Thank you for purchasing this machine.
This manual provides information needed for safe and eective use and maintenance of this
machine to those who operate or service this machine. Read and understand this manual
thoroughly before operating or servicing this machine. Also read the separate operator's
manual for the engine.

the instructions in this manual to avoid these hazards.

About This Machine
• This machine can kill you if the safety precautions in this manual and on the
labels attached to this machine are not followed. Read and understand this
manual and the safety labels on the machine thoroughly before using or
servicing this machine. Always follow the instructions and safety precautions,
or serious injury or death could result.
• Do not modify this machine, or do not operate this machine with its safety
covers removed or open. Serious injury or death could result.
• This machine shall only be used for its intended purpose: carrying grains, produce, dirt and
similar materials.
- Do not carry other objects; doing so can damage the machine.
- Do not carry liquid concrete. Liquid concrete is corrosive and will damage the machine.
- Do not use this machine for towing, pulling, pushing, lifting, or any such load-bearing use.
• This machine is not intended to be used on public road or what is considered to be public
road. It is the sole responsibility of the operator to consult the local regulations.
• This machine is only intended to be used in the environment (temperature range and
altitude) specied in 3.1 Product Specications.
• This machine is a walk-behind machine. With the optional step, it can act as a stand-on
machine.
- In the stand-on congulation with the optional step, this machine has a riding capacity
for one operor with maximum weight of 80kg only. Do not carry anyone other than the
operator.
• This machine is intended for, and meet the regulations and standards of the European
Union. Use of this machine outside the Union can voilate the local regulations.
- This machine is provided with the instructions for a specic countri in which it is sold. In
case this machine is transfered to another country within the Union, it is the user’s sole
responsibility to provide the necessary instructions for the destained country.

regulations may dier for the minimum age for operating or servicing this type of machine.

• Never allow minors or anyone unifamiliar with this machine to operate or service this
machine.
• Operator must be physically t to operate this machine. This machine is intended for an
operator of 160cm to 200cm of height and 50kg to 120kg of weight for walk-behind use,
and of 50kg to 80kg of weight for stand-on operation.

1.1 Safety Labels
Safety labels shown on the next page are attached to the machine. See the illustration below
for the location and the illustration on the next pages for the content and meaning of each
label on the machine.
• Locate all the safety labels attached to this machine. Read and follow the instructions and
precautions in them. Failure to do so could result in property damage, serious injury or
death to the operator or bystanders.
• Keep the labels clean and legible. Do not use solvents or gasoline to clean the labels.
• Replace these labels immediately if they have been removed, have fallen o or become
illegible. Use part number written on the label or shown in this manual to order a
replacement label from your CANYCOM representative.

• Read manual. Operator’s manual presents essential safety information that you
must follow for safe operation and service of this machine.
• Stop engine before servicing. There are moving parts around the engine, and these
parts can post hazard if accessed while moving. To avoid accidential running of the
engine, you must turn the main switch to the [ (OFF)] position.
• Crush hazard when backing up.
• Overturn and runaway hazard when driving on the slope. This includes, but not
limited to, pitching or stumbling, or running away to hit persons or objects, when
going up or down the slope, or rolling over when crossing the slope. Read
4.2.6 Driving on Slope for further instructions and precautions.
• Crush hazard when working under the vessel. When working under the vessel, hold
the vessel with the safety prop. Read 5.8 Vessel for further safety precautions.

This section contains safety precautions to follow when operating and maintaining this
machine. Read and understand the precautions in this section as well as throughout this
manual and follow them when operating or maintaining this machine.
1.2 Safety Precautions
• Use this machine only for its intended use in its original conguration and in its intended
use environment.
• This is a walk-behind machine, with stand-on capability when the optional step specically
intended for this machine is installed.
- Do not carry person(s) in the vessel.
- Do not attempt to ride on the machine unless equipped with the optional step.
1.2.1 Intended Use and Conguration
1.2.2 User Qualications
• Operator is solely responsible for the accidents or hazards caused by this machine during
its operation to other people or to their property.
• Operator must be familiar with the controls, safety labels and proper use of this machine.
• Mechanic must be qualied and familiar with the construction and workings of this machine
to service.
• Never operate this machine when you are ill, very tired, or under inuence of alchohl or
drugs.

1.2.3 Preparation
• Fire hazard.
- Fuel can catch re and explode. Do not handle fuel near open re or spark.
• Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (see 4.1 Preparation) when
operating or servicing this machine. Proper clothing will minimize risk of injury.
• Perform daily inspection (see 4.1.4 Pre-start up Inspection) before starting this machine.
Repair or replace damaged parts before starting this machine.
• Check the work site for potential dangers before operation.
• Keep bystandards, in particular children, away when operating this machine.
1.2.4 Operation
• Do not operate the engine in a conned space where dangerous carbon monoxide fumes
can accumulate.
• Do not touch the engine, muer or exhaust pipe while the engine is running or soon after it
has stopped. These areas will be very hot and can cause burns.
General Driving
• Loss of control or overturn of the machine can result in property damage,
serious injury or death. Always pay close attention to the factors such as speed,
rate of steering, terrain, and load that aect the stability of the machine.

