functions may not work.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Read and understand all instructions before using the
phone, follow the warnings and instructions marked on
the product.
• This unit is an electrical device; do not use the phone
when it is drenched in water or liquids. Unplug the line
cord by disconnecting the modular jack before removing
the phone from the liquid.

• Do not place the phone near by bathtub, shower or
similar environments, to avoid electrical shock.
• Unplug the phone before cleaning it; do not use liquid
cleaners or aerosol cleaners.
• Do not use the telephone to report a gas leak in the
vicinity of the leak.
• Do not open the equipment.
INSTALLATION
1. Connect the base and the handset

with the curled handset cord.
2. Open the battery compartment lid
and load 3 size AA-batteries in the
right polarity into the compartment.
3. Connect the phone and the wall line with straight line
cord.
4. While batteries is not equipped, some features and
functions may not work.
Note:
*Do not mix old and new batteries.
*Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries.
*If the phone is not to be used for an extended period of time, remove all
the batteries to avoid damage by leaking batteries.
*Be sure that the batteries are installed correctly. Wrong polarity may
damage the phone.

SETTING
SET button
In on-hook mode press SET button to enter the setting mode,
LCD will display root menu ‘–12345678—‘.
Pressing menu number 1-8 to enter sub-menu, pressing
DEL button to exit.
Note: The sub-menu 5-8 is unavailable for such version.
During sub-menu setting, press SET button to confirm
present set value and return back to the root menu by turn.
Unit will auto quit setting mode while no operation 13
seconds later. In setting mode:
1. Press 1 to enter time setting. Press the digit key button
to set the value of the digit which is flashing.
2. Press 2 to enter local code, long distance code and out
of range code setting. LCD displays ‘CodE –123-‘.
Press 1 to enter local code setting. LCD displays ‘ArEA

Input the number directly and press ‘*’ button to remove
wrong input number if needed.
Press 2 to enter long distance code setting. LCD
displays ‘LCOdE -----‘.
Input the number (Max. 5 digits) directly and press ‘*’
button to remove wrong input number if needed. (if no
set, the default code is 0).
Press 3 to enter out of range code setting. LCD displays
‘OCOdE -.
Input the number (Max. 1 digits) directly and press ‘*’
button to remove wrong input number if needed.
3. Press 3 to enter DND code setting. LCD displays
‘FCOdE---’.

Input the number (Max. 3 digits) directly and press ‘*’
button to remove wrong input number if needed.
4. Press 4 to enter flash time and pause setting. LCD
displays ‘SEL –12-‘.
Press 1 to enter flash time setting. LCD displays ‘FLASH
600’ (default time is 600).
Press UP or DOWN to select flash time from option
90/120/180/270/300 /600/1000ms.
Press 2 to enter pause setting. LCD displays ‘PAUSE 3’
(default time is 3).

Press UP or DOWN to select pause time from option
1/2/3/4s.
FUNCTION OPERATIONS
Pre-dial
In on-hook mode, key in the number as desired and then

press the REDIAL button. The speakerphone is activated
and the number is dialed out automatically.
Redial
Press the REDIAL button to redial the last dialed number.
Auto-busy-redial
While the dialed line is busy, press the REDIAL button and
the unit redials it automatically every 10s. The unit rings to
alert after it is connected.
Flash
The FLASH button is used to get new dial tone.
Pause
When the phone is installed behind a PABX it could be
necessary to insert a pause between the line access code (0
or 9) and the number you want to dial. When the PAUSE
button is pressed the phone holds the line for a few seconds
and a P-sign is shown on the display.
Speakerphone volume control
The speaker receiving volume can be adjusted via pressing
VOLUME button while the speakerphone is on.
VIP
During reviewing the incoming calls, press the FLASH
button, LCD displays ‘ ’, press this button again, the ‘ ’
disappears. VIP number cannot be deleted and recovered by
new call.
Outgoing call review / delete / call out
The phone stores automatically in memory the last Max. 67
numbers which where dialed out.
To redial a number from the outgoing call memory:

1. Press OUT/STORE enter outgoing call review, then
press OUT/STORE or UP button continuously to
select the number to redial.
2. Press the REDIAL button to call back the number.
3. The speakerphone is activated.
During reviewing, press DEL button twice, LCD displays
‘dEL OnE---‘, it means this displayed call record is
deleted. Keep pressing this button over 3 seconds, LCD
displays ‘dEL ALL---‘, it means all the dialed out records
are deleted, and LCD displays ‘---End---‘.
CALLER ID
Please submit Caller ID service from your local telephone
operator.
Incoming number review / delete / call back / transfer to
one-touch or two-touch memory
Press DOWN button to review the missed incoming calls
from the last one, while press UP button to review the
received incoming calls from last one in either on hook or off
hook mode.
During reviewing incoming calls, press DEL button twice,
LCD displays ‘dEL OnE---‘, it means this displayed call
record is deleted. Keep pressing DEL button for 3 seconds
above, LCD displays ‘dEL ALL---‘, it means all the incoming
records are deleted, and LCD will display ‘---End---‘.
In incoming reviewing mode, press REDIAL button once to
dial out the displayed number (if out of range code is not set);

or to dial out the number with out of range code at the
beginning (if the code is set). Press REDIAL twice to dial out
the reviewed call with out of range code (if set and the
incoming number is 7-digits above) and long distance code
at the beginning (if no long distance code set, default
distance code is “0”).
In incoming reviewing mode, press and hold OUT/STORE
button for 3s and press any one of M1~M3. The number is
stored there.
In incoming reviewing mode, press and hold OUT/STORE
button for 3s and input the number location where to store in
number key (0~9). The number is stored there.
TWO-TOUCH MEMORIES
Store a number in two touch memories
In on-hook mode press and hold OUT/STORE button for 3s,
LCD will display ‘InPUT COdE---‘.
Input desired number and press OUT/STORE button again
and input the number location where to store in number key
(0~9). For example: press OUT/STORE 1234567
OUT/STORE 1, it means the number 1234567 is stored in
key number 1.
Dialed out and delete stored number in two-touch

memories
In on-hook mode press AUTO button, LCD displays
‘ACCESS_‘, input the location number (0~9), the stored
number displays on the LCD, press REDIAL button, the
number is dialed out. If LCD displays nO COdE, it means
there is no number stored at this number key yet.
In off-hook mode press AUTO button and with digit number
(0-9), the number stored there will be dialed out.
In on-hook mode, press AUTO + digit (where number
stored), LCD displays this number, press DEL button twice
then the stored number is deleted.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Called party hears noise or weak voice
• Check the handset and cord connection
• Place the phone on a solid and clean surface while using
the phone in speakerphone function
No LCD display or display is weak
• Check the power of the batteries and check if they are well
placed in the compartment
• Adjust the LCD contrast at a higher level
• Avoid light reflection on the LCD display
Some digits are missed in call message
• Check the line cord, PABX and all other devices which are
parallel connected on the same line
No Caller ID on display

• Check if your local telephone operator provides the Caller
ID function
• When the phone is placed behind a PABX, check if the
PABX supports the Caller ID function
No function
• Check the power of the batteries and check if they are well
placed in the compartment
• Unplug the phone, remove the batteries, disconnect all
cords and reinstall the phone as written in manual.
No ringing or dial tone
• Check the line cord connection
• Check the handset cord connection
• Check if the telephone line or PABX line is working
• Check if Filter is in off position
One ring only and the line is broken
• Check the jumper box
• Check if there are parallel units on the same line and if so
remove them
