INSTALLATION
ACTIVATION
INSTRUCTIONS
With the door opening away from you,
assess the height at which you would
like the Happy Hand to be positioned.
This should ideally be out of reach of
young children.
Remove the 3mm tape covering and
position the Happy Hand with the
straight edge of the backplate just
touching the frame rebate (see Fig. 1).
Press the Happy Hand firmly into place
and allow adhesive to set for 24 hours
before using it.
DO NOT USE FOR 24 HOURS
(see note below)
To activate the Happy Hand, open the door
and simply rotate the device 180 degrees so
that the fingers are protruding outwards
beyond the edge of the door (see Fig. 2).
To close the door, simply rotate the device
180 degrees in the opposite direction.
Important Notes
Ensure the door surface is free from dirt and
grease before installing the Happy Hand.
Please allow 24 hours for the adhesive pad
to set before using the Happy Hand.
Do not install the device on fire escape
doors, as these are intended to remain
closed at all times, except in an emergency.
