zum Ausschalten des Geräts während der Wochen-Timer aktiv ist:

Das Gerät schaltet ab, bis der nächste Einschalt-Timer erreicht ist.

▶TasteKzwei Sekunden gedrückt halten, um das Gerät auszuschal-

ten und den Wochen-Timer zu deaktivieren.

Einschaltverzögerung programmieren

Wenn Wochen-Timer 1 aktiviert ist und die Einschaltzeit verzögert wer-

den soll.

▶ Wochen-Timer 1 mit Taste TIMER auswählen.

▶TasteDAY OFF 2x drücken, bis das Display 1h anzeigt.

▶ Mehrere Sekunden warten, während die Einstellung gespeichert

wird.

Das Gerät startet nun den nächsten Aktivitäts-Zyklus mit 1 Stunde

Verzögerung.

▶TasteDAY OFF 3x drücken, bis das Display 2h anzeigt.

Das Gerät startet nun den nächsten Aktivitäts-Zyklus mit 2 Stunden

Verzögerung.

3.8.3 Wöchentlicher Timer

Timer einstellen

Für jeden Tag können bis zu 8 Ereignisse zum Wechsel der Betriebsart,

Temperatur und Ventilatorstufe gesetzt werden.

Um den Tastenton des kabelgebundenen Raumreglers ein- oder auszu-

schalten:

3.9.2 Schnellabkühlen/Schnellaufheizen

Beim Schnellabkühlen/Schnellaufheizen arbeitet die Inneneinheit mit

maximaler Leistung, um den Raum schnell zu heizen oder zu kühlen.

Schnellabkühlen:

▶ Kühlbetrieb einschalten.

▶TasteFUNC. drücken.

▶MitTastebestätigen.

Schnellaufheizen:

▶ Heizbetrieb einschalten.

▶TasteFUNC. drücken.

▶MitTastebestätigen.

Beenden der Funktion:

▶TasteFUNC. erneut drücken.

▶MitTastebestätigen.

3.9.3 Drahtlose Steuerungsfunktion

Diese Funktion dient zum Verbindungsaufbau über WLAN.

Für das Verbinden mit WLAN ist ein eingebautes IP-Gateway (optionales

Zubehör) erforderlich.

3.9.4 Tastensperre

Mit der Tastensperre lassen sich die Tasten des kabelgebundenen Raum-

reglers sperren.

Um die Tastensperre ein-/auszuschalten:

▶TasteTIMER und Taste COPY drei Sekunden lang gleichzeitig drü-

cken/halten.

Bei aktiver Tastensperre zeigt das Display das Symbol .

3.9.5 Mir-Folgen-Funktion (Follow Me)

Diese Funktion aktiviert den Temperaturfühler des kabelgebundenen

Raumreglers. Die Raumtemperatur wird an der Position des kabelgebun-

denen Raumreglers gemessen anstatt an der Inneneinheit.

▶ Ggf. Heiz- oder Kühlbetrieb ausschalten.

▶TasteFUNC. drücken, um die Funktion ein- oder auszuschalten.

Bei aktivierter Funktion zeigt der kabelgebundene Raumregler das

Symbol .

▶MitTastebestätigen.

4Wartung

VORSICHT

Gefahr durch Stromschlag oder bewegte Teile

▶ Vor sämtlichen Wartungsarbeiten die Stromversorgung unterbre-

chen.

▶ Hier nicht aufgeführte Wartungsschritte nur durch einen zugelasse-

nen Fachbetrieb durchführen lassen.

4.1 Batterien wechseln

Sie benötigen 2 Batterien der Größe AAA. Die Verwendung von wieder-

aufladbaren Batterien wird nicht empfohlen.

▶ Batteriefachdeckel abnehmen (Bild 7).

▶ Neue Batterien einsetzen und auf die richtige Polarität achten.

▶ Batteriefachdeckel wieder anbringen.

4.2 Reinigung

HINWEIS

Geräteschaden durch unsachgemäße Reinigung!

