■Never open the i-BRUSH box.
■The i-BRUSH system is designed to be mounted
indoors or in closed compartments. Any other
use will void the warranty.
■Moisture can form during transport in cold
weather or in the event of large temperature
fluctuations.
■Avoid moisture formation (condensation) in the
i-BRUSH system and leave it to adjust to room
temperature slowly.
■If condensation has occurred, wait at least 12
hours before switching on the i-BRUSH system.
The system need always to be packed in the
original packing when transporting. Mechanical
stress and strong vibrations should be avoided.

INSTALLATION
The i-BRUSH Display should be mounted within
100 meters of the i-BRUSH system. The i-BRUSH
Display should be securely fastened.
■Connect the i-BRUSH Display to 110 – 230
VAC (1,8 A). Make sure that it is connected to
ground via the power cord.
■Connect the barcode scanner to the
corresponding connector.
■Connect the RJ45 cable from the i-BRUSH
system to the corresponding connector on the
i-BRUSH Display.
Make sure the i-BRUSH Display is turned off
before making any connections to it.
OPERATION
To power up the i-BRUSH Display push the on/off
button on the power entry module.
After some seconds it will show the HMI.
NOTE!
CLEANING DANGER
The I-BRUSH system does not require any special
maintenance. If the system stops working, do not
try to repair it or open it. Doing so will void the
warranty.
A broken system should in most cases be returned
to Carbex for repair – always contact Carbex first
and they will advise on the action to take.
Switch off the device and all connected devices, and
disconnect the device from the power supply.
The device can be cleaned with a soft, damp cleaning
cloth. Do not use any aggressive cleaning materials,
thinners, scouring material or hard objects that could
cause scratches.

Display is blank Check the connections and the cabling, check that the i-BRUSH box is

Check the connections. Check also that the barcode scanner is lights
are red when pushing the button, replace if not.
