To start
Turn on / Start the camera
Press the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds

The green (6) and the blue LED (7) turn on simultaneously indicating that the
camera is on.
Video recording starts automatically
After a few seconds, the Cambox vibrates twice
The LED starts to blink every second indicating that the video
recording is on, 2 modes are available :
Flashing blue LED"
Video record is on "
FullHD 1080 mode"
30 frames / second
Flashing green LED "
Video record is on"
HD720 mode"
60 frames / second
⚠
Before using your Cambox, be sure to check the following points :
1) The battery is fully charged
2) You have enough free space available on your memory card!
All this information is available via the application

To start
Pause
Press the ON/OFF button of your Cambox when it is ON. The Cambox emits 1
vibration and the LED becomes solid. !
The Cambox is paused.
Press the ON/OFF button of your Cambox when it is paused.
Relaunch the record
The Cambox emits 2 vibrations and the LED starts flashing again
every second indicating the video record is on.

Fasten your Cambox
Preparation
Before glueing, it is recommended to place the fastener under your visor
in order to memorize its future position.!
Remove meticulously the paper protection of the velcro in such a way
that your fingers do not touch the adhesive part.
The velcro fastener needs to be stored during at least 4 hours in a temperate and non moist
atmosphere to ensure maximum grip of the glue.!
!
Maker sure that the velcro fastener support is in good condition and that there is no foreign
matter that could hinder the fastening of your camera. In that case, plan the replacement of
the velcro by a new one. 8

Stick the velcro fastener
Place the velcro fastener under the visor and press strongly on all the
surface in order to ensure a good fastening
Attach your Cambox
Present the Cambox horizontally in front of
its velcro support.
Apply a pressure on the 3 Cambox points
as depicted in order to ensure a good
fastening between the 2 velcro strips.
Remove my Cambox
Grab the strap on the edge of the Cambox
wing and pull the strap upwards while doing
a circular movement towards the center of
the Cambox
Once the first wing is detached from its
velcro support, accompany the unfastening
process of the Cambox by applying the
same vertical and circular effort.
Remove the central part and apply the
vertical and circular effort towards the
extremity of the Cambox to complete the
removing operation

IMPORTANT !!
The wings of the Cambox can only be folded vertically (up to down). Make sure not to fold
them from front to back to prevent damages to the shell of your Cambox.

Set the viewing angle
Adjust the lens
The central part of the Cambox has a central tipper that allows you to
modify the viewing angle on 35°. The selection of the angle is made
easy and maintained thanks to its integrated notches system.
In order to define accurately the desired viewing angle, download and
install our application on your smartphone to check in real time your
viewing angle thanks to the live preview.

During the viewing angle set up, be careful not to touch the camera lens with your fingers as
this could result in blurred or degraded images. Before every use, it is recommended to clean
the camera lens using the provided cleaning cloth.

Play your content
Via USB cable
Plug the USB cable between your Cambox and your computer, it
will automatically detect a new device.
Enable the Wifi and launch the application on your smartphone
(see P. 14).

Via the memory card
Push briefly on the memory card to remove it.
If you have a MicroSD card reader on your tablet or smartphone,
insert the memory card directly.
If you only have a SD reader on your computer, insert the MicroSD
in the supplied SD adapter.

IMPORTANT !
Once the device is detected, you will find a disk drive where your videos and photos are
stored.

Charge the battery

PLUG THE USB CORD
Open the rubber flap and plug the cable in the USB socket
CHARGE IN PROGRESS, LISTENING MODE
Once the USB cable is plugged to an external source, the green,
blue and red LEDs appear simultaneously. With this charging mode
it is still possible to launch a record or enable the Wifi
CHARGE IN PROGRESS , STANDBY MODE
After 3 minutes of charge, the Cambox emits a vibration and a red
light appears indicating the recharge is in progress.

Battery information
CAUTION !
If your Cambox automatically turns off few seconds after being turned on, this is
caused either by a too low battery level, a full memory card (not enough free space
to record datas on the card) or a missing card.

