- Avoid breathing directly from the top of unit while operating
-Do not use in the freezer compartment
-Remove batteries when not in use to prevent corrosion
-Keep away from liquids – do not immerse
-Do not drop or shake
-Light turns red when batteries are discharged; however, for
optimal effectiveness replace batteries every 4-6 months;
even if red light has not yet come on.
-Make sure to wipe off all condensation after removing unit
from refrigerator to prevent corrosion – especially in battery
compartment.
- Press tabs on both sides of unit to remove top
-Place 4 D alkaline batteries in proper configuration
-Replace top by gently snapping into place, making sure
both sides are securely latched
-Press power button until status indicator flashes only green
about every 2 seconds (Boost mode)
-Unit will stay in Boost mode for approximately 30 minutes
then automatically switch to Standby mode (indicated by
status indicator flash approximately every 10 seconds) to
maximize battery life.
- Unit will automatically cycle into Boost mode every couple
of hours to maintain proper sanitizer levels.
-You may manually start Boost mode by pressing the power
button until the status indicator flashes approximately every
2 seconds.
-Pressing the power button sequentially cycles between the
three modes of operation: Boost, Standby, and Off