▶ Nicht direkt mit Wasser bespritzen oder übergießen.

▶ Kein heißes Wasser, Scheuerpulver oder starke Lösungsmittel ver-

wenden.

▶ Regler zur Reinigung mit einem weichen Tuch abwischen.

▶ Reinigung und Wartung der Innen- und Außeneinheit nur durch einen

zugelassenen Fachbetrieb durchführen lassen.

4.3 Luftfilter reinigen

HINWEIS

Der Luftfilter kann sich im direkten Sonnenlicht verformen.

▶ Luftfilter nicht dem direkten Sonnenlicht aussetzen.

DieLuftfilteralle2 Wochenkontrollierenund falls nötigreinigen. Vorund

nach längerer Außerbetriebnahme immer reinigen.

▶ Inneneinheit ausschalten.

▶ Die Luftfilter herausziehen (Bild 8).

▶ DieLuftfiltermitwarmemWasserundeinemmilden Reinigungsmittel

auswaschen und im Schatten trocknen.

4.4 Längere Außerbetriebnahme und Wieder-

inbetriebnahme

4.4.1 Wartung vor längerer Außerbetriebnahme:

▶ Luftfilter der Inneneinheit reinigen.

▶ Ventilator der Inneneinheit ca. 24 h im Ventilatorbetrieb laufen las-

sen, damit das Innere des Geräts trocknet.

▶ Inneneineinheit ausschalten und von der Stromversorgung trennen.

▶ Geräte vor Staub schützen.

▶ Außeneinheit in regelmäßigen Abständen überprüfen. Kontaktieren

Sie im Fall einer Störung den Kundendienst oder einen autorisierten

Servicetechniker.

4.4.2 Wartung nach längeren Stillstandszeiten

▶ Lufteinlassgitter mit einem sauberen, trockenen Tuch abwischen, da-

mit die Inneneinheit keinen Staub ausbläst.

▶ Sicherstellen, dass Lufteinlass und Luftauslass frei und unverstellt

sind.

▶ Alle Kabel überprüfen und die Stromversorgung herstellen.

▶ Ggf. sicherstellen, dass der Luftfilter eingebaut ist.

5Störungsbehebung

5.1 Störungen mit Anzeige (Self diagnosis functionSelf

diagnosis function)

Wenn während des Betriebs eine Störung auftritt, blinken die LEDs über

einen längeren Zeitraum oder das Display zeigt einen Störungs-Code

(z. B. EH 02).

Wenn eine Störung länger als 10 Minuten auftritt:

▶ Spannungsversorgung für kurze Zeit unterbrechen und die Innenein-

heit wieder einschalten.

Wenn sich eine Störung nicht beseitigen lässt:

▶ Kundendienst anrufen und Störungs-Code sowie Gerätedaten mittei-

len.

5.2 Störungen ohne Anzeige

Wenn während des Betriebs Störungen auftreten, die sich nicht beseiti-

gen lassen:

▶ Kundendienst anrufen und Störung sowie Gerätedaten mitteilen.

Störung Mögliche Ursache

Leistung der Inneneinheit ist zu schwach. Temperatur zu hoch oder zu niedrig eingestellt.

Luftfilter ist verschmutzt und muss gereinigt werden.

Ungünstiger Umgebungseinfluss auf die Inneneinheit, z. B. wegen Hindernissen vor den Luftöffnun-

gen der Geräte, wegen offenen Türen/Fenstern im Raum oder wegen starken Wärmequellen im

Raum.

Der geräuscharme Betrieb ist aktiviert und verhindert das Nutzen der vollen Leistung.

Inneneinheit schaltet nicht ein. Die Inneneinheit hat einen Schutzmechanismus gegen Überlastung. Es kann 3 Minuten dauern, bis

ein Neustart der Inneneinheit möglich ist.

Die Batterien der Fernbedienung sind leer.

Der Timer ist eingeschaltet.

