Do not operate your CAMSPORTS while moving.
Only handle the camera when it is safe for you and for others.
Do not place your CAMSPORTS near sources of heat or near extremely high temperatures, as doing so

Your camera includes a class 2 laser pointing device (CDRH Class II, IEC Class 2). Never look directly

Routine care
Clean your CAMSPORTS with a soft cloth. Do not use a rasive powders or solvents, such as enzene or

The CAMSPORTS HDmax is a small, all-in-one design that is convenient for you to record activities
anytime and anywhere. With the high speed dynamic photograph function, it can clearly record any
activity, and let you share the experience with any ody. The HDmax has world leading digital
video/photography/audio storage, high-speed HDMI video transmission and other functions, as well
as a num er of invention patents & technical patents.
The CAMSPORTS HDMax comes in two different version :
-HDMax Premium : works only in 30 frames per second
-HDMax Extreme : has additional 60 frames per second modes (1280 x 720p and 848 x 480p) and
additional accessories (HDMI ca le, wired remote control)
Water-resistant features
The HDMax is not waterproof unless used with the optional waterproof case (sold separatly)
CAMSPORTS will not assume any responsi ility for damages or malfunctions caused y liquid entering
the cameras as result of misuse. Your CAMSPORTS is shock resistant.

Using your LASER pointing evice (please rea the safety information):
The laser pointing device indicates the position of the rotating lens. Rotate the lens until the laser line
is perfectly horizontal. The laser will come on for 10 seconds when you start recording and then go
out automatically. To switch the laser ack on while recording, quickly press and release the record
utton. To switch it ack off, press the record utton again.

Please check the current software version if you want to get the latest firmware update then please

Mounts
-A .Cradle: with two 1/4 tripod threads fitted for use with other mounts as shown elow, this
camera can e widely used with any equipment and any application.
-B. Goggle Strap Mount: can e fixed on to your goggle strap and any other elastic and or
strap.
-C. Flat Mount: With a high performance, waterproof and heat-resistant 3M sticker at the
ack, it is ideal for flat, non-porous surfaces.
-D. Bar Mount: with 3 sizes of ru er, the camera can e mounted on to the tu es of
mountain ike handle ars, roll ar cages etc.
-E: Vented Helmet Mount, with the Velcro strap is ideal for mounting the camera to various
styles of vented helmets.
Installing the battery
-Slide the lock on the rear cover and it will
automatically open. (1)
-Follow the instructions. Insert the attery with
the correct Polarity (+/-)
-Push the rear cover closed. (2)
-NOTE: If you do not intend to use the produc for
a long time, please remove the attery.
-Batteries contain chemical su stances so they
should e handled and disposed of correctly.
Installing the micro-SD car
-Slide the lock on the rear cover and it will
automatically open. (Refer to picture4)
-Follow the instructions. Insert the SD card in
the correct direction. (Refer to picture 5)
-Push the ack cover to the closed position.
(Please refer to picture6)
Note: The HDMax requires a class 4 or a ove SD
card to operate correctly. Most faults with
operating cameras are ecause a cheap SD card is
used. Choose additional SD cards with care.
Installing the mounts
Fix the mounts to the camera in the correct direction.
Using the screw cap to fix the mount to the 1/4 thread of camera (Or it can e fixed on other 1/4
tread mounts.
Slide any mount of B/C/D/E into the holder of “A” mount.
Make sure the mount locks in firmly to avoid the cradle sliding out of the mount during operation.

Quick Start:
-Always operate your CAMSPORTS in a safe place and in safe conditions for you and for
others
-Choose the appropriate mount and ensure it is fitted securely and tightly so that it can not
come loose while shooting your videos.
-Press
[⊙]
key and hold for 2 seconds to power up the camera.
-Adjust the lens to the proper angle.
a) Face a lank surface and press the laser utton to turn on the lasers ( The lasers will
disappear in 15 seconds). The laser can e turned on or off at any time with the laser light
utton.
) Check whether the laser light is horizontally aligned. If not, rotate the lens until it is in the
horizontal state.
The indicator light glows green to indicate stand y mode.
-Start / stop recording
a) Slide the recording switch forward. The recording indicator ( red ) turns on and flashes
while camera eeps (These audio eeps can e turned off in the menu), and camera is
recording .
) To stop recording, slide the switch ackwards, the recording indicator turns off and the
camera eeps and stops recording.
With the LCD screen constantly on the attery will only last for approximately 30 minutes.
By pressing the LCD utton

the screen will turn off and then the attery will last for 2-
3 hours. By pressing the LCD utton
[⊙]
for 2 seconds the camera will completely turn off.
Start / stop recor ing by the remote controller (HDMax Extreme)
-Press
[⊙]
key ( hold for 2 seconds ) to power up the camera.
-Connect wired remote to the DIGITAL interface of camera
-Press
【REC】
key on the wired remote to start recording, recording indicator ( red )
turns on and flashes when it is recording.
-During recording, press
【REC】
key on wired remote again to stop, and recording
indicator turns off when camera stops recording.
Picture shooting instructions
In stand y mode (no video recording) , press the front key to take photos.
The picture size is 2560 x 1920 pixels.

Playback on the camera
-Press and push the screen cover ackwards to open it.

