Battery charging condition
The power supply
Use a power adapter or USB port on a PC to recharge the battery. Regarding
the adapter, he must meet these conditions* :
1. Input (to the main outlet)
•100 - 240 V
•50/60 Hz
•0.32A (320 mA) - 0,50A (500mA)
2. Output (to the charging cable)
•5 V Max
•1 A (1000 mA) Max
•5 W Max
*This data is visible on all adapters, regardless of brand (see above picture )
Ideal condition for use
The ambient temperature as well as the camera temperature
must be above -10°C.
IMPORTANT !
If these conditions are not met, the autonomy of the battery will decrease.!
The battery capacity is 1100 mAh.
In order to keep the camera in working order, fully charge the battery every 3
months or so that it remains in optimal conditions of use.

Ideal conditions for charging
The ambient temperature as well as the camera temperature must be between
10°C and 45°C. !
To ensure proper charging of the internal battery, make sure that the Cambox is
turned offduring the charging cycle.

Functionalities
Battery charging
When delivered, the battery of your Cambox is partially charged.
1. Remove the cap at the end of the camera
2. Charge the battery using the supplied USB-C cable.
Once connected, the battery status LED turns red during all the charing
process and then becomes solid green once battery is fully charged.
Approximately 4 hours are required to fully recharge the battery using a 230 V
USB wall outlet.
Charging can also be done using an external power bank, a laptop USB port, or
a car cigarette lighter, however with these methods charging will be much longer.
Battery status
When the camera’s battery level is too low, the battery
status LED changes :
-LOW : the LED flashes red
-CRITICAL : the LED turns solid red
When the Cambox reaches critical battery level, the video
recording and the Wifi connection are automatically turned off.
CAUTION !
If your Cambox turns off automatically a few seconds after turning it on, this is due to
either a low battery, a full or missing micro SD card (not enough free space available to
record photos / videos on the card).
The battery can not be removed from the camera. When charging the camera using a
computer, make sure the computer is also powered. If the camera light indicators do not
turn on, please use another USB port.

You can check the battery level by launching the Cambox
smartphone app.

Functionalities
Power on / Start the camera
Push the ON/OFF button for 1 second, the camera status LED
will turn solid white.
By default, «!auto record mode!» is activated, the camera
automatically starts recording when you turn it on.
When the Cambox is recording the camera status LED
is blinking green and you hear 2 vibrations.

Before using your Cambox, be sure to check the following points :
1) Is the battery fully charged ?
2) Is there enough free space on your micro SD card ?"
3) Is the SD slot/USB-C port is well closed ?

Before inserting the SD card in the SD slot, make sure the slot is clean or you
might damage it.

Functionalities
Pause
To stop recording, perform a quick press on the ON/OFF power button
of your camera to switch to pause mode.
The camera emits a short vibration and the LED changes from
blinking green to solid red, confirming the camera has stopped recording.
The camera is now on pause.
Perform a quick press
When on pause mode, perform a quick press on the ON/OFF button
to start a new video.
Recording
Perform a quick press
The camera vibrates twice and the LED changes from solid red to
blinking green, confirming that recording has resumed.

Functionalities
Turn off/ shut down the camera
Press the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds.
You hear a long vibration and the red LED gradually decreases
until the camera is completely turned off.

Fasten your Cambox
The Velcro fastener gluing needs to be done in a temperate and non moist
atmosphere (approximately 15°C) to ensure maximum grip of the glue. It is also
recommended to wait at least 4 hours before placing the Cambox on its clean and
dry support !
It is advised to wait at least 4h after gluing before fixing your Cambox
Prior to gluing, it is recommended to
place the fastener under your visor
in order to memorize its future
position.
Remove meticulously the paper
protection of the velcro in such a
way that your fingers do not touch
the adhesive part.
Place the velcro fastener under the
visor and press strongly on all the
surface to ensure a good bonding.
Present the Cambox horizontally in front
of its velcro support.
Apply a pressure on the 3 parts of the
Cambox as depicted

Remove your Cambox
Make sure that the velcro fastener support is in good condition and that there is no
foreign matter that could hinder the fastening of the camera. In that case, plan the
replacement of the velcro by a new original one.
Once the first wing is detached from
its velcro support, accompany the
unfastening process of the Cambox
by applying the same vertical and
circular effort.
Remove the central part and apply
the vertical and circular effort
towards the extremity of the
Cambox to complete removing the
camera.
Grab the strap on the edge of the !
Cambox wing and pull it!
upwards while doing a circular !
movement towards the center of the
Cambox. !

IMPORTANT !!
The wings of the Cambox only articulate from up to down and v.v. Make sure not to
fold them from front to back and v.v. or you might damage the articulations and/or the
shell of your Cambox

Set the viewing angle
The central part of the Cambox has a tilting lens that allows you to
modify the viewing angle on 20°.
You have access to 3 predefined angles thanks to some notches :
A : Horizontal angle of -5°
B : Horizontal angle of +5°
C : Horizontal angle of +15°
In order to accurately determine the desired viewing angle,
download and install the Cambox App on your smartphone to
check in real time your viewing angle thanks to the preview
mode.
During the viewing angle set up, be careful not to touch the camera lens with your
fingers as this could result in blurred or degraded images. Before every use, it is
recommended to clean the camera lens using the provided cleaning cloth.

IMPORTANT !!
The articulation of the lens has only 3 mechanical notches, make sure not to force
beyond those.

Transfer your files
Once the device is detected, you will find a disk drive where your videos and
photos are stored.
Push briefly on the memory card to remove it from the
Cambox.
If you have a micro SD card reader on your pad or
smartphone, directly insert the memory card.
If you only have a SD reader on your SD computer, insert the
micro SD in the supplied SD adapter.
Via USB cable
Turn on your Cambox as usual, then pause the record is the
auto record is set on."
The power LED must be solid red"
Plug the USB cable between your Cambox and your computer,
it will automatically detect a new device.
Via the SD card
Activate the Cambox Wifi by pressing the button , the wifi
LED turns on and starts flashing indicating it is ready to be
paired.
Search on your device the list of available Wifi networks and
connect to the network named by default :
Cambox - V4xxx - xxxxxxxx
Enter the Cambox wifi password :

The Wifi LED turns solid orange indicating that the Cambox is
now connected to your device.

Cambox Smartphone App
Download the Cambox App from the App Store or the Google Play Store in order to
change your camera settings.!
Please note that some features are not yet enabled in the app and will be added in the
next released updates.!
This is why we are inviting you to install the future updates as soon as these are available
in order to always benefit from the latest features and firmware evolutions.

1. Turn on the Cambox 2. Activate the wifi of the Cambox
Activate the wifi of your Cambox
Push briefly the camera Wifi button. The Wifi LED then
flashes orange.
Press 1 second the On/Offbutton of your camera. Once the
Power LED starts blinking green, press briefly the On/Off
button again to pause the camera. The Power LED turns solid
red.

The preview mode allows you to visualize in real time your new videos
settings (brightness, saturation, white balance…) and to adjust your
viewing angle.!
To enable Preview mode, slide the button to the right!
The Cambox® power LED will turn solid blue, and then flashing blue to indicate that
video stream is on …
To disable this mode, slide the same button to the left.!
The Cambox® power LED will turn solid red, to indicate that the camera is now
ready to start a new video recording.
Preview mode activation
Once the preview mode is enabled, it is not possible to record a video at the same time.
Some modes, settings and options presented are not available on all our models.