Betriebsart wechselt von Kühlen oder Heizen zu

Ventilatorbetrieb.

Die Inneneinheit ändert die Betriebsart, um die Bildung von Frost zu verhindern.

Die eingestellte Temperatur ist vorläufig erreicht.

Inneneinheit erzeugt weißen Nebel. In feuchten Regionen kann ein großer Temperaturunterschied zwischen Raumluft und klimatisierter

Luft weißen Nebel verursachen.

Inneneinheit und Außeneinheit erzeugen weißen

Nebel.

Wenn nach der automatischen Abtauung direkt der Heizbetrieb läuft, kannwegen der erhöhten Luft-

feuchte weißer Nebel entstehen.

Inneneinheit und Außeneinheit machen Geräu-

sche.

Ein leises zischendes Geräusch während des Betriebs ist normal. Es wird durch das Fließen des Käl-

temittels verursacht.

Ein quietschendes Geräusch kann auftreten, da sich die Metall- und Kunststoffteile des Geräts beim

Heizen/Kühlen ausdehnen oder zusammenziehen.

Die Außeneinheit macht während des Betriebs diverse weitere Geräusche, die normal sind.

Inneneinheit oder Außeneinheit stößt Staub aus. Bei längerenZeiträumen der Außerbetriebnahme kann sich Staub in den Geräten ansammeln, wenn

diese nicht abgedeckt werden.

Schlechter Geruch während des Betriebs. Es können schlechte Gerüche aus der Luft in die Geräte eindringen und weiterverbreitet werden.

Der Luftfilter könnte verschimmelt sein und muss gereinigt werden.

Der Ventilator der Außeneinheit läuft nicht dau-

ernd.

Für einen optimalen Betrieb wird der Ventilator unterschiedlich geregelt.

Der Betrieb ist unregelmäßig oder unvorherseh-

bar oder die Inneneinheit reagiert nicht.

Interferenzen von Mobilfunktürmen oder fremden Signalverstärkern können die Inneneinheit beein-

flussen.

▶ Stromversorgung ausschalten und wieder einschalten.

Luftleitblech oder Luftstromlamelle bewegt sich

nicht richtig.

Luftleitblech oder Luftstromlamelle wurden mit der Hand verstellt oder nicht richtig montiert.

▶ Stromversorgung auschalten und prüfen, ob die Bauteile richtig eingerastet sind.

▶ Stromversorung wieder einschalten.

6 Umweltschutz und Entsorgung

The outdoor unit is intended for installation outside the building with

connection to an indoor unit or units and further system components,

e.g. controls.

The air conditioning system is intended for commercial/residential use

only where temperature deviations from adjusted set points do not lead

todamageofliving beingsormaterials.The airconditioningsystemis not

suitable to set and maintain desired absolute humidity levels precisely.

Any other use is considered inappropriate. Any damage that may result

from misuse is excluded from liability.

For installation at special locations (underground garage, mechanical

rooms, balcony or at any semi-open areas):

▶ First refer to the requirements for the installation site in the technical

documentation.

HGeneral dangers posed by the refrigerant

▶ This appliance is filled with refrigerant. If the refrigerant gas gets into

contact with fire, it may generate toxic gas.

▶ Have the system inspected and serviced regularly by an approved

contractor.

▶ If there is a possibility that refrigerant has escaped, thoroughly

ventilate the room and notify the approved contractor.

HConversion and repairs

If modifications to the air conditioning system are not carried out

correctly, this can result in personal injury and/or material damage.

▶ Have work carried out only by an approved contractor.

▶ Do not make any changes to the outdoor unit, indoor unit or other

parts of the air conditioning system.

HNotices on handling the system

If the air conditioning system is used incorrectly, this could impair your

health.

▶ Do not stand directly in the airflow for any length of time.

▶ Ensure that the room temperature is suitable for all people in the

room, including babies, children, elderly, bedridden or disabled

people.

▶ Never insert objects into the unit, you could injure yourself.