• Start the machine slow. Avoid making sudden maneuvers. The machine can lose control or
overturn.
- Safe speed depends on many factors such as ground condition, surface gradient, speed,
load, or weight distribution. Always travel slow and use extra caution when you are
operating on unfamiliar or changing terrain.
- Drive slow and be cautious when operating on soft, wet, or slippery terrain.
- Never operate on ice.
• Never operate on terrain that you are not comfortable with. Avoid terrain that is so rough,
slippery or loose that you feel like you could overturn.
• Do not operate this machine near the edge of a cli or ditch, overhang or slide area. The
machine can fall and overturn. Pay caution after rain or earthquake.
• Watch out for large obstacles such as rocks, stumps, or logs. Do not attempt to drive over
them or the machine can overturn.
• Always make certain that there is no obstacle or person behind the machine when backing
up. After making sure that it is safe to back up, move slowly and avoid sharp turns.
• When you park the machine, park it on a at, level, and stable surface.
• When you park, turn the clutch lever to the disengaged position to apply the integrated
parking brake and stop the engine.
• This machine is a walk-behind machine; CANYCOM provides the optional step.
With this optional step installed, this machine can be used as a stand-on machine.
- Riding capacity if for the operator Only.
- The weight limit for riding is 80kg.
- When riding on the step, always stand on the step and hold the handlebar securely.
• Stand rmly on the step. Always hold the guide rail with one hand to keep your posture
when the machine is moving so that you will not be thrown o the machine.
• When riding, beware of the overhead obstacles such as the branches of trees. Overhead
obstacles can knock you o the machine or choke you.

Driving on Slope
• Do not use this machine on slope steeper than 15 degrees.
• Check terrain, surface condition, and gradient carefully before attempting to drive on
slope.
• When driving on slope, proceed at a steady rate of speed and throttle position. Avoid
moving the throttle lever or drive lever suddenly, or the machine can overturn.
• Avoid turning on slope.
• When going over the top of slope, go slow; the obstacle, sharp drop, or other vehicles or
persons could be on the other side of the crest.
• Use engine speed to help keep machine speed low.
• Driving on a slope in a wrong manner can cause a loss of control and vehicle
overturn, resulting in serious injury or death. Take the precautions described in
this section and in 4.2.4 Driving on Slope.
1.2.5 Servicing
• Do not operate the engine in a conned space where dangerous carbon monoxide fumes
can accumulate.
• Do not touch the engine, muer, or exhaust pipe while the engine is running or soon after
it has stopped. These areas will be very hot and can cause burns
• Run-on hazard. Hand or clothes can get tangled. Stop the engine when
servicing. If it is necessary to run the engine while servicing, keep off the
moving parts.

This machine has the following safety systems.
This machine has an operator presence control (OPC) in the form of a hold-to-drive clutch.
The machine travels only when the operator holds the clutch lever.

This machine is equiped with the push-to-stop main switch (→2.1.1 item 4). In case of
emergency, the operator push the main switch to stop the machine stops.

1 Throttle Lever . . . . . . . . . . . . Throttle Lever is used to control engine speed.
2 Drive Clutch Lever . . . . . . . . Drive Clutch Lever is used to engage or disengage the
drive clutch. Grabing it in engages the clutch. Releasing it
disengages the clutch and engages the brake.
Illustration below shows the controls of this machine and the stickers that indicate these
controls.

3 Side Clutch Lever . . . . . . . . Side Clutch Lever is used to steer the machine by
engaging the side clutch.
4 Main Switch . . . . . . . . . . . . . Main Switch is used to turn on or off the ignition of the
engine. Pressing and turning it to the right to turn it on.
Pushing it automatically make it turn to the left to turn it o.
5 Starter Handle. . . . . . . . . . . . Starter Handle is used to start the engine. Turning the
main switch on and pull this starter handle to start the
engine.
6 Choke Lever . . . . . . . . . . . . . Choke Lever is used to help start the engine by closing the
choke valve.
7 Shift Lever. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Shift Lever is used to shift gears.
8 Auxiliary Transmission . . . . Auxiliary Transmission Shift Lever is used to select fast or
slow driving modes.
9 Dump Lever . . . . . . . . . . . . . Dump Lever is used to raise or lower the vessel for
dumping. Pulling it up unlocks the vessel to be raised.
When lowered, it automatically locks.
10 Handle Lever Adjuster . . . . . Handle Lever Adjuster is used to adjust the angle of the
handle Lever. Raising the handle lever adjuster unlocks
the handle lever, and lowering it locks the handle lever.