Playback on a PC
Connect AV-out ca le to digital interface of camera, and connect the other end of AV-out ca le to USB
jack of PC.
INPUT connections
External MIC : Connect external MIC device to camera for capturing higher quality audio.
OUTPUT connections
HD TV via HDMI : Connect HDMI ca le to HDMI interface on the camera and HDMI interface of TV.
The LCD will turn off automatically when connected to TV.
TV via AVOUT : Connect the AV ca le to AV-OUT jack of camera and AVIN jack of TV. The LCD will turn
off automatically when connect to TV.
Connect to PC via USB
Connect USB to the Digital interface of camera and USB port on the PC.
Connect to power source
Connect the power line to DIGITAL interface of camera, power light (Red) is on when it is connected.
When the camera is off, connect the power line to camera, it will supply power for the camera. Power
light (Red) is off when fully charged.

RESOLUTION
Set up the required recording resolution:
FULL HD = 1920 x 1080p 30 frame per second (fps)
1080P30 = 1440p x 1080 30 fps
720P60 = 1280 x 720p 60 fps (HDMax Extreme)
720P30 = 1280 x 720p 30 fps
WVGA = 848 x 480 60 fps (HDMax Extreme)
WVGA = 848 x 480 30 fps
The higher resolution you choose the less video you can fit on your SD card.
Optionnaly, the resolution 720P50 and 720P25 can e used to fit video editing in 25 fps
QUALITY
H: High
L: Low
M: Medium
The higher the quality setting you choose the less video you will e a le to store on your SD card.
VIDEO ROTATION
Using this setting you can invert the image eing recorded. This is useful if you wish to film with the
camera in the upside down position. The image will e flipped the right way up using this setting.
-STANDARD : Choose this setting when the camera is installed in the normal position
-INVERTED : Choose this setting when the camera is installed in the inverted position.
RECORD MODE
When using in different countries, choose the TV system according to local standard. The image will
e flickeringly if the TV system is set incorrectly. Choose PAL or NTSC
EXTERNAL MIC VOL
The volume of external MIC or audio equipment can e set, and there are 7 grades that can e
selected. It will e stereo when it is used with the external MIC.
INTERNAL MIC VOL
The volume of internal MIC can e set and there are 7 grades to e selected, there will e stereo
when it is used with the external MIC, defaults to right channel.
RECORD OVERWRITE
When set as the RECORD OVERWRITE mode, the video will default to 5 minute per file. When the card
is full it will start overwriting the earliest recorded files.
MOTION DETECTION
When set in the MOTION DETECTION mode, the camera will automatically start recording when it
detects any kind of movement in its filming range. When the motion stops, the camera will
automatically stop recording again.
Setting as elow:
-NO: No start MOTION DETECTION function
-1 MIN: Start MOTION DETECTION function, it will delay 1 minute to stop recording after the
o ject leaves the shooting range
-3 MINS: Start MOTION DETECTION function, it will delay 3 minutes to stop recording after
the o ject leaves the shooting range
-5 MINS: Start MOTION DETECTION function, it will delay 5 minutes to stop recording after
the o ject leaves the shooting range.
TIME STAMP
With this setting, the current time will e stamped on the video and the recording time can e seen
during play ack.
-OFF: No time stamp
-DATE: DATE only
-TIME: TIME only
-DATE/TIME: oth DATE/TIME
TV TYPE
Choose the correct video output system when connecting AVOUT to TV. The image on the TV will e
flickering if the TV system is incorrect. Choose PAL or NTSC
TIME SETUP
There is year / month / day / hour / minute to set up on the camera.
BEEP SOUND
When you operate the camera, the key tone can e set to on or off.
FORMAT
Formats the micro SD Card.
Note: All files in the MICRO SD will e deleted and will e unrecovera le after formatting.
We suggest you format your memory card on a regular asis.
Should you have a pro lem with your camera, formatting the memory card will quite often solve the
issue.

Other tips for successful filming:
•Before leaving home, check that your camera has enough free space for recording and that
the attery is fully charged.
•Test your camera in different positions so that you don’t lose great footage ecause of poor
positioning.
Recharging the battery from your computer:
If the camera fails to start recording, the attery has pro a ly run down and needs to e recharged.
Recharge the attery as follows:
•Connect the USB ca le supplied to the mini-USB port of your camera
•Connect the ca le USB connector to your computer (in most cases, your computer must e
switched on for the attery to recharge) or connect the USB connector to the AC wall
charger supplied.
The camera should take a maximum of 3 hours to fully recharge using a computer USB port. When
recharging, the LED record indicator will e red. At full charge, the LED will turn off. If the device has
not een used for a long time, it is etter to recharge attery efore use.
Troubleshooting:
My CAMSPORTS does not start:
•The attery power may e running low: recharge the attery
•the camera may e locked: reset and try again
My CAMSPORTS switches off automatically:
•The attery power is running low : recharge the attery
•The memory is full: delete files to free up space on your camera
When my CAMSPORTS is connected to my computer, I cannot find the new drive folder:
•There may e a pro lem with the USB ca le: check the USB connection or replace the USB
ca le
•There may e a pro lem with the USB port: try another USB port or restart the computer
My CAMSPORTS did not save my last data:
•The Memory may e full: delete files to free up space on your camera
My computer cannot play my CAMSPORTS video files:
•Make sure your computer has the latest codec releases for the AVC1 and MP4a