If the unit is handled incorrectly, this can lead to reduced performance

and also damage to the unit and personal injury.

▶ Do not block the air inlets and outlets of the unit.

▶ Shut doors and windows when the unit is in operation.

▶ Protect the indoor unit from water ingress.

▶ Check the outdoor unit mounting rack periodically for wear and to

make sure it is firmly in place.

▶ Do not apply any weight to the outdoor unit, e.g. objects or persons.

▶ Keep dust, steam and moisture in the installation room of the indoor

unit to a minimum.

▶ Do not use highly-flammable gases, e.g. from spray cans, in the

vicinity of the units.

▶ If there appears to be something wrong with the air conditioner

(burning smell or faulty cable for example), stop using it immediately

and disconnect the power supply.

HSafety of electrical devices for domestic use and similar

purposes

The following requirements apply in accordance with EN 60335-1 in

order to prevent hazards from occurring when using electrical

appliances:

“This appliance can be used by children of 8 years and older, as well as

3.4.1 Using the remote control

The signal range is 8 m. If objects are in the way or certain fluorescent

lamps are used in the same room this can affect transmission of the

signal.

▶ Point the remote control towards the signal receiver window of the

device and press the desired key.

The device emits a beep when it receives a signal.

NOTICE

The remote control may be permanently prevented from working

correctly.

▶ Do not expose the remote control to direct sunlight.

▶ Do not leave the remote control near a heating appliance.

▶ Protect the remote control from moisture and impacts.

3.5 Setting the day and time

▶ Press the TIMER key until the timer display starts flashing.

▶ Select the current day with the .and /keys. The selected day

flashes.

▶ Press the TIMER or key to confirm the entry.

The selection jumps to the time.

▶ Press or hold the .or /key to set the time.

▶ Press the TIMER or key to confirm the entry.

To toggle between 12- and 24-hour display:

▶ Press/keeptheTIMERand DAY OFF keyspressedsimultaneouslyfor

several seconds.

3.6 Setting main operating mode

Depending on the indoor unit and configuration of the wired room

controller, not all operating modes may be available.

Switching the appliance on/off

▶PresstheKkey to switch the device on or off:

The unit starts in the set operating mode or switches off. To protect

the unit it can only be switched back on after some time has passed.

Settings can also be made when the appliance is switched off. The

device saves the settings, and also retains them in the event of a power

failure.

After it has been switched off, the unit remains in standby mode.

Following a power failure the unit restarts automatically. This can lead to

conflicting readings on the displays which are resolved automatically

during operation.

Automatic mode

In automatic mode, the unit switches automatically between heating,

cooling, fan and dehumidification mode, depending on the set

temperature.

▶ Press the Mkey repeatedly until appears on the display.

▶ Press the .or /key to set the required temperature.

The fan speed cannot be adjusted in automatic mode.

Cooling mode

▶ Press the Mkey repeatedly until appears on the display.

▶ Press the key until the required air speed is reached.

Dehumidification mode

▶ Press the Mkey repeatedly until appears on the display.

▶ Press the .or /key to set the required temperature.

The fan speed cannot be adjusted in dehumidification mode.

Heating mode

If the outside temperature is very low, the heating capacity of the air

conditioning system may not be sufficient. We recommend connecting

additional heat sources.

Fan (Only) Mode

▶ Press the Mkey repeatedly until appears on the display.

▶ Press the key until the required fan speed is reached. AUTO can

be selected to enable automatic control.

The temperature cannot be adjusted or displayed in fan mode.

3.7 Setting the room temperature

3.8 Setting timer

3.8.1 One-time ON/OFF timer

▶ Press the TIMER key repeatedly until the corresponding symbol

appears.

The clock display starts flashing.

▶ Press the .or /key to set the desired ON/OFF time.

3.8.2 Weekly ON/OFF timer

Deactivating the timer

▶ Keep pressing the TIMER key until WEEK 1 disappears in the display.

To switch off the unit when the week timer is active:

▶ Briefly press Kkey.

