formationconcerningtheBYEBIKEwarranty.
Youmustensurethatwarrantyanddelivery
filesareproperlycompleted.Keepyourvehi-
cleinperfectconditionandgetmaximumpro-
tectionunderwarrantybyensuringthatyour
vehiclereceivesregularcareinaccordance
withtheBYEBIKErecommendations.
BYE BIKE Warranty
TECNIGASPARTSS.L.(HereinafterTG)as
manufacturerofBYEBIKEvehicles(herein-
afterBB)herebywarrantstotheconsumer,
thepurchaserofavehiclemanufacturedby
TG,boththematerialsandthemanufacturing
arefreeofdefectsinaccordancewiththe
highestqualitystandards.Consequently,TG,
herebyguaranteestheconsumer(hereafter,
the"buyer"),inaccordancewiththeconditions
statedbelow,repairingdefectsinmaterials
andworkmanshipdetectedonanewvehicle
withoutcharge,withintheperiodofwarranty
withoutanylimitationinthenumberofkilo-
metresornumberofoperatinghours.
ThisWarrantyandServiceRecordmust
beavailabletothedealerwhenrequesting
revisions,repairsorwarranty.
Keepthismanual,asitwillberequestedto
benefitfromthewarranty,aswellasforfuture
referencesyoumayneed.Thismanualshould
beconsideredpartofthevehicleandshould
remainwithhimincaseoftransmission.
Warranty Period
Thewarrantyperiodbeginsonthedate
ofregistrationofthevehicleor,ifthevehicle
remainswithoutregistering,fromthedateof
sale.
Thesellerisresponsiblefornonconformi-
tiesthatbecomeapparentwithintherequire-
mentsofLaw23/2003July10ofGuarantees
SalesofConsumerGoodsandwithDirective
1999/44/ECforMemberStatesoftheEuro-
peanCommunity.Forcountriesoutsidethe
EuropeanCommunity,thewarrantyperiod
shallbegovernedbytheregulationsthereof.
However,ifthenonconformitybecomes
apparentduringthefirstsixmonthsafterthe
saleofthevehicle,itisassumedthatthefault
existedwhenthevehiclewasdelivered;from
thesixthmonth,theconsumermustprove
thatthenonconformityexistedwhenthevehi-
clewasdelivered.Duringthefirstsixmonths
afterthedeliveryoftherepairedvehicle,the
sellerisliableagainstforthenonconformity
whichledtherepair.
Anydefectsdetectedintheproductmust
bebroughttotheattentionofanauthorized
BYEBIKEdealerduringthewarrantyperiod.
IfthelastdayofthewarrantyperiodisaSun-
dayorpublicholiday,thewarrantyperiodwill
beextendeduntilthenextbusinessday.
Warrantyclaimsfornonconformitiesnot
broughttotheattentionofanauthorizedBYE
BIKEdealerbeforetheendofthewarranty
periodwillbeexcluded.
Buyer obligations
TGisentitledtodenyanywarrantyif:
1.Thebuyerhasfailedtosubmitthevehicle
toanyoftheinspectionsand/orservicework
requiredintheuser'smanualand/orexceed-
edthedatesetforsuchinspectionsorservice
work.Italsobeexcludedfromthewarranty
anynonconformitythatappearedbeforethe
datesetforaninspectionorservicework
andthisinspectionorserviceworkwasnot
carriedoutoritwascarriedoutafterthedate
setbyTG.
2.Whenaninspection,serviceworkand/
orrepairofthevehiclehavebeenexecutedby
thirdpartiesnotrecognizedbyTG.
3.Anyserviceworkand/orrepairhas
beenexecutedinviolationofthetechnical
requirements,specificationsandinstructions
ofthemanufacturer.
4.SparepartsnotauthorizedbyTGhave

