1.2PROGRAMMABLE KEYS
To facilitate operations, your radio provides six programmable keys (Side key 1, Side key 2, Top
key, Function key 1, Function key 1 and Function key 3), and each programmable key can be
assigned with one of the following functions by the product distributor through setting shown as the
following table.

2.2LED INDICATOR

After a call is established, there is no voice

3 BASIC OPERATIONS
3.1Power On/Off Your Radio
To power on your radio, rotate the Power/Volume rotary knob clockwise until a click is heard.
To power off your radio, rotate the Power/Volume rotary knob counterclockwise until a click is
heard.
3.2Turn Up/down the Volume
After powering on your radio, rotating the Power/Volume rotary knob clockwise can turn up the
volume, and rotating the Power/ Volume rotary knob counterclockwise can turn down the volume.
3.3Select a Zone
You can add channels in one zone to manage the channels efficiently. Your radio supports up to 32
zones. One zone contains up to 32 channels. After powering on radio, you can enter the zone
menu through the menu key, press up/down key to select the needed zone, and press OK key to
switch to selected zone.
3.4Select a Channel
In radio standby interface, you can rotate the Channel selection rotary knob and switch the current
working channel. Rotating clockwise can turn down the channel, and rotating counterclockwise
can turn up the channel.
3.5Lock/Unlock the Keypad
When you do not need to use the keypad, you can lock the keypad to prevent accidental operation.
You can lock or unlock the keypad in the following ways:
By programming key: If your dealer has set the keypad lock shortcut, you can press this key to
lock or unlock the keypad.
4 Call
To ensure that the called party can hear you clearly, keep the microphone 2.5 cm to 5 cm away
from your mouth when you speak.

4.1Private Call
4.1.1 Initiate a private call
You can initiate a private call in the following ways:
Through the contact or call log
1. Press Menu key to enter into the main menu;
2. Select Contact -> Contact list, or select call log to enter the Called/Received/Missed call list;
3. Use Up/Down key to select the private call contact needed;
4. Press PTT key to initiate the private call.
Through the missed call in the prompt interface
You can press PTT key to initiate a private call through the missed call in the prompt interface.
4.1.2 Answer a private call
After receiving a private call, your radio shall establish the call automatically. After the call is
successful, your radio plays the alert tone. If there is no answer, a missed call prompt is displayed
to remind the user.
4.2Group Call
4.2.1 Initiate a group call
You can initiate a group call through one of the following ways:
•Initiate a group call to a preset group contact
In radio standby interface, press the PTT key to initiate a group call to the transmit contact preset
for the current channel.
•Initiate a group call via the group contact
1. In radio standby interface, press menu key to enter the main menu;
2. Select Contact -> Contact list, or select call log to enter the Called/Received/Missed call list;
3. Use Up/Down key to select the group call contact needed;
4. Press PTT key to initiate the group call.
4.2.2 Answer a group call
After receiving a group call, your radio shall establish the call automatically. After the call is
established successful, your radio plays the alert tone.
4.2.3 Late Entry
After the group call is established, it is allowed that the member, which has not joined the group
call, to be connected to the group call again during call communication.

5 The Third Party Application Notice
If you use unlicensed third party software to upgrade the radio firmware and system, there may be
security risks that the radio gets unavailable or your personal information gets revealed.
Please use online upgrade or download the official software which matches your radio model to do
upgrade.
After your radio upgrade, all your personal information may be removed, please backup personal
information before upgrade.
6 SAFETY INFORMATION
1. Please read the manual carefully before using the radio;
2. Do not put the battery or radio into fire or liquid, and do not disassemble it without permission;
3. Do not use the bulging battery;
4. It is recommended to replace the battery when it has been used for 3 years;
5. Please use the original battery, charger, antenna and other accessories, do not bend the
antenna during use;
6. Please power off the radio and do not use in flammable and explosive environment;
7. Do not use the battery to come into contact with metal, greasy and corrosive items;
8. Discarded batteries should be sorted and recycled;
9. Please protect the integrity of the seal labels in the radio, such as the labels on the screws, etc.;

- This radio is designed for and classified as “Occupational/Controlled Use Only”, meaning it must
be used only during the course of employment by individuals aware of the hazards, and the ways
to minimize such hazards; NOT intended for use in an General population /uncontrolled
environment.
- DO NOT operate the radio without a proper antenna attached, as this may damage the radio and
may also cause you to exceed RF exposure limits. A proper antenna is the antenna supplied with
this radio by the manufacturer or an antenna specifically authorized by the manufacturer for use
with this radio.
-DO NOT transmit for more than 50% of total radio use time, more than 50% of the time can
cause RF exposure compliance requirements to be exceeded.
- This transmitter may operate with the antenna(s) documented in this filing in Push-to-Talk and