The unit switches off until the next ON timer is reached.

▶HoldtheKkey pressed for two seconds to switch off the unit and

deactivate the week timer.

Programming the switch-on delay

If week timer 1 is active and the ON time is to be delayed.

▶ Select week timer 1 with TIMER key.

▶ Press the DAY OFF key 2x until 1h appears on the display.

▶ Wait for a few seconds while the setting is saved.

The unit now starts the next activity cycle following a delay of 1 hour.

▶ Press the DAY OFF key 3x until 2h appears on the display.

The unit now starts the nextactivity cycle following a delay of 2 hours.

3.8.3 Weekly event timer

Setting timer

Up to 8 events can be set for each day to change the operating mode,

temperature and fan speed.

▶ Keep pressing the TIMER key until WEEK 2 appears in the display.

▶ Confirm with key.

▶ Press the .or /key to select the weekday.

▶ Confirm with key.

▶ Press the .or /key to select the setting time, main operating

mode, temperature or fan speed for the event.

▶ Confirm with key.

▶ Make the setting and press the key to confirm or the DAY OFF key

to delete the setting.

▶ Repeat the procedure to define additional setting periods for this

day.

▶ Follow the same procedure to program additional weekdays.

To delete the timer for the selected day:

▶ Press the DAY OFF key.

adopted.

▶ Press the COPY key to copy the settings.

CY appears on the display.

▶ Press the .or /key to select the day to which the settings should

The selected weekday flashes briefly as confirmation.

▶ Repeat the above steps if necessary to copy the information to other

days.

▶ Press the key to adopt the changes.

3.9 Other functions

3.9.1 Switching the key sound on/off

To switch the the key sound of the wired room controller on or off:

▶ Press and hold the and FUNC. keys for three seconds.

3.9.2 Turbo cool/Turbo heat

When Turbo cool/Turbo heat is active, the indoor unit operates at

maximum power to heat or cool the room quickly.

Turbo Cool:

▶ Switch on cooling mode.

▶ Press the FUNC. key.

▶ Confirm with key.

Turbo Heat:

▶ Switch on heating mode.

▶ Press the FUNC. key.

▶ Confirm with key.

Exiting the function:

▶ Press the FUNC. key again.

▶ Confirm with key.

3.9.3 Wireless control function

The purpose of this function is to establish a connection via WLAN.

To connect to WLAN an IP-Gateway (optional accessory) must be

installed.

3.9.4 Keylock

The keys of the wired room controller can be locked with the keylock.

To switch the keylock on or off:

▶ Press/keep the TIMER and COPY keys pressed simultaneously for

three seconds.

The symbol appears in the display when the keylock is active.

3.9.5 Follow me function (Follow Me)

This function activates the temperature sensor of the wired room

controller. The room temperature is measured at the position of the

wired room controller instead of at the indoor unit.

▶ Switch off heating or cooling mode if required.

▶ Press the FUNC. key to switch the function on or off.

When the function is active the wired room unit displays the

symbol.

▶ Confirm with key.

4 Maintenance

CAUTION

Danger due to electric shock or moving parts

▶ Disconnect the power supply before carrying out any maintenance

work.

▶ Have any maintenance steps that are not listed here carried out by an

approved installer.

4.1 Replacing the batteries

You require 2 size AAA batteries. Using rechargeable batteries is not

recommended.

▶ Remove the battery cover (Fig. 7).

▶ Insert new batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

▶ Reinstall the cover.

4.2 Cleaning

NOTICE

Damage to device due to incorrect cleaning!

▶ Do not directly splash or pour water onto them.

▶ Do not use hot water, thinner, abrasive powders or strong solvents.

▶ Clean control unit by wiping with a soft cloth.

▶ Only have the indoor and outdoor units cleaned or serviced by an

approved installer.

4.3 Cleaning the air filter

NOTICE

The air filter may deform in direct sunlight.

▶ Do not expose the air filter to direct sunlight.