beenusedinserviceworksand/orrepairs
orwhenfuels,lubricantsandotherliquids
(includingcleaningproducts)thatwerenotex-
presslymentionedbythemanufacturerhave
beenusedinthevehicle.
5.Thevehiclehasbeeninanywayaltered,
modifiedorfittedwithcomponentsthatnot
havebeenspecificallyauthorizedbyTG.
6.Thevehiclehasbeenstoredortrans-
portednotinagreementwiththetechnical
requirements.
7.Thevehiclehasbeenusedforaspecial
useotherthantheordinaryone,likeraces.
8.Thevehiclehassufferedanaccident.
Warranty Exclusions
Thefollowingitemsareexcludedfromthe
warranty:
1.Wearpartsincluding,withoutlimitation,
sparkplugs,batteries,fuelfilters,airfilter
elements,chain,engineoutputpinions,
sprockets,airfilters,brakediscsordrums,
padsorbrakeshoes,clutchdiscs,bulbs,fus-
es,footrestrubbers,tyres,tubes,cablesand
otherrubbercomponents.
2.Lubricants(suchasoil,grease,...)and
workingfluids(batteryliquid,coolant...).
3.Inspection,adjustmentandothermainte-
nanceaswellasallkindofcleaningjobs.
4.Paintdamageandconsequentcorro-
sionduetoexternalfactors(suchasstones,
salt,exhaustgasesandotherenvironmental
impacts),impropercleaningorunsuitable
productinfluences.
5.Damagecausedbynonconformities
anddirectlyorindirectlyexpenses(commu-
nicationcosts,accommodationexpenses,
carhirecosts,publictransportcosts,courier
costs...)andotherdamages(causedbythe
lossofuseofavehicle,lossofrevenue,loss
oftime...).
6.Acousticoraestheticphenomenathatdo
notsignificantlyaffecttheuseofthevehicle
(forexample,smallorhiddenimperfections,
noiseorvibrations).
7.Nonconformitiesduetoageofthevehicle
(forexample,discolouringofpainting).
Notes
1.Iftherepairofthenonconformityor
replacementoftheaffectedpartisoutofpro-
portion,TGcandecideinitssolediscretion
whethertorepairortoreplacedefectiveparts.
2.Theownershipofthereplacedpartsshall
passtoTGwithoutanyotherconsideration.
TheauthorizedBYEBIKEdealerentrusted
torepairthevehicleisnotauthorizedtodo
bindingdeclarationsonbehalfofBYEBIKE
orTG.
3.Incaseofdoubtregardingtheexistence
ofadefectorifainspectionisrequired,TG
reservestherighttorequestthereturnofthe
affectedpartsortoarrangeaninspectionof
thedefectbyanTGexpert.Anyadditional
warrantyobligationsforpartsreplacedfree
ofchargeorforanyserviceprovidedwithout
chargeunderthiswarrantyshallbeexcluded.
Warrantyofthereplacedpartsunderwarran-
typeriodwillendonthedateofexpiryofthe
warrantyperiodoftheproductconcerned.
4.Ifadefectcannotberepairedandthe
replacinghasadisproportionatecosttothe
manufacturer,buyerwillbeentitledtocancel
thecontract(compensationpayment)ora
partialrefundofthepurchaseprice(discount)
insteadofrepairingthevehicle.
5.Warrantyclaimsbythepurchaserunder
thecontractofsalewiththecorresponding
authorizedBYEBIKEdealershallnotbe
affectedbythiswarranty.Thiswarrantydoes
notaffectanyadditionalcontractualrightsof
thepurchaserunderthegeneralconditionsof
theauthorizedBYEBIKEdealer.
6.Ifthepurchaserresellstheproductwithin
thewarrantyperiod,thetermsandconditions
ofthiswarrantywillbetransferredtothenew
ownerofthevehicle.

1.2. Practice
Evenifyouhaveriddenothermotorbikes,
practiceridinginasafeplacetobecome
familiarwithhowthisvehicleworksand
handles,andtobecomeaccustomedtothe
vehicle'ssizeandweight.Donotrideifyou
arenotqualifiedandonlylendyourvehicle
tootherqualifiedriders.
1.3. Before riding
Makesurethatyouarephysicallyfit,
mentallyfocusedandfreeofalcoholand
drugs.Checkthatyouandyourpassenger
arebothwearinganapprovedmotorcycle
helmetandprotectiveapparel.Wearaface
shieldorglasses.Neverwearloose-fitting

controlleversorwheelsandcauseinjuryor
anaccident.Makeyourselfmorevisibleby

Maximum weight capacity (including

iness,nausea,confusion,andeventually
death.

Carbon monoxide is toxic.
Do not run engine indoors.
Donotrunengineinpoorlyventilatedor
partiallyenclosedareas,carbonmonoxide
canrapidlyreachdangerouslevels.
1.6. Maintenance
Maintenanceistheownersresponsibil-
ity.Allmaintenanceoperationsmustbe
doneinordertokeepthevehicleingood
condition.

1.7. After-market parts, ac-
cessories and modifications
Addingaccessoriesorcargotoyour
vehiclecanadverselyaffectstabilityand
handling.Westronglyadvisethatyoudo
notaddanyaccessoriesthatwerenotspe-
cificallydesignedforyourvehiclebyBYE
BIKEormakemodificationstoyourscooter
fromitsoriginaldesign.Doingsocanmake
itunsafe.Modifyingyourvehiclemayalso
voidyourwarrantyandmakeyourvehicle
illegaltooperateonpublicroads.Before