It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the battery via a 230V USB
power outlet.
The charging time might be longer if you plug the Cambox to
another source (car USB charger, computer, etc…)
The Cambox emits 3 vibrations in order to indicate that the
battery level is too low and the extinction is imminent !
You can verify the battery level by opening the smartphone
application (see P. 15)
IMPORTANT !
Il those conditions are not met, the autonomy and the performance of the battery
can be impacted.!
In order to guarantee that the battery works correctly, make sure to fully charge it at
least once every 3 months.

Use a power adapter or USB port on a PC to recharge the battery. Regarding
the adapter, he must meet these conditions* :
1. Input (to the main outlet)
•100 - 240 V
•50/60 Hz
•0.32A (320 mA) - 0,50A (500mA)
2. Output (to the charging cable)
•5 V Max
•1 A (1000 mA) Max
•5 W Max

Install the mobile application

Download the mobile app
You have to install this application on your smartphone in order to
interact wirelessly with your Cambox.
This application allows you to :
• Visualize in real time your viewing angle
• Check the status of your camera
• Start / stop a video
• Take a photo
• Change the settings
• Access to your video and photo gallery
• Download / delete your files
IMPORTANT !
To interact with your smartphone, it is necessary to turn ON your Cambox then
enable the Wifi antenna of your camera. To do so, see instructions on page 14.

Connect your smartphone

Enable the embedded Wifi antenna
When your camera is on, press the ON/OFF button to pause the camera
(see page 7), the blue light turns solid. Cambox is ready to activate the
wifi.
The Cambox will display a flashing yellow
LED to confirm that the Wifi antenna is
enabled and the camera is ready to be
paired.
Pair with your smartphone
In your smartphone’s Wifi settings, select the network called Cambox
ISI3, MKV3 or XTRM3, and enter the default password :

Once the connexion is established between your smartphone and the
Cambox, the yellow LED will stop flashing and will turn solid.

If the Cambox is on and is not recording (pause
mode), the camera can switch off automatically
WIFI SETTINGS
You can define your own Wifi network name and a
new password (you will have to restart the Cambox).
* The Cambox automatically creates a new storage file every X minutes .
You can select an interval of 5, 15 or 30 minutes. For a nomad use via
Wifi, prefer a setting of 5 minutes in order to download the files on your
phone faster.

react

Impossible to enable the
Wifi of the camera

Impossible to connect to

1) Check that the yellow LED of the camera
flashes
2) Scan networks via your smartphone in order
to find the network beginning by Cambox
3) Enter the password and be sure the Cambox
yellow LED remains solid (peering successful)
SYMPTOMS
CAUSES AND SOLUTIONS
I am not sure the Cambox
is fully charged
1) Respect the charging instructions (≈2 hours)
2) Open the application on your smartphone to
check the battery level (P. 31)
The Cambox turns off
randomly
1) The Cambox switches to safety mode in the
case of excessive temperature (lower than -
5°C and more than + 55°C)
2) Check that the Cambox is well fastened to its
support and that no element is in contact with
the buttons on the front side
3) Check that no one is connected via Wifi on
your camera

Instructions to respect

Safety and warnings
Use : Respect terms of uses and follow applicable regulations and
laws including private life protection laws, that can ban the use of the
camera in specific areas. This product should not be used for any
illegal purposes. The user is fully responsible for its uses. Be careful
when using your Cambox as part of your sports activities. Pay
attention to what is going on around you to avoid hurting you or
hurting someone. Make sure not to drill, bolt or generally speaking to
transform your helmet, this in order to ensure your safety level.
Respect all the applicable laws when using your Cambox, its
fasteners and accessories.
Recycling : Please contact the competent local authority for
recycling to have more information about this product. Do not dispose
with household waste.
Battery : Do not attempt to remove the battery (note : battery
recycling must be in accordance with local environment regulations,
see “ Recycling” above.) If the recording function as not been used
for some time, make sure to fully charge the camera before using it.
File security : This product is not a professional storage device. It
does not guarantee the integrity and security of saved files.