Check the air filter every 2 weeks and clean if necessary. Always clean

before and after decommissioning for longer periods.

▶ Switch off the indoor unit.

▶ Pull out the air filter (Fig. 8).

▶ Washthe air filter with hot water and a mild cleaning agent and dry in

the shade.

4.4 When re-commissioning after decommissioning

for an extended period

4.4.1 Maintenance before decommissioning for an extended

period:

▶ Clean the air filter of the indoor unit.

▶ Leave the fan of the indoor unit running for approx. 24 h in Fan Mode

to allow the inside of the appliance to dry.

▶ Switch off the indoor unit and disconnect it from the power supply.

▶ Protect the devices from dust.

▶ Checktheoutdoorunitat regularintervals.Contactcustomerservice

or an authorised service engineer if a fault occurs.

4.4.2 Maintenance after a long period of non -use

▶ Wipe the air inlet grille with a clean dry cloth so the indoor unit does

not blow out dust.

▶ Make sure that the air inlet and air outlet are unobstructed and have

not been inadvertently adjusted.

▶ Check all cables and connect the power supply.

▶ If required, make sure that the air filter is installed.

5Troubleshooting

5.1 Faults with indication (Self diagnosis functionSelf

diagnosis function)

If a fault occurs during operation, the LEDs flash for an extended period

or an error code is displayed (e.g. EH 02).

If a fault is present for more than 10 minutes:

▶ Briefly disconnect the power supply and switch the indoor unit back

on.

If a fault persists:

▶ Call customer service and provide the fault code and details of the

appliance.

5.2 Faults not indicated

If faults occur during operation that cannot be eliminated:

▶ Call customer service about the fault, providing details of the device.

The output of the indoor unit is too low. Temperature is set too high or too low.

Air filter is soiled and must be cleaned.

Unfavourable ambient conditions for the indoor unit,e.g. the ventilation openings ofthe devices are

obstructed, doors/windows in the room are open or the room contains powerful heat sources.

Low-noise operation is activated and prevents the full output from being used.

Indoor unit does not switch on. The indoor unit has a safety mechanism to prevent overloading. It may take 3 minutes , until the

indoor unit can be restarted.

The batteries of the remote control are empty.

The timer is switched on.

The indoor unit changes operating mode to prevent the formation of frost.

The set temperature is reached provisionally.

A white mist is coming from the indoor unit. Inhumid regions,whitemist may appear if there is a significant temperature difference between the

indoor air and air-conditioned air.

White mist is emerging from the indoor unit and

outdoor unit.

If heating mode is activated directly after automatic defrosting, this can generate white mist due to

the higher level of humidity.

There is noise coming from the indoor unit and

outdoor unit.

A quiet hissing noise is normal during operation. This is caused by the flow of refrigerant.

Creaks and squeaks may be heard, as the metal and plastic parts of the device expand or contract

during heating/cooling.

The outdoor unit also emits a range of other noises during operation which is normal.

Dust is being discharged from the indoor unit or

outdoor unit.

Dust may accumulate in the devices if they are shut down for an extended period and not covered.

Unpleasant odour during operation. Unpleasant odours in the air may enter the devices and spread.

There may be mould on the air filter and it must therefore be cleaned.

The fan of the outdoor unit is not running

continuously.

Variable fan control is used to ensure optimum operation.

Operation is irregular or unpredictable or the

indoor unit is not responding.

The indoor unit may be affected by interference from mobile radio masts or external signal

amplifiers.

▶ Switch the power supply off and back on again.

Air baffle or louvres do not run correctly. Air baffle or louvres have been adjusted manually or have not been correctly installed.

▶ Switch the power supply off and check whether the components are engaged correctly.

▶ Switch the power supply back on again.

HUtilizzo conforme alle indicazioni

L'unità interna è destinata all'installazione all'interno di edifici con colle-

gamento ad un'unità esterna e altri componenti di sistema, ad es. termo-

regolazioni.

L'unità esterna è destinata all'installazione all'esterno di edifici con colle-

gamento ad una o più unità interne e altri componenti di sistema, ad es.

termoregolazioni.

L'impianto di condizionamento è destinato unicamente all'uso in locali

commerciali/privati in cui eventuali variazioni di temperatura rispetto ai

valori nominali impostati non possano arrecare danno a persone e ani-

mali o a materiali. L'impianto di condizionamento non è idoneo per

l'impostazione esatta e il mantenimento dell'umidità assoluta dell'aria

desiderata.

L'apparecchio non è progettato per altri usi. L'uso improprio e gli even-

tuali danni risultanti non sono coperti dalla garanzia.

Per l'installazione in posti particolari (parcheggi sotterranei, locali tec-

nici, balconi o qualsiasi area semi-aperta):

▶ Osservare innanzitutto i requisiti sul luogo di installazione nella docu-

mentazione tecnica.

HPericoli generali derivanti dal refrigerante

▶ Questo apparecchio contiene al suo interno il refrigerante. Entrando

a contatto con il fuoco, il gas refrigerante può dare origine a gas tos-

sici.

regolare e la manutenzione dell'impianto.

▶ Sesisospettanofuoriuscite di refrigerante, arieggiare beneil locale e

informare l'azienda specializzata autorizzata.

HConversione e riparazioni

Modifiche improprie all'impianto di condizionamento possono causare

danni alle persone e/o a cose.

▶ Fare eseguire i lavori solo a un'azienda specializzata autorizzata.

▶ Non apportare modifiche all'unità esterna, all'unità interna o ad altre

parti dell'impianto di condizionamento.

▶ Prima di qualsiasi lavoro di manutenzione, scollegare l'impianto di

condizionamento dall'alimentazione elettrica.

HInformazioni per l'utilizzo dell'impianto

L'uso scorretto del condizionatore può essere dannoso per la salute.

▶ Evitare lunghe esposizioni dirette al flusso d'aria.

▶ Nelcasodineonati, bambini,anziani,personeallettateodisabili assi-

curarsi che la temperatura aria ambiente sia adatta per la loro perma-

nenza nel locale.

▶ Per evitare il pericolo di lesioni, non introdurre mai oggetti nell'appa-

recchio.

L'uso errato dell'apparecchio può ridurne la potenza e causare danni

all'apparecchio stesso e alle persone.

▶ Non bloccare le aperture di ingresso e di uscita dell'aria dell'apparec-

chio.

▶ Chiudere porte e finestre durante il funzionamento.

▶ Proteggere l'unità interna dalla penetrazione d'acqua.

▶ Controllare regolarmente il telaio di montaggio dell'unità esterna per

verificare l'assenza di usura e il saldo fissaggio.

▶ Non esercitare pesi sull'unità esterna, ad es. con oggetti o persone.

▶ Contenere il piùpossibilelapresenza di polvere, vapore e umidità nel

luogo di posa dell'unità interna.

▶ Non utilizzare gas facilmente infiammabili in prossimità dell'apparec-

chio, ad es. bombolette spray.

▶ Se il condizionatore si comporta in modo anomalo (ad es. odore di

bruciato, cavo conduttore difettoso), interrompere immediatamente

il funzionamento e scollegare l'alimentazione elettrica.

HSicurezza degli apparecchi elettrici per l'uso domestico ed uti-

lizzi similari

Per evitare pericoli derivanti daapparecchi elettrici, valgono le seguenti

direttive secondo CEI EN 60335-1:

«Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato da bambini a partire dagli 8

anni in su di età, e da persone con ridotte capacità fisiche, sensoriali o

mentali o con esperienza e conoscenza inadeguate, solo se sono super-

visionati o se sono stati istruiti sull'utilizzo sicuro dell'apparecchio e se

dell'apparecchio con temperature al di fuori dell'intervallo sopra indi-

cato.

Se l'umidità dell'aria supera l'80%, sull'uscita dell'aria può formarsi
